  7. I've thought that for years!!! The Hollywood Blonds were so over despite getting no push from management. Imagine how different wrestling would be if the Blonds had become horsemen and after a major push, split with Austin and flair feuding? But no, we get the Dungeon of Doom and the Booty Man.....god I hate Hogan. No push from management? They were the tag champs for virtually all of their run. I meant more the fact that they were just thrown together and got over on their own abilities and ideas. I kind of view them the same as the New Age Outlaws when they first started getting over.

  11. I was at GAB95 as well (3rd row seats), had my Hollywood Blonds sign autographed by Pillman before the show. He acknowledged me twice. Once on the way to the ring he pointed to my sign and then when he got in the ring he gave me the old Blonds movie camera move.
  12. Two words......Hollywood Blonds Pillman and Austin were put together for no reason and were the most over team in WCW in years. They could talk, wrestle, and sell anything
  13. I would have loved to see the fued bewtween the Hollywood Blonds an the Horsemen develop in to a singles feud with Flair and Austin. Those would have been some classics. Also, Pillman and Austin feuding in the WWF before Pillman's death would have lead to some great stuff
  14. As someone stated earlier, the problem with a definining artist for this generation is the way this generation lives it's life. This is the generation that has grown up on the internet, IM, blogs and a steady diet of fast-paced, ever-changing interests and trends/fads. They've been programmed to love something and then discard it and move on to the next. Depending on point of view, does this generation have ADD or does it excel at "multi-tasking". Being a Gen-Xer, I was deemed as being lazy, a slacker, having general apathy and no real goals in life. However, today, Gen-Xers are looked at as innovative, risk-taking and unconventional. I'm convinced that my generation was defined by some great artists who produced some of the greatest albums of all time. These albums captured a distinct snapshot of society at that time. While some "good" albums have been released in the past 10 years, none have been what many would call "landmark" or "must have". No White Album, no Zeppelin IV, no Dark Side of the Moon, no Joshua Tree, no Nevermind. Artists do not define generations anymore, music executives do.
