If you read between the lines, Scroby is saying TNA enjoys stealing ideas and making them worse with overbooked stipulations. A fair assessment, Scrobs!
I see. Yeah, that is a really stupid feature. Seems like it would do more harm to their attendance than good. Would an extra date or two on that page really hurt?
Sometimes when I check for Detroit dates I completely forget to switch to "Canada" to check for London (and now Toronto that I have friends up there or even Windsor now that we have a new arena they could run in). I understand the idea is someone in Italy may not want to scroll through 45 US dates to check if a show is coming to Milan, would it be that hard to make searching by country and optional deal instead of mandatory?
I've never done 2:22 but I'm a big proponent of :22, :33, ... :99. If something needs more than 1 minute and 39 seconds I just punch in whatever.
I used to have the "1 - 6" instant cook settings on a microwave that stopped working a few years ago. The "buy a $30 microwave from Zellers / Wal-Mart that will stop functioning in 2-5 years but gets the job done while it works" has worked out for years. Ditto toaster ovens.
Slayer was an absentee poster for a lot of 2008, but that little bit up there was pretty amazing. Amazing enough for success in the POTY Tourney? We'll find out soon enough!
I noticed with the last episode that was, Holiday Hell, and probably the episode on now, ECW shows on 24/7 now have a warning screen advising that the shows are intended for an adult audience. This bodes well.
I believe Shawn says that between "The Heartbreak Kid and Shawn Michaels", there was only room for one of them, heh. I also liked the line about his non-dinosaur friends in WCW that would beat Bret's ass.
I'm noticing a pattern where I'm very excited to watch a history making Raw only to realize nothing all that exciting happens. I thought the midget was this week! DX has their theme now, though. The opening segment with Michaels and Shamrock seemed to go on forever, alternating between great due to the crowd hatred for Shawn to pointless and dull. Shamrock's promo cutting ability of just calling people names was pretty funny though.
Raw and SmackDown are both first run shows next week (taped on the same day in Toronto) and then it's back to Monday/Tuesday tapings for the 29th and 30th (which looks like a double SD! taping).

Happy Birthday wishes to Diamondust. I don't think he ventures much further than the 24/7 section, but his posting there is appreciated, so have a good one.
I know I've been in the same place at the same time as others (I was at a Raw at the MCI Center on a visit to DC and I recall someone saying in the Raw thread they were very bored live, I'm sure some NYC based TSMer / ROH Fan was at the one and only ROH show I've been to, etc.) but I was only aware of it after the fact.
