The lineage of Dynamite Kid style wrestlers is absurd.

Red wrestles for JAPW now. He cut off his hair and wears actual tights instead of the goofy trashbag pants. He doesn't look too bad in some of the clips I saw.

I honestly thought Sabin was seriously injured after that Cracker Jack into the cage. How long have Abyss and Matt Morgan been feuding? I swear they had that blow off about 3 months ago.

What if Chris Benoit didn't, well, you know. I always wondered what would have happen with Punk and Morrison on ECW.

TONY GAREA?!

I think that the crowd being makes for a more intimate atmosphere. It's easier for the crowd to make connections with the wrestlers.

Batista kinda came as a package deal with Flair in Evolution because Flair was Batista's manager. I don't remember how Orton became a member. I think he was just there to be the "Tully" of the group because he's young and cocky or something.

The most humorous take on this is when Austin Aries challenged Ricky Reyes to a fight and pulled off his clothes revealing his tights and his....ELBOW PADS?!

I used Arn Anderson's "Adversity" quote in an Art Project in high school. When I had portfolio night, the token military guy loved the quote.

I was watching the replay of Impact this past Saturday and I was wondering why the Machine Guns were teaming with the Main Event Mafia. I remember Tenay saying that the Guns were in the Frontline.

-BJ Whitmer's powerbomb o doom on Jimmy Jacobs at the 1st Dragon Gate Challenge. They pretty much based the whole feud around that moment. -Tyler Black breaking the ring with Bryan Danielson's body during a Corner Powerbomb spot at New Horizons. -
BATTLE BOWL. Am I really supposed to believe that Austin and Rude randomly got teamed up with each other?
-
I read once that there was an actual psychology behind the mist colors. Green was normal, red would somehow burn more and the RARE yellow actually caused temporary paralysis. Of course the red and yellow mists would damage the mister's throat so they could only be done in certain circumstances. And prolonged misting can't be that dangerous, how many times has Chono taken mist? He seems as bad ass as ever. Black mist will blind you. Just ask Nidia.

I liked the part in the No DQ match with Punk and Regal where the Ref tried to get Punk to break an arm submission and Punk responds by saying "IT'S NO DQ, I"M GONNA BREAK HIS ARM!" and the Ref just stood there looking baffled.

I was thinking about starting a topic like this for a while. I don't know if it should be one big thread or a thread for each week (the mods can pick). Obviously, the point of the topic is to get you all to discuss your favorite match of each week. My favorite match of the week was the tag match between Miz & Morrison vs The Colon Brothers on Friday Night Smackdown. It was an awesome fast paced match, some kewl movez~! (bulldog into the corner), and a good finish that didn't make the Colon Brothers look bad, but, made Miz and Morrison look like smart and opportunistic heels.

I like that commercial a lot. It's got a real old school vibe to it. Is that supposed to be HBK from around 92?
-
I also don't understand how that's illegal either. Matt Striker was saying anything apart of your gear can be used in a match, which is why Paul Burchill's kneebrace knee drops were legal.

Haha. I actually like the idea of a 45 minute time limit draw. I know this is going to sound stupid, but, I'd be more likely to watch a 45 minute match over a 60 minute match because the latter just sounds like it's going to be a chore to watch.
