I'll admit it, I was a big Triple H fan at one point. I have a poster in my room (which is still up) and a Wrestlemania 16 plaque that he autographed. When he came back from the injury more muscular, slower and putting on craptacular matches, I didn't stop liking him. Even after he got the title, I didn't stop liking him because with all of the fanfare he was receiving for his comeback, it was obvious he was going back to the top, deserved or not. The Hell in a Cell match with Jericho is what did it for me. Dames

What's toughest for me is remembering how I can relate to the situations that trigger my ire. Part of me wants to post it, but it's something quite personal and I don't want it to seem like I want the attention...as I've been accused of doing in the past. Dames

I'm not saying that what you did was wrong, simply irksome. In situations like this, I tend to re-read the rules to clarify what course of action to take, which I did before you even posted that. I'm just asking you guys to put yourselves in my shoes. How would you feel if you had a ton of people saying "Ban him, ban him Dames!"? It almost becomes a situation where you're balancing what's right and just against what the general public wants. Dames

Really? Ya could've fooled me, because Bisch has been in the company for a year and they have NEVER taken him seriously. It's not just you. This happens every time someone isn't in a RUSH to ban. Sometimes you have to take a step back and really think about things first, regardless as to how cut and dry they may seem. Dames

Guys...this has bothered me for quite some time, so let me address this quickly. In situations like this, when it's up to a moderator or admins discretion, it takes a moment to fully comprehend and absorb what is said in its full context before issuing a ruling or a banning or whatever. Keep in mind that I'm also at work and am not JUST on the board, reading everyone's comments as they happen. When people call out for a ban and throw my rules back at me, especially when it's just, it makes me come across as if I'm pandering to the general consensus. How many people reading this will then think to themselves, "Dames only banned GameCop because everyone told him to"? THAT is what bothers the shit out of me. The truth is, GameCop IS an idiot and he does merit banning for such a statement. I've known rape victims as well and this is a subject that is dear to me because of certain situations in my life. To say and believe something like that is simply so...STUPID that it actually breaks two rules. So, goodbye GameCop, have a nice life. If someone you hold dear to you is ever raped, I hope you're not the shoulder they decide to lean on or you might drive them into serious psychological trauma, moron. Dames

I wouldn't say that. Eddie Guerrero was in WCW while they were on top of the wrestling world and had a few reigns as their Cruiserweight Champion from 96 to 98. As many fans as Rey had when he came in to WWE, they most assuredly had seen Rey square off against Eddie quite a few times. The Radicalz were a big deal when they jumped BECAUSE people knew who they were. Dames

LOTC, I'm sure that Vince's treatment of Bischoff was more of a final blow to their rivalry than just a general "I hate WCW" burial. Eddie Guerrero was never in a position of power in WCW. Dames

Well, we'll have to see the numbers this week for the Kane segments to fairly see if people like what's going on. The bottom line is that Raw had more viewers than usual and their overrun hasn't been this high in quite some time. Dames

Rob, I wouldn't say that the Kane storyline isn't helping at all. Normally, the overrun never gets that high. When was the last time it was above a 5? Do you really think that people started flocking in droves for Stripperella? Dames

As excited and as optimistic as I tend to be, bear in mind that Survivor Series is in November and we are still in July. The big rumor was that Benoit was supposed to be getting a shot at the WWE Title at SummerSlam and he's nowhere near the title picture right now. Eddie may be over, but who's to say that he'll be able to maintain and increase his amount of heat in the next 4 months. Dames
