Aside from the Bisping decision and Mirko not showing up (they should probably keep him off Spike telecasts from now on), a great night of fighting. Rampage should hit every talk show imaginable since he could be a great ambassador for the sport.

How in the HELL did Bisping win that fight?! What were the other judges watching who didn't score it 30-27 or 29-28 Hamill? Mike did nothing but get in a few shots and avoid the takedowns (though Matt was getting him later in the fight). Bad decision.

I think it might be time to give Matsuzaka a lighter load in the final weeks. His last handful of starts (including tonight's) have not been good at all, so you might as well save whatever gas he's got left in the tank for October instead of wasting it. Everyone and their mother wants to see more of Buchholz, so let him get some more experience for next year (including a start against the Yankees).

Man, the Orioles can't even start a bench-clearing brawl correctly. I love how Julian Tavarez is trying to be the peacemaker by talking to Cabrera (who balked to score a run and then threw the next pitch at Pedroia's head). Why is Cabrera not tossed from this game? EDIT 2: He is gone. Time to feast on the O's bullpen!

Fuck I wish I was at that game tonight. Seeing this kid pitch it on TV is fun enough, but I wanted to be in that atmosphere. Pedroia's play brought the house down. I'd say Boston's starting pitching will continue to be tops in the league for a while with guys like this coming down the pipeline.
