  1. I do agree that it should be a mixture of the three. For non title matches, introduce as they come to the ring. For lower title matches, do the Japanese intros (introduce as they're in the ring) For Main Events (especially World Title Matches), Michael Buffer (as long as he gets the name right and we don't have another Bret Clark) introing them...either as they're coming to the ring or while they're in the ring.

  3. And what exactly would be Jericho's motivation to give HHH a World Title shot? Rematch Clause. Ok. Bob Backlund should come back tonight and say he never did get his rematch..the clause is still active. I'd piss myself. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE WWE! Wrong title belt though. He'd have to do that on Smackdown. Smackdown has a world title? Just because it isn't called it doesn't mean the WWE Title isn't a World Title. I still consider it the REAL World's Title, despite who has held it.

  5. Well, since this thread popped up and mentioned the possibility of TNA folding... What would happen with the NWA World and Tag Team Titles afterwards? ...and also, the X-Division title? Would they unify it with the other "X Titles" in the other sects of the NWA?
  6. OK, having watched the most recent episode of IMPACT for TNA got me thinking... What is your favorite style of ring introduction? You like when the person's name, weight, and such is announced while they're coming to the ring? The overly done Michael Buffer introductions with all the weird talking... Or the NWA/ECW style, where they're not "introduced" until both competitors are in the ring and the music has died out? For me, at least for World Title matches, the second two seem the best to me. But maybe that's just me.
  7. Well, reading that Triple X lost their match, a thought. Only Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper were in that match. The odd (possibly former) Triple X member out in the match might not be affected by this. So, there's still a possibility of a Daniels/Lo-Ki Triple X or a Skipper/Lo-Ki Triple X. And the odd man out from that could be in the X-Division to give Williams a challenger.
  8. Or, at the very least, need to be made to seem more important. Like, insted of Armaggedon...how about WWE Presents Starrcade 2005!
  9. I just wonder... Why do I have this strange feeling in my gut that there's going to be a re-match in the very near future between McMahon and Bischoff. ...say, at Wrestlemania, perhaps.
  10. Just wait until Gene Snitsky & another tall hoss team up to be The New Twin Towers. /shudders that the WWE might be reading this post. I doubt that even WWE would be THAT tasteless. Very slim doubt, but I still doubt. New Colossal Connection, maybe.
  11. Well, when is Slaughter's next annual (or bi-annual) wrestling appearance suppossed to be?
  12. Well, there are a few managers that pop up every now and then. Paul Bearer this past year... the new Arab guy. Paul Heyman Rico for a while. I'd personally rather see Spike Dudley as the manager for the Dudley Boyz nowadays...
  13. I think the reason you don't see black men have a Crimson Mask that often is because the darkness of their skin will reduce the effect of the red of the blood. That's just my thought on the situation. ...of course, they could easily prove me wrong in the near future and have Shelton Benjamin get a crimson mask.
  14. Kidman = HHH's favorite cruiserweight...you know, aside from X-Pac? I thought Tajiri was...since he can actually BEAT UP ON Tajiri.
  15. Well, at least Chavo for the most part is selling the arm work.
  16. NWA style wrestling! ...and I mean OLD NWA.
  17. Rude was more consistent in the ring and could actually cut promos. Kidman almost falls on his face! Maybe, but I'm just remembering that. Interesting note...I'm remembering that right now about the 1988 Royal Rumble which actually had a match between Steamboat and Rude.
  18. Well, we go from Paul "The Dragon" London to "Ravishing" Billy Kidman.
  19. Did a young Steamboat have that hair? Not AS long, but he did, I believe. ...he also had a beard though. I know this from the Ultimate Ric Flair collection.
  20. Well let's see...how many hours difference is it from East Coast America to Japan?
  21. And I still say Paul London looks like a young Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Am I the only one in that boat?
  22. Vince owns the footage so he can do whatever he wants with it. Dale Gagner's AWA has NOTHING to do with Gagne's AWA. Even though Gagner likes to blow smoke out of his ass to say that it does. The AWA's last match as the Turkey on a Pole match where Colonel DeBeers lost. Vince McMahon owns the true AWA and Dale Gagner can take his fake AWA and shove it up his ass. Actually the AWA was still putting on shows AFTER the Turkey Match...they just were held in front of like 5 people. Plus titlehistory pages (www.solie.org/titlehistories/index.html) say that AWA's title history is the same through the two versions.
  23. Damn...London almost got Sabu-ed there.
  24. I would like to see that too. ...it's sad...if this was WCW's cruiserweight division, there's a good chance both of these guys could have been Cruiserweight Champion by now.
