There was a time when Smackdown could barely break 3.2, and hell..WWE as a whole couldn't break 3.4/3.5. So yes, ratings are up. SD's overnight rating is higher than the final rating. SD will probably come in around 3.5 or so for the final actual rating, which is about par for the course for the show.

Gotta go with the latter. Look at the Eagles & McNabb - McNabb severely cut down on his scrambling, and has become a much better QB. Consequently, the Eagles have been to 2 NFC conf. champ. games, and had the best record in the NFC the last 2 years.
