I know this is probably an impossibility, but I would LOVE for WWE to pull a swerve, have Tommy Dreamer win the Royal Rumble, then challenge for the ECW title at WrestleMania.
-
I wish they'd release the downloadable content...well, first on 360...then a little bit faster. By now, IMO, we should have had at least Primo Colon and Jack Swagger as DLC.

TSM Profile: "Macho Man" Randy Savage
ChrisMWaters replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
I never did get why Savage would use "Pomp & Circumstance" as his entrance music. It's tarnished an entire generation...a good portion of my classmates went "OOOOOOOH YEEAAAAAAH!" when that cued up at our gradutation. -
ZOMG LEZNAR & LASHLY RETURN @ THE RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though...that's one thing I miss about having 2 brands only...it was easy for the Rumble: 15 from Raw, 15 from Smackdown.

OK...looked on obsessedwithwrestling.com: I can see some resemblence to the current Ted when there's no beard.
-
Hey, I like that idea for the group. Cody and Ted look nothing like their fathers. Both look like a distant cousin to Orton. I wish I still had the "Hulk Still Rules" DVD so I could see if Ted Jr. looks like his dad sans beard. ...or maybe someone could edit a Ted Jr. picture with him with a beard to see how close he'd look to his dad.

Why can I picture now after this match Shawn getting added by Vince into the World Title match?

TSM Talks (to the voices in their head): The Legacy
ChrisMWaters replied to Promoter's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm just worried that, if they do a Smith turning face and Orton feuding with him thing, we have Orton saying to Smith the same thing he said to Rey about Eddie in their No Way Out 06 build up. -
Last I heard he runs his own company, Michinoku Pro, in Japan. That was a few years ago.
-
We'd get the explaination years later. 44 seconds in is the answer.

Shouldn't Miz and Morrison be on the list due to them both saying they were going to win they Rumble on their Dirt Sheet a week or two ago?

WWE General Discussion - January 2009

You knew this was coming, and I don't have any issue with it. I wonder what the STFU will be switched to - If we're really lucky he might just drop it from his repertoire. What came first with Cena regarding the STF - The move or the name of the move? The move. Cena was in a submission Triple Threat or Handicap (don't remember which) against Kurt Angle and Chris Masters. He debuted the move that match, before it got named the next week. -
TSM Talks (to the voices in their head): The Legacy

Exactly. It reminds me of when I read that Bret Hart magazine that WWE released a few years ago...Bret was going to be cut before the idea of teaming him with Neidhart happened. The rest is history. -
Millennium: Hey, Action Zone had the first Barry Horowitz win. As for the 95 Rumble...as this is the first Royal Rumble I ever saw, I didn't know better and enjoyed it. Looking in retrospect...yeah, not as good as a good majority of them. Though I always get a laugh at how Luger eliminates Mabel. And Lawler's line about Cornette being high on Mantaur...cause I always think "No, he just must be high for WANTING to manage Mantaur"

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

We had that a few years ago at a Survivor Series, didn't we? -
Just have to ask, who here was no good at all at fighting games when they were younger, but has gotten better? I remember I rented Mortal Kombat on Sega CD (yeah, yeah...I know, Sega CD sucks and all. ) and the only moves I could do were Scorpion's spear and Raiden's flying tackle. Nowadays I could probably get all the moves and such with a little bit of practice. And I also find it ironic I restumble upon this thread after finding out about, of all things, a SAILOR MOON fighting game that was released a few years back during the Saturn days.

Well, you gave your email address to the good folks at wwe.com, the official fansite of a company that doesn't fuck around when it comes to promoting any product bearing their namesake. Just be glad that they aren't promoting The Marine again. YET. There's suppossedly a sequel starring Ted DiBiase Jr. coming out. -

It could have worked in a way that Kozlov would say he doesn't need frills like music or a video. He just needs to go out there and plow through people. My view on that subject, anyway. -
Regal looks stoned out of his mind in that picture, to me.

I have to ask, since Kozlov was brought up via that PPV poster... Am I the only one here who preferred when Kozlov came out with no entrance music, video, or anything like that? -
The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

The problem is that nobody would buy Jericho beating the Undertaker. Regardless of how he was pushed last year, people would still be like "It's Jericho, there's no way he's gonna win this". Perhaps, but as long as they didn't go too cliche with how they built it up, it'd still be a fun feud, IMO. Plus, like I said, I don't think those two have ever gone one on one in amatch before. So I wonder how they would work with each other. -

All this talk about Michaels/Undertaker... I'd still rather have a Jericho/Undertaker feud. For a few reasons. 1)I don't believe those two have ever even had a 1 on 1 match wtih each other, at least not on TV. 2)With Jericho being named "Superstar of the Year", and then coming out on Raw a few weeks ago saying he wouldn't wrestle unless it was quality talent, I could see him thinking that Taker at WrestleMania would equal quality. 3)Jericho's character enjoys accolades he can gloat about...so the Taker streak would be a choice thing to go after (kinda like why Randy Orton went after Taker at Mania 21) -
Now if only Andre has an alternate attire where he's dressed like Fezzik from "The Princess Bride"
-
I can't wait to see what Jericho has to say next Raw about his elimination.
-
So... Manu to Smackdown to team with Umaga? If Carlito & Primo survive Zeke/Kendrick, I could see a Colons/Samoans feud.
