  1. I meant spinning toe hold.
  2. I doubt she gained that much, but she definitely put on a few. She still looked good, though.
  3. Add in the step-over toe hold, ala Terry Funk.
  4. 1) Stomp on ankle 2) Pull opponent towards ring apron, then slam leg/ankle down on the apron 3) Pull opponent towards corner, slam leg/ankle against ring post 4) Take opponent to the outside, slam leg/ankle against ring steps 5) The "shinbreaker atomic drop" can be sold as an ankle move 6) Place opponent's leg on bottom rope, then jump on leg 7) Jumping knee drop to the ankle There's 7 ways to work over the ankle. I'm sure there are other believable moves/holds that can be used.
  5. Rey was wearing that shirt on the last SD. I wondered what was on the front. And Hurricane gets another shirt because his stuff sells, jobber or not. I doubt a Stevie shirt (other than the bWo shirts from way back) would sell as well as a Hurricane one.
  6. "big guy squashes little guy to prove he's tough/mean/a bad dude"
  7. Why do you say that? It'd just be a matter of using some stomps on the ankle, slamming the ankle on the ring apron, maybe slamming it on the ring post, take the opponent to the outside and use the ring steps - stuff like that throughout the match. It's not like he'd need to spend 10 minutes lying on the mat with a submission hold on his opponent's ankle.
  8. I realize the Crossface has been built recently as damaging the arm, but Benoit also cranks back the head/neck, so if you look at it like that, the suplexes & chops do the job of weakening his opponents' necks/upper body (as well as back - Benoit does position himself on his opponent's back when applying the Crossface), thus making the susceptible to the Crossface. At least, that's the way I always saw it.
  9. Now you're on the trolley.
  10. I don't remember Katie in Playboy, either.

  12. Jordan is/was a big gambler. I'd heard that "reason" too, but I doubt anyone will ever come out & confirm it as 100% true. It's very conspiracy-laden, but it woudn't shock me if it was in fact true. So did he also kill his father for this plan to go through. He retired a VERY short time after his father died. VERY VERY short time. Thats the reason he left. I am not even a jordan fan and I don't buy into that crap. The other part of the rumor is that his father was killed because Jordan owed a bunch of money (or something related to Jordan's gambling). *That* part I don't buy. I'm skeptical on the retiring rumor, but, as I said, it wouldn't shock me.

  15. Akio Rey Nunzio Spike Knoble Moore London Kidman Chavo Ultimo Helms (no place on Raw) Funaki Scotty Matt Capotelli (sp?) There's no reason they couldn't run a competitive cruiser division to help bolster SD, and provide a match or 2 to help fill out the SD PPV's. They know ratings have been sliding, UPN already renewed the show, so what do they have to lose? Stick the cruisers in the beginning of the show, loosen the restrictions on how they can work, and see what happens. Best case scenario sees them gain some new (younger?) fans drawn in by the athleticism, and worst case ratings stay where they are. After moving Helms to SD, that would give SD 14 guys to use in the cruiser division (I'd move Tajiri back, but he just went to Raw). If they really wanted to go for it, they could tell Ultimo to bring a couple of his Toryumon (sp?) guys over to fill out the division. Of course, this is all just wishful thinking. They already view SD as a "B" show, and aren't really interested in improving the show outside of introducing EXTREME~! gimmicks, but they could do a lot worse than trying out a competitive cruiser division.
  16. Jordan is/was a big gambler. I'd heard that "reason" too, but I doubt anyone will ever come out & confirm it as 100% true. It's very conspiracy-laden, but it woudn't shock me if it was in fact true.
  17. Hardy, Knoble, Kidman (hey, no worse than Edge) could've stepped in and hung with the SD6 guys. It's a shame they didn't expand past those 6, because there were quite a few guys who could have held their own if mixed in.
  18. Doesn't mean he should be disparaged in the thread sub-title. For shame, CM Funk. For shame.
  19. Benoit, although I was *really* tempted to go "other: PALUMBO~!" since he actually made it on camera. And what's wrong w/ Conway? He's the talented Le Res member.
  20. Pretty ho-hum Raw, but multiple CHUCK PALUMBO~! appearances made it worthwhile.
  21. This is going to sound stupid but.....which one is Grenier? I STILL don't know the difference. Grenier has blonde hair. Conway has brown hair, and the knee brace, and the talent.
  22. Palumbo needs to restore order here.
  23. Agreed on Edge, but I think Chavo is a step above and Rey was far above these guys. Nah, Chavo isn't really that great. I'd put him on Christian's level. I'd have to agree w/ CC here, although I wouldn't put Chavo at the same level as Christian. I'd have Edge & Chavo as members 5 & 6 of the SD6, with the others being head & shoulders above them. Saying Rey was no better than Orton, X, Benjamin (who I like), or Edge is ridiculous. As for the "Raw 10", I wouldn't put Orton, Batista (who I like), Flair, or Christian on the same level as the SD6. Raw Edge cancels out SD Edge (although I'd give the edge to SD Edge), Benjamin is still learning, and HHH depends on if he wants to put in the effort (which, to his credit, he has since the draft). I'd give the edge to the SD6.
