It's been established since like, Wednesday at the latest that only the winner gets recognized as champion. Why is this still going on?

WebMD is pretty vague. Having "CFIDS" (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) has nothing to do with anything other than the fatigue issue I selected, but it makes the cut anyway.

I received an e-mail stating "See The Rocker and Free Jenna Fischer". Is she being held captive unless the movie makes some money? I don't understand. I was polling my friends on what movie to see on Tuesday and already forgot Rocker was out. I suspect we'll go to Death Race (for no real reason other than it looking like the best of the new releases) or nothing.

Yes. I'd call it "Theme for Female Gremlin in Gremlins 2", but I don't want to sound uncultured to classical music.

WWE 24/7 Classics OnDemand General Discussion
DrVenkman PhD replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in WWE Multimedia
Was anyone here a subscriber during that month (I'm assuming it's September 2005). I'm curious what the "10 Years of WCW" deal was. Wow, I wish I was a subscriber during THIS period: And I thought February 07 and 08 had weak themes. -
Makes sense. I'm pretty sure one of the PTWs I received on tape (because we didn't get the show in Canada so my cousin received them from friends of the family in Michigan) from 1992 still had a house show match, but it was from MSG (Snuka vs. New Heel Michaels, who I recall having some funky almost-Narcissist like music).

This thread is about a "who", not a "what". Come on guys, get your slander on. Release the venom.

Where'd you find this? It looks kinda fake Well, like the URL says, it's from wikipedia. The person that put it there took it from WWEaffiliates.com. It's always legit there, brother.

With their massive video library, they should easily be able to make quite the comprehensive documentary about Jericho's travels through ECW, SMW, WCW, and WWE with a respectable matchlist. Angle was a guy who's DVD cancellation back in 2004 or so did not bother me. His best stuff is on PPVs (which at the time I was buying them all) and because his entire pro-career (that they own) took place in WWE, it's not like they have some exciting rare footage of him or something.

I think in some pre-PPV episodes Monsoon is decked out in an event hat. I like how the set is now gradually showcasing merchandise... based on episodes I've seen from 1989 (SummerSlam special, Christmas special) that set starts looking like a big display case. On the note of Prime Time's future, when did it become the "it" show. I mean, I realize that the main angles happened on the syndies right up until Raw, but I know there's a time in the future where PTW showcased the name vs. name matches from the TV tapings. Granted, these are names like Haku vs. El Matador, but I used to have a tape showcasing SummerSlam 92 dark matches. You also see the Prime Time banner in some mid-90s build-up packages, showing matches like Bret Hart vs. Ric Martel for the IC title. I guess my question is, when does PTW stop plucking matches from televised house shows (mixed in with Syndie squashes) and become complete "TV taping" showcase?

James Earl Jones too busy not working to provide his voice? Also, though I blame myself and not the game, I couldn't control objects I force-pulled very well. I'd want to chuck a tie-fighter or large piece of metal at some jerks but it would go backwards.

The Kentucky Fried Siblings. The Louisville Loonies. Los Hermanos De Morono. I don't think any of those are really landing, but you get the idea.

We had some discussion about her when Gail almost won a probably rigged magazine cover contest.

Happy Birthday to bps21! -
The 1990 DVD has footage of the 200 POUND SEWER RAT~! uncovered and Damien taking a shower. I swear that's not on the Coliseum version... I think I'd remember such a thing.

La Felina was awesome.

As is usually the case, the slanderous page I happened to find was edited, but here's the best part: "Reverting possible vandalism", and it still lists her as "SULT [?] Champion". http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=...oldid=233487044 would be the entry I read.

It was technically because she was too old (you know, in her 30s!). If she looked that way and was younger it would have slid. Wikipedia also says she smells bad and had relations with all the men in the WWE.

The above must have been an oversight because it's in full effect for the recap packages for SummerSlam 89. If you weren't looking for it you might not even notice it, but since I WAS looking for it I couldn't help but notice that any video package that recapped a Superstars happening had a sky blue chyron that matched nothing else shown. I like watching the show highlights on the menu screen too... it's kind of like watching those post-PPV videos they used to do (and still do for Mania). "Fight" did synch up with 88 or 89 (the video loops back to the beginning while the song still goes), but man, it synchs GREAT with the 90 menu. Really good. This is also probably very sad that I look for that sort of thing (and look forward to seeing if it synchs up for 91-2007) but it's who I am. I'm happy they seemed to get rights to a lot of music back (I recall hearing Demolition's theme was a no-go for the Mania DVD set, for example, but it's here for all to hear) but it is a bit of a shame they got the rights to the SummerSlam 88/89 theme for these shows but didn't get it for the Rumble set (and I've always associated that theme with the Rumble). Because they had to dub over that theme, the classic 91 and 92 Rumble openings with Vince yelling everyone's name now has Generic Guy (who I think also does voice over work for 24/7 such as Fake Gary Cappetta) doing it. It's just not the same.

Yeah, by "officially" I meant internally. Like, it appeared as "IYH #4" on a PYBO poll awhile ago, perhaps last year when they did Flight 24/7. Wikipedia has names listed for all of them but who knows where they come from. When these shows were released on tape they had another name entirely (this was "Winter Combat" and included some of December's show). Apparently IYH 2 was "The Lumberjacks". This is the alleged Diesel bitch-out show. Someone mentioned Bret Hart confirmed it in his book but I don't recall reading it, possible though. The first version of the story I heard was Vince got pissed during the match and called an audible but (though I admit I got so bored I HAD to FF it) I didn't see anything like that happen.
-
Vince does make a point of yelling "GREAT WHITE NORTH!" at some point on commentary but yeah, I believe offically it was known as "In Your House 4".
-
There have also been multiple comments on various house shows and Prime Time episodes about wrestlers training at the Terry Garvin and Pat Patterson School of Wrestling or things of that nature.

Adamle training for a match AND an announcement that Steve Austin is making an appearance at Cyber Sunday coming out at the same time... wonder if they're finally doing their Coach/Austin match (with Adamle in Coach's place). Vote for Verbal Debate.
