Flipping through my guide to see what movies were debuting on TV in the coming weeks, I was happy to see the Dead Like Me revival film will be on in a few weeks (the 2nd, I think) on Superchannel. I don't know how it will be without Rube (nor do I know why it lists Laura Harris as a star - my very quick research on the subject indicated she had to pull out of the project) but I'm looking forward to it.

I figure we're due for some Marty Jannetty action on Nitro soon too. I remember it being a topic of discussion of my grade 11 gym class and that was over by January 98.

I haven't seen the DDP match since it aired on Nitro, so I'm up for that. I had to convince someone at high school that Goldberg/Raven was actually a fun match. I came close to being an asshole to Enigma and saying "into the already existing Shorties thread this goes", but the spirit of Hanukkah moved me to leave it be.

I was going to make some comment about JLH but my math said she would have been like, 11 when she appeared on the show. I'm not THAT bad.

Nothing says Hanukkah like Bill Goldberg's head on a lighting up a menorah! 10 years later and I still don't like Goldberg's casual selling (at best) of receiving TWO deadly legdrops.

The current format seems to be if you're retired (Flair) or dead (Perfect) and thus your life story really won't be changing, you get a documentary. If not, you do interstitials between matches.

When I got up to the counter, the cashier said "Which of these things is not like the other?" and gave a sarcastic smirk while scanning my TNA disc. I asked him what the deal was and he talked about how TNA wasn't "legitimate." Uh, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion is a freaking Olympic Gold Medalist! That's as legitimate as it gets.
