Take your pick between Heroes of Wrestling or WOW. WOW Unleashed > Heroes of Wrestling. For the sole reason that Bobby "The Brain" Heenan was a commentator on it. I'll go Heroes of Wrestling > WOW just because Jake Roberts broke his own scale. I've seen footage of it and it was about 2.33 on the Jake Roberts scale. Eh, that's why I WOULDN'T go for HOW over WOW. Robert's pissing away what legacy he had faster than he could flush his own vomit down the toilet.

The way the nWo theme sounds, I would NOT be surprised one bit.

OK, reason 2 then: Some of us, like me, don't know where or how to get to this chatroom.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
ChrisMWaters replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Well, if I remember correctly, they did call him Trillionare Ted for a while. Here's what I'm wondering...why, near the last legs of WCW, did Sting get to switch themes from the cool, dark, somber music he was using from Starrcade 97 to "Seek And Destroy"? -
What about Goldberg's theme? Or is that another example of WCW using stock music? Well The nWo music is the one that comes to my mind the quickest, the rest I have to think about for a few minutes. Ah, OK. For the record, here's a couple of themes WCW used that I liked that didn't seem like rip offs to me. - nWo Theme, as you mentioned - Goldberg's theme - Wolfpack Theme (hey, I liked bouncing to it) - Rey Misterio's first WCW theme (I remember humming that in a Summer Camp) - Sting's first Crow theme. - "Man They Call Sting" And even though it sorta is a rip off... - American Made.
-
...because not even the Heat pre-show has started?
-
By the way, I have been watching the ECW DVD too much recently. I'm picturing ECW using this as a PPV name back when they were around, and Joey Styles making mention of the date and such for it.

Well, it's not really a rip-off...but I remember Sting in the final days of WCW using Seek and Destroy for some reason. Which is a shame, cause I liked the dark, moody Sting theme that he used at first in the Crow Sting era.

For me too, this is the first PPV I've ordered since Mania XIX. However, had I not been AT the events, I probably would have ordered Rumble 04 and Mania XX.
-
That could be a possibility. But if they did ever decide to do that, I could see them doing it like one of those Time Life, Gunthy-Renker type of deals...where you get part one of a series of videos...then you view it, and every month or two, you'd get the next in the series...keep only the ones you want, cancel anytime. That kind of thing.
-
I would like to see them make a DVD SERIES like that: Greatest Wrestling Feuds. If not DVD then at the very least on the WWE 24/7 channel that they have.
-
Back in the day, they did release a video of this, I believe.
-
You know, I just realized something about this PPV. It's got only one less match than WrestleMania XI
-
And utterly ruin the first time I've ever started a PPV thread. Thanks a lot.
-
So THAT'S where Sid got the idea for his win streak back in WCW!
-
And no one here thinks that Trish and Lita could pull out a match like the one they had when Lita won the title?
-
I know he's (HHH) is probably going to win, yes. But I would LOVE to see the reaction here if someone OTHER than Triple H won the match.
-
There's no Undertaker/Gonzales match. That's already a plus to it.
-
I'm ordering it because it's the first PPV that I can order due to the fact I finally have a digital box in my room. I'm thinking of ordering all the PPVs this year, just so I can say I did.
-
Whew...I think that worked. Anyway, I actually ordered the show...since I now have the ability to do so and I'm on vacation to watch it. So, let's see how well this show does.
-
I'm already dreaming of Techno beats of the Super Mario Bros. Overworld, Underground, and Starman themes. ...maybe they'll use the Dr. Mario theme too.
-
i was gonna make a crack about "The Second Coming" being his finisher... Actually...maybe Val Venis should have that finisher. Wasn't that Dustin Runnels' finisher back in WWF when he was doing the "He Is Coming Back" schtick before he became Goldust again?

Are you in Canada or America? America. South New Jersey, hence I get the Philly feed. ...huh, ECW chant for Candido.
