I've met both Kidman and Torrie out of the ring without makeup, and let me tell you, Kidman looks a hell of a lot more like he does on TV than Torrie does. You know the slogan "Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybeline?" With Torrie, it is Maybeline. It is most definitely Maybeline, and it involves a lot of it applied liberally. It's sad, too, because Kidman gave me hope that dorky-looking guys my height could get a knock-out woman. This isn't the first time I've heard of that. Excessive tanning may have something to do with it. That or my "Torrie Wilson is a succubus" theory would be plausible; she perhaps hadn't had her nightly meal yet. Although I thought the short guys got all the women. Us tall ones are SOL unless we're jocks. If Kidman mocking her bulemia was rooted in fact, then perhaps both. Or maybe she's just willing to do anything Vince wants her to do for the sake of money.

No steady hand or soldering iron either.

Mandy = Molly Holly of pop stars? She's kinda been looking like her as of late with the hair.
-
Well, many many many guys have gotten Torrie.

This should be good. Huh? Which are all essentially the same and repeated over, and over, and over... WWE hasn't had a face that was "good" in years. BZZZZT!!

I don't have a Gamebit. I'd prefer to go the converter route.

I wouldn't pay that much for a crappy Square game. I *really* need one of this Circuit Cities near me. I keep missing out on great deals, damnit.

WM2000's history disc did, as there was about 3 seconds of the horrible Gigante/Taker match. Ah-ha, but that was Giant Gonzales, not El Gigante! Think that Russo will get a good bit of blame as well for the death of WCW?

Not to mention encouraging Jindrak and Cade in their thieving ways. Oh yeah, I forgot about him making it seem that breaking the 7th commandment is A-OK. Of course, it was Jindrak and Cade, so it was easily forgotten. Agreed. The Klique has power to this very day to some extent, so Michaels not being taken out of the picture would probably have kept their influence strong. Although that "would have gone to WCW with his friends" is very possible as well. Considering that Michaels was surprisingly not mentioned too much in discussing the big picture of WMXIV, wasn't ever much of a draw as a champ, and three of his friends left, that might very well have happened. I'd always gotten the impression that he was tighter with Hall and Nash than HHH.

The "good Christian" HBK character has, from what I've seen: Taken cheap shots at Bret Hart Joined the nWo as a heel Pulled sneak attacks on opponents Accepted tainted wins and even cheated to win Like a sore loser, he cost Jericho the Rumble match Basically, he's acted hardly any different than anyone else.

I ended up getting the Gameshark--which version worked for you? I have a v. 2.1 and it isn't working. I'm worried if I saw off the ends of the cart that if the game doesn't work I'm stuck with it.
-
Same as usual.

"5 big ones?" Rumble Mania Summerslam Survivor Series and...Bad Blood? They killed King of the Ring off.

HBK would try to pull politics to keep Austin down, but he would fail still. However, he'd end up marrying Stephanie to make certain he'd have a secure spot in the company. He'd likely have retired and come out of retirement by now, and HHH would have used his connections to be a main eventer. So basically, I think injury or Steph marriage, Shawn was going to get what was coming to him either way.

Final Fantasy 12 artwork of two main charas

It's a MMORPG. Hence, I have zero interest. Surely most of us can agree Nomura blows, though, right? -
Just saw this match last night. Arn's interview and the buildup towards the match made me care more about the Big Gold Belt than any WWE title in years. It's also the only redeeming thing on the whole damn show. =) Excellent choice.

Man, I can't contain my joy at seeing more Tetsuya Nomura character designs. Almost as a rule I hate bishie crap, although I appreciate Ayami Kojima's awesome art more than Nomura's dull, lifeless junk, despite her bishie-love. Some early details I read about the actual game sound promising. Except of course, that I know deep down this is a nu sk00L game and hence will likely suck. Still, at least it's not FFXI, I game I couldn't care about less if I tried. -
Really? Huh. I've had mine on its side since I bought it. Saves space so very well. I've heard tons of people say "never stand it on its side" and "never lay it down!" "Never put it on standby" and "standby is fine!" I've had mine in both positions with no problems. Just guesswork for why their systems failed. Standby I haven't fooled with, I just unplug after use.

Guile was godly in SFII. Character balance would be a bit of a problem I'd think, since so many characters got watered down during the course of the revisions. Sure, new moves and the supers were added, but things like massive air priority, redizzies and invincible dragon punches are extremely useful/cheap. Sakura: What about the voices? I always preferred the announcer from SFII/CE over that sissy announcer in the Supers.

I also recall some people saying that AS and the others agreeing with him were full of shit, failing to see this cockiness and "natural heel" business. However, it's obvious that he's got a bad attitude that simply won't work out. Zach's got his place...and that's as the SD version of Spike Dudley: gets his skinny ass tossed around and bumping like a mofo for guys like Show and Albert. He can't sue for discrimination because that's what Vince has all of his smaller wrestlers do, pretty much. So he'll be begging to be released.

Unfortunately, by OVW standards, she'll be ready after 2 or so years. If they haven't already lost the Latino and Latina demographic by that time - what with the way they're screwing around with Eddie and Chavo - I'd be surprised, actually. I can only be slightly thankful they didn't put Gail Kim with Kyo Dai. She's injured right now. By the time she's healthy again Kyo Dai will be on Velocity every week and angle-less. If not...yup, I guess that's what they'll do.

"This Tuesday in Texas!~" Well...other than that, I'm speechless. This just means we'll be seeing Insurrextion and Rebellion worldwide, right?
-
That happened to me too. I had the first model and it started giving me problems after about a year. This may sound stupid, but I used to turn the system upside-down to get it to work properly. Nope, a lot of us did the same for a while until it was no longer very effective.

I lucked out. Got my PS2 in late 2001 and it's still working fine. I had some worries at times, but I still play games and DVDs on it regularly. However, no it isn't the only system. The original Playstation had some glaring design flaws. It overheated too easily, and when I had it for about a year music and FMVs would skip constantlly. Since then, I unplug all my systems when I don't play them and I've had no other systems croak on me. Sony seems to haphazardly throw their video game systems out there without making sure they'll last.
