  1. I don't think Warrior would have demanded the belt. You never know. Rumors are that when he was asked to join ECW, he would agree only if he got to have a shoot fight with one of the wrestlers, and if he was standing after 30 seconds he'd get ownership of the compnany. He said that as a joke after Heyman told him if he wanted to come in he would have to put over Taz or Spike Dudley in 30 seconds. Are we ABSOULTELY sure that he was joking about that. I mean, this IS the master of "Destrucity" here...the guy who made a comic where he molested Santa...

Back on topic though...I have to wonder if Hogan coming in to replace Savage is really that bad of an option now... ...that's scary to think of...NWA World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan. ...course, back in the late 80's/early 90's...WWF Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair would have been just as bizarre until it happened.
  3. 90% of the TNA roster is better than Jarrett as a choice for NWA World Champion. Heck, Erik Watts could be a better choice.
  4. Or, for the 1990 Rumble: "And now, introducing first...the man...who last year drew number 30...and this year drew number 1..."
  5. First off...thank you for saying that I'm consistant. However, there's one problem with my consistancy: I tend to wait until the day of the event to write. ^^; Secondly...well, I've TRIED to write matches where he wins clean (one the match against you last PPV, and the other was (mostly) the one against Sacred), but I end up losing those bouts. And it looks like this match coming up at Storm will be as clean as possible for me. ...oh, and one more thing for the consistancy: I think I only No Showed 2 or 3 matches: one I was tagging with The Masked Man...one was unescapable due to computer problems against Manson at Genesis...and the Women's Title match this past PPV.
  6. Good question, but here's his bio... http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/sc...tty/profile.jsp
  7. From February 5. 1988 (where Andre handed the belt to DiBiase, causing the vacating of the title) to March 27, 1988 (where Savage won the tournament)
  8. OK...another NWA and/or TNA question: WHy don't we see the other "World" level NWA titles being showcased on TNA programming? Like...the World Women's Champion, for example.
  9. Not necessarily. They could play how JBL didn't want to help Ron get re-hired after the loss to Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty. And it could be JBL's post WWE title feud. JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD VS. FAAROOQ AT WRESTLEMANIA XXI!
  10. They've done it before. They went two months in 1998 with no WWF Champion. The title was vacent for a month after "This Tuesday in Texas" to the 1992 Royal Rumble as well.
  11. What about Slaughter?
  12. For a n00b like me to SWF...what's the Clusterfuck match?
  13. Let's see if you're right: LEGIT SHOT: Ric Flair Hulk Hogan Undertaker Randy Savage Sgt. Slaughter (?) Ted DiBiase (he was robbed if you ask me) Roddy Piper Jake Roberts (Did a heel turn shortly before, IIRC) Sid Justice (might be in Good Shot too) GOOD SHOT: Bulldog Shawn Michaels (good "Dark Horse" winner) Tito Santana (he was just repackaged) Texas Tornado Greg Valentine (just did a face turn shortly before, IIRC) Big Bossman "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan Rick Martel (he did last very long the previous year) NO SHOT: Jerry Sags Repo Man Skinner IRS Berzerker Haku Barbarian Hercules "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka (wasn't that big a threat in 1992, I believe) Virgil (even with winning the Million Dollar Championship) Col. Mustafa Warlord Nikolai Volkoff
  14. Except this time, The Rock wasn't the referee for the match.
  15. Even when Harvey Whippleman did them?
  16. Or WWE in general... ...like, they give Simmons his old WCW theme.
  17. If Simmons is back, he should cost JBL the WWE Title.
  18. TNA doesn't own the NWA titles; the NWA Board of Directors does. I'd assume they would have Jarrett drop the title at an NWA Florida show or something like that, then book it their own way like they always did. OK...that's true about the NWA World Titles. But what about the X-Division title? There are a bunch of other X-Titles out there. For the record there's the following other "X-Titles" out there in NWA: - NWA Florida X Championship - NWA Mid-American X Championship - NWA Mid-West X Championship - NWA New England X Championship - NWA Oklahoma X Championship - NWA Tri-State X Championship SOURCE: http://nwawrestling.com/superstars/rollcall/ Those X-Titles listed are owned/operated by the individual promotions, not by the NWA. The BoD has no booking control over those titles; they only control World-level titles. However, it's been made clear in storylines and in real life that the TNA X-Title is the most prestigious of the X-Titles. Like all the World-level titles, the X Title cannot change hands outside of TNA. Therefore, I think the BoD would control the TNA X-Title as well. Could they then unify it with some of the other X-Titles you described? I don't know, but it would make sense. They might as well unify the x-Division titles together into one "World X-Division Championship" Except for the name at the top, they all look the same as the TNA one.

  20. ...he looks about the same size as he did in WWF, to me anyway. And this comes from me watching him on old Royal Rumbles. I thinkeveryone says he looks skinny cause they're comparing him from his later days in WCW. EDIT: Though he does need to trim the beard.
  21. OK, but what about TNA's version of the X-Division title? Would that be unified with the other X-Division titles out there in NWA? For the record there's the following other "X-Titles" out there in NWA: - NWA Florida X Championship - NWA Mid-American X Championship - NWA Mid-West X Championship - NWA New England X Championship - NWA Oklahoma X Championship - NWA Tri-State X Championship SOURCE: http://nwawrestling.com/superstars/rollcall/
  22. OK, I posted these two thoughts and questions into other threads, but since I got no reply to them there, I'm going to post them both here now. First: Since only Elix Skipper and Christopher Daniels were in that cage match at Turning Point, is it feasible enough for a Triple X to still exist with either a combination of Skipper and Lo-Ki or Daniels and Lo-Ki? Second: With the rumors about WWE about to sue TNA...if they are successful and TNA is forced to fold, what would happen to the titles of TNA? I'm sure that the NWA World and World Tag titles would be fine, as they lasted since they were first made. But what about the TNA X-Division title? Would it be unified with the other X Titles that are floating around in the other sects of the NWA? Thanks in advance for your answers.
  23. Well, turned in my match. 5,467 words. Here's hoping that's enough to take down Carnage.
  24. Even if you can't hear most of them due to the fact that Tenay won't shut up for them.
  25. I'm thinking that HHH may not win back the title tonight. After all, "Blade: Trinity" is coming out very soon (if it's not already out, I don't remember), and he may want to do promotional tours about the movie. Sure, he wasn't THAT major a character in the movie, but he still might want to help promote the movie.
