  1. I've heard Rock/Foley/Austin vs. Orton/Batista/Flair. I don't know, that could be damn entertaining. With all the "past" stars in one match and the interactions with Flair especially.
  2. They're not going to record a whole new commentary just for the DVD. And they have the Spanish announcers doing the SAP. Although they could do like what WCW did for World War 3 and throw between both announce team every couple of minutes.
  3. OMG, please tell me these matches are in their entirety? Hope you like screen blurring and clipped commentarry!

  5. Well, I have WGN at school but not at home. I don't think it's worth it because WGN isn't a national station. It only has clearences on some cable systems. Just as a sidenote, the Observer is saying that this with or against Jarrett storyline is expected to have something to do with the WGN deal.
  6. The main reason they need to leave the Fairgrounds has been mentioned by both the Torch and Observer and it's true: The crowd reactions. They simply don't react to anything anymore. They've become jaded. The dead crowd simply kills the atmoshphere of the show. They see it every week, about 2/3 crowd is papered so they're in for free, and there's just no more emotional interest in the matches. Thus, even if a match is good, there's no heat and it really takes away from it. Sometimes crowd reactions is the only differences between a decent and good match. The dirtsheets mention that TNA wrestlers are noticing it too and that they feel like no matter what they do anymore they can't get a reaction and it's like pulling teeth. TNA can't go on national tours like WWE, but it would serve them well to do like ECW and Ring Of Honor and at least do tours around the Northeast, wrestle in front of some new crowds that haven't been overexposed to the product live. They can still make the Fairgrounds their homebase, but it would only help if every couple weeks they do a show from Phillidelphia or Boston or New York for example. This would help their home crowd too, who after a week or 2 off should be more energized and motivated to cheer.
  7. I agree, I think expectations were just really high. Clip out the belt falling and it's a real good match. Remember, it was a totally new concept and I think they did good with it. One thing I like about TNA is they like coming up with new and unique gimmick matches which can create intrigue on their own.
  8. Thank god he's gone! I agree the TNA folder has been a little thin lately, but the product has been lackluster. I'd rather 1 or 2 new informative threads a day then 3 or 4 horrible fluff threads about "who TNA should sign!" Hopefully, a good number of people check out the X division show this week, and the best of show next week so a bigger crowd can get hyped for some new fresh storylines and matchups going for the new year.
  9. Being a compulsive TNA viewer I have all those matches. But, I would highly reccomend anyone who is not a regular watcher of TNA to spend a little of their Christmas money on this show. The matches are all excellent and shows you how good TNA can be when they deliver.
  10. It's like watching a mob movie!
  11. wouldn't it be better if the announcers said something about it, either in a positive or negative way? Or maybe even the GM's of the respective shows, bitching about the other "brand" advertising in their airtime??? No, when I watching Nitro, Tony Schiavone didn't rant about how the WWF sucks before one of their commercials came on promoting RAW during the break...hmmm kind of a bad example I guess...but you get the point. It's not usually during the middle of the show, it's usually during a commercial break, there's no discontinuity. And besides, even the dumbest of marks knows that RAW and Smackdown are still the same company owned by Vince (in fact, it's blatantly acknoledged) so there would be nothing strangeabout Vince wanting to promote both his shows.
  12. Bret used the sharpshooter after and during Sting was doing it at the same time in WCW. What's your point? As long as you're not in the same company it's fair game. Happens all the time. THe only reason Booker still used the bookend when he first came to the WWF was to further his feud with Rock. He stopped using it after.
  13. I don't see the problem with commercials for the other side's shows. In reality, the company obviously would be doing themselves a diservice NOT to promote their own shows, and in kayfabe, it can be assumed that the other brand bought the ad time. I used to see ads for WWF shows during Nitro and vice versa all the time.
  14. King: "...and Cheesy" lol, they still have some funny exchanges...
  15. I agree. It's too bad he's gone, and now when he shows up he's his old face self. Which is still good, but it can't touch Hollywoord Rock...
  16. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! I wish we could have 2003 heel Rock full time. It was so short, and now he's not around anymore and when he is, he's his old face self. God his character was so dynamic and entertaining. Anything he did was gold...
  17. Hulk will never die, neither will Vince. They'll still be here 100 years from now, trying to one up each other...
  18. Bret looks good! Good news that they said he has regained just about everything taken away by the stroke. Plus if that video was from several months ago he's probably doing even better.
  19. Do chicks also dig double posts?
  20. Lo Ki isn't getting it because he hasn't signed a contract and isn't reliable because of his Japan commitments. So he's out. I gotta believe this is when Michael Shane finally drops the belt, so I'm gonna rule him out too. It will be either Sabin or Daniels. The announcers have been mentioning how Daniels never won the X title, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Fallen Angel gets it to sort of give him some direction. Sabin can chase him I guess.
  21. So I guess if we made a thread where everyone is saying "terrorism is bad", you'd reply "terrorism is good" just to be different...
  22. And now it comes back to the idea that perhaps these testimonies of molestation may be completely false and may be attempts for fame, money, or just plain causing shit. Who know what the motives could be, but I believe that those should not be ruled out. And to add to my statement about money being a potential motive of the accuser, I say this: Yes, he may not be as rich as he was, but do you think the accusers would care? The accusers would want any last money he has and because of his potential Peter Pan Syndrome, he has got to be the easiest target for such an accusation. It's a CRIMINAL case. No money involved...
  23. The guy is arrested before he could hurt someone, and your response isn't "good thing, because people who drive while under the influence are idiots" it's our country is uptight and we're idiots because pot isn't legal. Are you sure we haven't met you before?
  24. Well, isn't that special? If the testimonies say he tinker belled the kids, his Peter Pan ass is off to the neverland jail...
