Would it work logistically? --need to get a stadium --need to arrange travel schedules for 2 schools, not to mention lodging, etc. --need to print tickets --need to line up sponsors --on such short notice, how many fans/alumni/etc, will be able to attend? It's not like they know this type of situation will come up every year, so they can't have all these plans in place and end up not needing them.
