Didn't think I'd see Benoit in that hold post neck-surgery.

I turned the other way to do something on the computer and heard Josh say "Dragon Suplex!". Damnit!

Jake would be good and I could see that one happening this year. I hope the Warrior rumour pans out this year.

"Meltzer Loves This!" Nice sign.

He didn't shill the recent re-release of his movie on DVD.
-
Simon Dean vs Blue Meanie would be a feud.

I liked RE:A for having the "look at us we're really filming this in Canada and are making no effort to hide this from Canadians!" stuff that I, as a Canadian, always enjoy seeing. The particular scene in that film would be the gunfight in front of a Pizza Pizza restuarant that doesn't even exist in the US (though some people in the States become confused and think you're talking about Little Caesers).

The answer is still 11pm est on Spike TV.

The beauty of the real-time AKI openings is that, back when technology allowed us to edit a wrestler's attire, editing the main attire resulted in it being in the opening. Why do office chairs and the like explode in GoldenEye?

Yes it was announced last night on SD! and has a listing on WWE.com's GAB page.

Animal is available at a cost of $3m. This is my line-up for next week: Batista (assumed Title Retain points) Benoit (assumed Title Win points) Christian Heidenreich (taking a chance on this one) Juvi (assuming they add a CW title match, assuming Juvi wins) Kurt Angle Maria (extra $1m left over) Melina (her or Torrie would both be good picks since their guaranteed to bbe making PPV appearance, match, and specialty match points) Muhammed Hassan

The opening to WCW/nWo Revenge is awesome. It really shows off both the fun chaotic side of wrestling with all the midcarders hitting high spots and having a good time and the intense big-time feud side of wrestling with Sting beating up Hogan's truck driving friend ("WHAT!?"). Hogan visits him in what seems like a dark hospital room only for it to be revealed as an arena when Sting teleports to the Nitro set with his lightning bolt powers, causing Hogan and Sting have a staredown so intense that their hate manifests itself as eye lasers which causes everything to explode.

I was playing Shut Your Mouth today... THQ really should go back to making the ending / credits like they did in that game. Real American / Beautiful People playing while you watch tech demos and various hilarity still rocks almost 3 years later.

For an attorney lacking any form of wrestling training, he takes good bumps. Funny, eh?

Reminder: To get big time PPV points for the Bash, you'll need to set your roster by 7pm est on Monday.

So is WWE bringing up The Boogeyman so quickly some sort of slap in the face to Cornette? Well, it's better than 15 slaps in the face, I guess.

Angle bringing back the Challenge adds a whole new deal to the game. I was miffed that Masters only got regular match points but, combined with the fact that he got appearance, match, win, finisher, and finisher win points, it's cool... then Angle brings back the Challenge and I pretty much get everything I would have from the Masterlock Challenge. Pretty tense though.. they made Striker seem like a possible winner.

I dumped Hassan and picked up Edge for Week 5 as they just announced Edge vs. Kane for Raw. I assume Edge is winning and will be racking up appearance points. This leaves me with only JBL for SD! since I'm loaded with $5m contracts this week... HBK, Angle, and Cena. Part of me thinks that they'll only be good for appearances this week but I just added HBK and Angle to my week 5 roster and want to see how it works. Carlito is there since he's good for an appearance and possible title retain points, and MAsters is there because it seems the Challenge is bi-weekly now. I'm sure now that I've caught on to this pattern he'll show up to do it next week too. It's probably only a matter of time before Big Show answers the call and ends the deal and with my luck that will be this Monday.

I'll have to agree with a friend tha tsent me an e-mail prior to me seeing the episode that the vomit scene and Stewie ranting ("You know the words to Mr. Plow? Well do does everybody else!" or something along those lines) were good, but I feel the Breakfast Machine wins the episode.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion.

Why was Donkey Kong Jr. (as opposed to DK) the driver in Super Mario Kart? DK had been MIA for quite some time but putting the kid with his white shirt / bib in seemed odd... then DKC retconned it so DK Jr. is the current DK and Cranky is the original... right? The Kong family is confusing.

I'm going to have to agree with Anya that fighting games need (optional, of course) story modes that fully flesh out a fighter's storyline with each fight. Back in the day (I'm thinking 1997), I spent many a quarter trying to see everyone's ending in X-Men vs Street Fighter. Of course, back then, it was just pictures with words, but I enjoyed it and was bummed when I saw that the follow up games in the Vs. series (specifically MvC2 as that is the only game I can recall finishing a 1P mode at home) contained nothing. In this day and age, it would be pretty awesome if between fights in a Street Fighter game you were given animated cut-scenes.

Well this was the last of the PWI Insider updates. spman informed me today that Mr. Scherer suspended his account for "posting "Copywritten News" to online boards and taking away subscribers". How they tracked him we are not sure but the current guess he was the only subscriber.

Fair enough, apologies for becoming overly defensive on the issue. Excuse the slight interuption in thread conversation, let us resume...
