Hmph, probably the E's idea to make that change in the first place. It isn't even just that, it's also that lower card guys have far lower stats than the upper card ones in total. Yeah, in season mode it makes sense that Goldberg is going to beat Steven Richards all the time. However, in virtually any fighting game character balance is considered important. Not so here.

*ding, ding, ding* It's a brilliant stragety. Cover her up in the first game, then it's a much bigger deal when she's running around in skimpy clothes in the second game.

That's a matter of the natural evolvement of a language being molded into a new form through the assimilation of a number of new ethnic groups. We're talking about a matter of a minority perpetuating stereotypes while simultaneously being dragged down to subliteracy. If you want to talk to your friends in some butchered "dialect" that's your constitutional right, however I don't believe we should expected to learn it as well. I know some black folks that like to read actual literature, although they speak some of that colored-folk-slang as well. That's good and fine. However, I also know some that seem to have derived their entire vocabulary from rather tasteless rap music. Then they bitch about the white man because THEY dropped out of school, can barely read, and have trouble with any big words. Oh yeah. For example, much like Ekimos do for snow, they have about a hundred words for marijuana.

There's one already out... Mick Foley: Hard Knocks & Cheap Pops. Its pretty good: Full versions of Dude Love/Austin (Over the Edge '98), Shawn Michaels/Mankind (Mind Games '97), The Rock/Mankind (Halftime Heat), Mankind/Austin (Raw), and the Kennel From Hell with funny-ass commentary from Kevin Kelly & Foley, plus an hour and twenty minute documentary which is pretty good. Oh yeah, a must-have in my opinion. *holds up his autographed copy* The section on the Edge/Christian skits are my favorite of the non-wrestling stuff, and includes the chicken suit bit.

I seriously had only one arcade around here, didn't begin gaming until 93 or so, and that one arcade (currently shut down) didn't really keep any old stuff around except for pinball games and Pac-Man. Although before I was officially a gamer, we had a roller rink (also shut down now) that had some good stuff for the time, like Toobin', Moonwalker, Robotron, Joust and Defender. No Gauntlet that I remember, though.

Dumbest DVD that hasn't been made, but possibly could be-- the Torrie Wilson DVD idea, as mentioned by some one else. I don't think she's ever been in an angle I'd actually call "good" ever. If you count the Tajiri phase as being in two separate angles (face Tajiri and heel Tajiri), you could argue when she was face Tajiri's valet everything was fine. Otherwise, no. They'd probably put the Lingerie match from NM2001 on it, with a few other matches and a bunch of skits. Dumbest DVD that currently exists: I haven't seen the Lita or Trish ones, but I would expect them to be the winners for profile DVDs. As for other assorted ones, the WWE TV specials that were put on DVD (Eve of Destruction, Raw X, etc) kinda top those, even.

Question: Is the PS2 version out yet? I haven't seen it. Pitfall 2 isn't in the Activision collection for PS1. The PS2 one I'm not sure of though, it may have far more. Is Pitfall 2 Atari 2600? It feels all wrong playing on a computer to me. So haul your jaded, emulating, cheap ass out of this thread if you aren't going to add anything to the conversation. (kidding) I'd rather be able to select from a menu on a PS2 disc than boot up my computer, run the emulator, download and run the ROMs, and wrestle with my keyboard to play a game. Is that the precursor to that arcade/DC game Legends? Remember that I have no arcades around here and growing up I hardly ever went to any.

I've seen reviews for the X-Box version, and I believe it's coming out for PS2 as well (maybe Gamecube, I'm not sure). However, take a look at the roster of games... Robotron, Toobin', Rampage, both Jousts and Defenders, Paperboy, and Smash TV? Haven't played the others, but I'm sold on it already.

Perfectly acceptable. As for the Goldust situation, I hope they had a good reason at least, i.e. he wanted out. Because the only reaosn I could see to get rid of him is injuries, and if that were the case a LOT of guys wouldn't be employed right now that have been injured more.

Yeah, the crappy old sleepers are still in, but there are ones that allow you to get submission wins now. Roddy has one as a default finisher, for instance.

Considering Gerwitz works there, I'm surprised we haen't seen more. A move called the Cyclops would work perfectly for Venis.

Big Show's about a hundred times better than Jones. True. And John Cena is 100 times better than half the people on this board give him credit for. Not really. However, only occasionally does he use more than a basic moveset in his matches.
