The point is, I originally asked for it to just end. And now it continues because you've decided the people who post here have no lives while you've sold out local high school gym with the Honky Donkey Man, thus showing us all why we're idiots and your friends hate you for being right all the time. WELL DONE, SIR. The worst part of all is you've already been spoken to and corrected about this sort of behaviour, mellowed out for a week, were very cordial with me in some message exchanges, and now you're at it again. This is not the "NOAH IS ALWAYS RIGHT" forum. Maybe you should consider starting a blog and typing TO everyone since you don't really seem to want to talk WITH anyone.

Pretty sure I said "move on". Can't really hold Canadian Destroyer at fault since he seemed to just be making a rational comment, but then we had to go telling people to get a life, didn't we Noah?
-
We should just move on for now.

I only watched a bit but yeah, seeing her drinking and making fun of the meal her family prepared for her was great.

This is incredibly irrelevant to internet discussion. By the way, I have 2 degrees, a PhD, and I drew 10,000 fans to an indy show in 2005 by having Bret Hart do an autograph signing during intermission, so everyone listen to me, ok?

The "Vent about not having Program X on 24/7" Thread
DrVenkman PhD replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in WWE Multimedia
Odd. Like I said, everything has been fine with Cogeco here and they even re-named WWE 24/7 to the new "Classics" deal (and removed the green (sports) highlight from the guide listing). That said, their update of TMN and MPIX OnDemand was DREADFUL today so I'm not holding my breath for a great update tonight. -
WWE 24/7 Classics OnDemand General Discussion

I would imagine the first 3 things mentioned are Shorties. Also, Shorties absolutely NEEDS to be hosted by Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz. -

If you read the summarized F4W notes, you'll see Alvarez brought up the possibility of Shawn calling it a day. -
This is sort of "double dipping" but it was relevant to both TNA and WWE. Anyhow, as mentioned in the WWE folder's version of this thread, a premium news update today indicates Foley will be making an announcement tomorrow confirming his deal with TNA (currently believed to only be short term, though what this encompasses is expected to be expanded on tomorrow). He can start imminently.

Premium Foley News: Mick will be releasing a statement tomorrow regarding his signing with TNA. Meltz also expects Foley to thanks the WWE. His deal with TNA is believed to be "short-term" (and he can start imminently) and his statement tomorrow should expand upon his deal. -
Super news out of Tuesday's F4Wonline.com's daily update:
-
Honky Donkey Man is going to beat him for the title at Mania.
-
5 seconds playing Mario RPG with the Cube controller and it became really obvious that I need a Classic Controller for my VC games.

I did that learn that rather quick. Actually, a cool thing I noted about the board's top half recently was Dave was around answering questions and starting discussion topics. -
I think Andrew likes it too.
-
Super Nintendo Chalmers was an awesome name.
-
I wasn't using that to dump on Midway. I like that game.

WWE General Discussion - September 2008

A bad opener sets a bad tempo. -
Spoilers are available in some other thread.
-
That's a fair point (though you're forgetting about the Midway arcade classic, WrestleMania: The Arcade Game), but it doesn't mean people should run out and buy a crappy game because it's a "first attempt, so we'll let it slide".

WWE General Discussion - September 2008

WWE.com announced Michelle vs. Maryse for the Divas title at Unforgiven. Yikes. -
See the WWE folder for the deal on this. F4W~! - September 2, 2008: A note from a Canadian about the upcoming PPV: "Just letting you know that I am attending the next TNA PPV in Oshawa, Ontario. It is clearly not Toronto, in fact you are lucky if you arrive their after a one to one-and-a-half hour drive on the highway. The marketing has been horrible, tickets are only available at the official Oshawa Arena website and no one has any clue they are coming." [Personal note: As an Ontarian, the build-up of this PPV as being "in Toronto" (even when they SAY Oshawa) has annoyed me a great deal, so good to see someone else complaining about it] TNA Video Game: See the Video Game folder for details, though Bryan thinks it may be a good sign that a poster was up at a game store and it was suggested they should pre-order this. He acknowledges this could be a work, though [and I imagine a few people will e-mail him to confirm this aspect of working in a gaming store]. Raven Lawsuit: So how would TNA manage to do all the expensive changes that would be required if Raven et all eventually wins their suit? TNA would likely have to run an Indy business model meaning all the TNA guys would work elsewhere if they wanted. Tomko: He's not back (yet), just needed a payday since WWE didn't seem to want him and Inoki cancelled some of his Japan dates. Konnan Lawsuit: Goes to court October 26, 2009. If both sides hold out that long.

More notes on the game courtesy of the F4W Newsletter: "The story mode is ten hours long, which apparently is considered very short (actually, 12 is considered short and 20 is "solid"). They left blood out of the game so they could market to kids. There are no rope breaks in the game because the developers didn't know what rope breaks were if you can even believe that. There are no referees in the game. Well, at least that's realistic since there may as well be no referees in TNA since they're all so damn incompetent. The Wii version has been delayed and will not support online play or downloadable content. It's believed the PS2 version will ship on time, but it also will have no online play or downloadable content. You will not be able to upload your own music for theme songs. Our source wasn't positive but believed that the maximum number of wrestlers that could be on screen at any one time was four, and that TNA/Midway wasn't releasing this info prior to release because it was rather embarrassing. That's the other reason there are no referees, because they apparently couldn't animate one ref and four other wrestlers at the same time. Our source concluded: "This game is DOA, and the more they actually talk and let people know what is in the game the more they bury it".
