  1. I don't see what negative population growth has to do w/ it. It's not like gay couples would break up & get involved in heterosexual relationships if gay marriage was banned, or that heterosexuals would get involved in gay relationships if gay marriages were allowed.
  2. It's not sad considering Bush pretty much came out & said a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT might be needed to outlaw gay marriages. Shouldn't they be reserved for, y'know, *important* things?
  3. Last night's RW was pretty much a nothing show. Well, after the girls making out, of course.
  4. I think I know what point he was trying to get at. Let me re-word a few things: "It's like giving two people of the same gender a certificate to go marry, and allowing it because marriage is a habit along the same lines as having sex." Well, calling marriage a "habit" is still a head-scratcher (well, maybe it is for Joan Collins).
  5. I'm waiting for Tracer Bullet to join. I'm pretty sure we had a Stupendous Man at one point. Yep, Stupendous Man *wants to change his name to Tracer Bullet* That would be all kinds of cool.
  6. So, do we call it "1Joey" now?
  7. And I'm sure there's plenty of hetero couples that are lazy & unproductive. You're still not making any sense. Comparing benefits for gay couples to companies allowing smoke breaks? IT HELPS US CITIZENS!!! What's wrong w/ that?
  8. Huh? Benefits going to US Citizens = bad? Gay couples, I mean. Up until now I was all for gay marriage, but to give them full benefits would be unfair. It's like giving someone 15-minute breaks from work to go masturbate, and allowing it because masturbation is a habit along the same lines as smoking. Breaking taboo shouldn't change the law. WTF are you talking about?
  9. Huh? Benefits going to US Citizens = bad? And Rick Santorum couldn't stand up any quicker to applaud when Bush brought up the "defense of marriage" stuff.
  10. I've never seen anything in the way of fights/etc. at any Phillies or 76ers games I've been at. I've only been to a handful of Flyers games, but I"ve never seen anything there, either.
  11. Yes, yes I would.
  12. Well, she did have a boob job...
  13. I'm attending. I was hoping we'd get a Brock/Benoit match, but, alas, it was not meant to be... Eddy/Chavo, Rey/Knoble, and the Rumble should all be good -> great. Hopefully Brock ends up destroying Holly, which would be another plus.
  14. Well, if it's people I enjoy watching, I'll watch. If there's people I don't care about, I'll either change the channel, or roll my eyes & sigh to myself. I don't get as worked up about it as some other people. I won't ignore the entire show just because there's some stuff I don't like.
  15. But there's still people I *do* enjoy watching, that I *do* enjoy marking out for, that I *do* have nice things to say about.
  16. Hey, don't blame us because the product isn't as good as it should be, considering the amount of talent on the roster. But, hey, "it could be worse", right?
  17. It's 2 years! You'd think they'd want to squeeze as much money making possibilities out of him before he's gone, not bury him for 2 years.
  18. Yeah, I know, but I'm sick to death of people bashing the guy for no reason - and at the same time calling for RVD to be pushed. I just had to speak up. You want to defend Orton? Great. Just don't go waaaay overboard by telling us he's a great worker, with amazing charisma & mic skills, and heir apparent to Rock. Anybody with 2 functioning eyes can tell that's plainly not true at least at this point in his career.
  19. No, but it didn't get the insane rating a lot of people thought it would Didn't it get like a 4.0+ rating?
  20. Boy, you're going to get *killed* on this. Not necessarily by me, though. Orton a great worker? I'm not seeing it. Has he gotten better? Sure, I'll go with that. A little better (and learning), but it's better than nothing. But "great" worker? No. Amazing charisma? No. There's some charisma there, but he's still not connecting with the fans. Amazing promo ability? Again, no. He tends to trip over his words. He needs to clean that up, especially if they intend to push him as a ME'er. Natural successor to the Rock? I think you're reaching. I can't see 20,000+ people paying to see Randy Orton, nor can I see PPV buy-rates skyrocketing based on a Randy Orton ME. Again, he's not connecting with the fans, so it's really premature to be calling him the next Rock.
  21. If they let Lita within 50 yards of a live mic, they shouldn't have any problem letting Kanyon have promo time. There's no reason Kanyon shouldn't be a mid-card fixture on either show. He's got everything the WWE would want in a midcarder: good size, can wrestle, can talk, is comfortable on camera, great bumper, can do comedy, and has cool moves to pop the crowd.
  22. I half expected the crowd to start shouting "WHAT?" after every state that Deano ticked off. Dean: "And we'll go to Arkansas!" Crowd: "WHAT?" Dean: "Missouri!" Crowd: "WHAT?" Dean: "Ohio!" Crowd: "WHAT?" Dean: "Pennsylvania!" Crowd: "WHAT?"
  23. Grenier's been hurt, so it's just been Conway & Dupree. If they could get them away from the French gimmick, I'd have no problem with them being 1 of the top teams on Raw.
  24. Orton was brought in as a jobber and booked as one on SD He wasn't over then, either. They put him on Raw, gave him a "cool" gimmick (RNN), then made him 1 of HHH's running buddies. I'd say Orton got a bigger chance than London has.
  25. Whether you people like it or not, HHH is always gonna be around. He has a say in booking - so he'll have say in who's champ. I wouldn't be surprised, or mind, if HHH was still going in a few years. What about HBK & Undertaker? I can't see both of them still wrestling 5 years from now, but both still booked as strong top faces.
