  1. Don't have them, at least not yet. However, I'll get back to ya after the 14th and we shall see. Oh, never really have had a problem with PayPal. However, when I buy more expensive stuff I get the guarantee just in case. Do that by entering the Paypal site and then sending the money, as opposed to clicking any buttons on other sites.
  2. Considering the circumstances (there's some rape trial he was involved in that I paid no attention to, therefore don't really have preconceptions about), that's not really too bad at all. It's not like he was pelted with bottles or anything. Although I wonder what will happen in New York. My feedback on the Tombstone Petey situation is sent to the e-mail addy. Kurt Angle, Olympic Buttinski. The point of this angle is lost on me. They wussed out on pushing Eddy when they fed him to Big Show, then not only didn't do anything with Eddy but did nothing with the title on Show. Maybe they realiized they screwed up (duh) and are trying to rebuild Eddy? If so, I don't see Eddy moving up any further until after Wrestlemania, and that's a shame. Angle-Eddy at WM would seem the logical direction, so at least there could be a very watchable match out of this situation. No Hardcore matches anymore, but they put Hardcore Holly in a match that is almost the same thing. If Show had been used consistantly and was defending the title, this would be a great way to build up the Rumble match, with the challenger (ugh, Holly) going through Team Lesnar en route to challenging for the title. However, Show's even more directionless than Eddy is, so I'm not too excited. If they have Test eliminate Benoit in the Rumble I'll...uh...well, I already stopped watching... Anyway, I'm really worried here. They're building up Benoit so strongly it seems like he's about to come up way short in the Rumble match. Even if he wins the Rumble, I see him not leaving Mania as champion. I miss when wrestling was predictable, and you were likely to see WWE make a new star even if it was some one sucked. JHawk--think they'll go all the way with Benoit, half-way, or just cut him off at the legs by having him get tossed in the Rumble? Also, this Holly push ends at the Rumble, right? Cena being the most promising of the OVW up and comers makes me somewhat sad for the WWE, wrestling-wise. Sure, Brock and Angle are good, but far from Benoit and Eddy's level. I doubt any of the OVW guys are going to be any better than Brock and Angle, and the shorter matches and focus on backstage crap seems to foreshadow the WWE getting worse and worse wrestling-wise. Of course, this push I can at least get behind, at least. However, I think Cena may have difficulty getting over as a heel. WWE seems to prefer giving big pushes as a heel before granting a wrestler a spot on top. Sure, Brock's a unique situation, but I'm reminded how Jericho has difficulty drawing true heel heat since it's too hard to hate the guy.
  3. Well, Gail's probably bustier than Stacy, but in comparison to the others, she's not as curvaceous. Although, I'd rather him not do it for the faces either, rather than do it to all the women.
  4. Yup, but I already had that because it came with the game. As you might imagine, it's much more essential to enjoying the game than most others. Too much crammed into too few buttons. Dunno if I want to part with it...
  5. I shudder to imagine...
  6. Me too. I would think sticking him with Torrie Wilson would have killed his career dead for good.
  7. What bad example? It's not as if they're doing some degrading type of porn or anything, they're posing in a respected magazine that countless other public figures have done before. Respected by...whom? And generally those "public figures" = washed up, out of work actresses. Although sometimes before they're famous, ex-models pose before getting jobs on MTV or marrying rich old coots with one foot in the grave.
  8. wildpegasus: So, Nintendo let a quirky, Japanese title to our shores with little "localization?" Cool. I'll give it a shot next time I'm out there. DerangedHermit: Well, to be fair, the Saturn was a great machine, but Sega didn't know about how cheap the PS would be until last minute. Once you're put a system on the market, if you almost immediately cut the price 100 dollars you're displaying weakness and the confidence of stockholders and customers alike will be shaken. It's usually only considered in cases of total desperation (N-Gage). If they waited a few months down the line and cut the price to go with a killer app like Nintendo did this holiday season, they could have had something. Unfortunately, all the Saturn really had to show for itself was a bunch of 3D games that looked like crap compared to the Playstation, and the Saturn never emphasized its 2D power in the States much. However, I'd agree on the rest. I vowed never to buy a Sega system again after they horribly burned me on the 32X. I broke that vow, though. Hey, the Dreamcast's awesomeness and a perfect port of Vampire Savior broke my resistance. Although the Beyond Oasis thing really bugs me. Nintendo's Zelda games were a huge success. You have a really good game starring a hero with far more play mechanics getting rave reviews. You don't try to milk it and use it to your advantage: mind-numbingly stupid. Sega would mainly market licensed titles. *shakes head* Sure, Aladdin was a great game and Jurassic Park was pretty good, but in general you didn't really need to market licensed titles. They'd sell themselves, and the more hardcore gamers would pick if up if they saw good reviews.
  9. I thought that there were separate writing teams for Raw and Smackdown?
  10. Oh, neither do I. However, it takes some class that if you're a public figure that likely has fans of all sorts, including younger girls, to not pose nude for a magazine since it might set a bad example. That may have been the furthest reason from her mind for all I know, but just saying.
  11. Torrie was a fitness model, too...
  12. I believe it was Bartlett. Never heard him, but he's been listed on wrestlecrap for being a color commentator that wasn't in any shape or form funny. Knowing Vince's tastes, I'm shocked he hasn't tried to get Andrew Dice Clay in the booth. And I do believe that Savage at least was part of a three man team briefly, including WMIX. I'm glad Vince continues to live up to his vow to not insult the fans' intellects.
  13. As in the smell, or in the amount of times filled with men's rods? Why you didn't use the blatantly obvious "filled with seamen/semen" joke is beyond me. +3 SP for Meatwad. nl5xsk1: Because it's fishing joke, not a navy-related joke. Compared to Torrie, that's tame. That's just about as on par with most of the other "Divas." When she's simulated oral sex with a banana, gives another wrestler a BJ in the hospital, puts her services as a personal love slave on the line in a match, swings with another couple (presumably involving HLA as well), and does some full-on lesbian kissing on TV, etc, etc. then we'll compare. In Torrie's defense, they say women marry men that are like their fathers. In wrestling it seems all the more truthful--take a look at Torrie and Stephanie's dads.
  14. The travel schedule was too rough for him. I've heard nothing about any sort of other "pressures" but I may be wrong. As for what he's doing, I don't know if this is the same guy, but apparently not much lately. I guess if WWE were to stop touring as much and end up taping their shows several weeks in advance at one arena he might be able to be welcomed back...
  15. Mick would suck as a writer, no offense. It's not that he's not a smart guy and it's not that he doesn't know the business. However, he's a kiss-ass, he loved the Russo era way too much from what I read from his books, and dealing with the politics would be too much for even him to put up with. It wouldn't work. The only way to see real change is to replace the entire writing team and convince Vince that he needs to go with a completely new direction than what he wants to go with all the time.
  16. Eh, late 30's I think. A lot of actresses look really hot until late in their 40's and sometimes beyond (although probably some via unnatural means). While Torrie leaving would be great, remember that Sable came back, and since Chyna posed too... I hate Torrie, but Chyna returning isn't an acceptable alternative. I thought Sable's second time posing was after she left WWE, though.
  17. You can have great shows with wrestling writers. You can have great shows with writers not familiar with wrestling. The problem now is that the writers flat out suck, and the direction Vince is pointing them in isn't any good either.
  18. He does the voice of Garfield in this flick. Fun Factoid: Lorenzo Music (the man who voiced Garfield from the beginning, and did all the commercials, TV specials, and Garfield & Friends shows up until his death) voiced Bill Murray's character, Peter Venkman, in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon. A friend of mine pointed that out to me. Liz seemed way too giddy and friendly in the brief bit of a preview I saw. I'm worried that Jon's going to end up getting the girl in the end at the very least. That would be like a Peanuts movie where Charlie Brown got to go out with the little redheaded girl and finally kicked the football.
  19. Yes, if they hire a good writer and not hacks like Gerwitz. Can you honestly imagine him or Steph doing storyboards? Thought not.
  20. This question depends, because there are lots of games that sold terribly and are rare but have such good word of mouth they sound like they're great, but if more people played them there wouldn't be such a big deal made. SO3 basically is saying that about Suikoden II. However, I think Suikoden 1 is still a great game so I'd probably like two. It's not the most overrated RPG of all time, though. I'd say that has to be Final Fantasy VII. Underrated by the mainstream and underrated by everyone--depends. However, in no particular order here are mine: Beyond Oasis (Genesis) and Legend of Oasis (Saturn--just got it today!) -- Great Adventure RPGs that could have been Sega's answer to the Zelda games, if Sega weren't such morons at the time and resistant to anything and everything RPG-like. Gunstar Heroes--I never even heard of the game until years later. Neo Geo Pocket Color-- okay, not a game but a game system few people own with fantastic games on it. Lost Vikings -- Very cool, very unique gameplay. Rocket Knight Adventures -- Fantastic game. Konami rules. Most of the games made by Konami during the 16-bit days... Prehistorik Man (SNES)-- not to be confused with that lame Flintstones platformer. Metal Slug X-- Every Playstation (or PS2) owner should have this. One of my favorite games ever. Ristar-- BUTT-ugly box art aside, a quality platformer. Shantae for Game Boy Color -- This is an excellent platformer with RPG elements, too-good-to-be-GBC visuals and art, unique gameplay techniques, and cool character designs. The sequel for GBA is on the way. Anyone who has been on the boards for a while knows my love for the game. However, it's underrated by just about everyone. Only flaw is the respawning enemies appear too close to you. Probably that'll be corrected in the sequel anyway. Could you give a little mini-review/more in depth opinion about it? There's a pharmacy that rents out games and often sells the older ones around here. It's selling a copy (box, manual, and all) for $12.88. Worth it?
  21. Oh come on, she can't wiggle her boobs individually and you know that.
  22. True, provided WWE actually gets over it as well. I'm trying to picture this interview being conducted live. So, was Kane in character or not?
  23. WWE "Divas" acting?! Trish's crying is bad enough, but Sable and Torrie are the absolute pits. Torrie doesn't even have on-screen chemistry with her own hubby. (see: Thanksgiving Smackdown 2002).
  24. Yeah...the one word I think of when I think about Trish's WWF/E career is "class". Compare and contrast to Torrie's. Trish was scum strictly as a heel. Torrie's always been the same way. I think CanadianChick just agrees with my assessment of Torrie. It's not shocking at all that Torrie decided to do it, and twice to boot.
  25. Torrie and Sable? HAHAHAH!! It's not a question of "would or wouldn't they," it's a question of "how much $."
