  1. <JR>There are no do-overs in the Royal Rumble!
  2. You know, I just thought of someone who would have worked better if it was one against Legacy. CM Punk. Even without Manu this time around, it's still the same three he had to deal with in the past.
  3. I guess Carlos and Carlito didn't want any of that. I see Primo got bumped from the Rumble. If that made room for Hacksaw, that works for me! I'm not sure if Carlito was ever chokeslammed by Taker in a Rumble. Carlos' one Rumble he was in way after Taker was (illegally) eliminated...but he had Yokozuna.
  4. Well, I finally got my Jericho/Undertaker confrintation. Still would like to see those two have a 1 on 1 match sometime. Interesting note: I believe this is the first time that a father and a son have both been chokeslammed by the Undertaker in a Royal Rumble match (Ted Sr. in 1993, Ted Jr. tonight)
  5. Matt was ECW Champion, living the high life...but then everyone focuses on Jeff becoming WWE Champion, everyone ignores Matt. Matt's jealousy of Jeff, ala Owen's of Bret, consumes him.
  6. Does the Announce Table count?
  7. I wonder if a Vickie "EXCUSE ME!" shirt would sell... ...probably not.
  8. No...but I'm wondering if Warrior being in the game betters Savage's chances of being in it. I hope he's in. Rewrite the end of WrestleMania V.
  9. Does Warrior being in the game better Randy Savage's chances of being in or no?
  10. Or he just didn't hear a count, so he didn't need a reason to lift his arm up or anything.
  11. I'm still twisted enough to want Beth, still wanting to prove herself as the best, entering herself into the Royal Rumble.
  12. I think it's suppossed to be from somewhere between early to Mid 94 and mid 97, because he has the "broken heart" style tights and not the "cow print" style tights.
  13. Cool, Old School Shawn in the game. This betters the chance for Old School Undertaker in it as well...which also hopefully means Paul Bearer as a manager.
  14. I think, if they wanted, they could make the DDT into a credible finisher again. Hell, a few years ago they made the Full Nelson a finisher after so long by giving it the name "The Master Lock"...
  15. Well, good thing the unpredictability of #1 and #2 are back again. Also, Venkman, I'm not sure about that idea of Dusty and Bob Orton being in the Rumble. ...then again, Snuka and Piper were in last year, so who knows. Though personally, for comedy in the Rumble, I'd still like to see Boogeyman in it.
  16. He also said during the Khali/Chavo match that Chavo was in the Rumble match.
  17. Unless I missed something from missing the first 20 minutes of Smackdown, I didn't hear anything about Triple H being #1 if he lost. Maybe they changed their minds on that?
  18. I just find it funny that they played his leaving WWF by having him lose to pre-Gillberg Duane Gill.
  19. I think he's promoting it for association since it won Golden Globes.
  20. I kinda preferred the WWE nWo Entrance...where they make everything go black and white after having the "film break" effect.
  21. Oh, and a newer for this wrestler finisher that I've been growing to like: The Undertaker's submission...which as of this Smackdown is being called the Devil's Gate. (Also called the Devil's Triangle, Hell's Gate and "That Deadly Submission Hold!")
  22. For tag finisher, can't go wrong with the 3D. I mean, the thing was sold as DEATH in ECW. EDIT: Also, how can you NOT include the finisher that you're named after! The Diamond Dust, IMO, was an improved version of the Stunner/Cutter/RKO.
  23. I'd mark for an Edge/Haas match where Haas comes through the crowd like "G1" Edge.
  24. And Tazz, who while didn't do much for the in-ring side of things, provided a new and fresh (at the time) voice to the commentarry table.
  25. Well, as bad as Buffer can be... 1)At least at the 08 Rumble, he got all the pronunciations right. (No "Bret Clark" incidents...though not saying the name "Shawn Michaels" was bad) and 2)He didn't do what a voiceover for a houseshow in Wildwood did a few years ago...prounounce the name Cena with a short vowel sound (like the e vowel) insted of a long vowel sound (like how Cena's last name REALLY is pronounced)
