The Return of Optimus Prime...sorta
Conspiracy_Victim replied to AboveAverage484's topic in Television & Film
Yeah, Shockwave is a bitch. Although, to be honest, it probably was pretty boring up there on Cybertron before the Space Bridge was finished. "Guardian of Cybertron" my ass. -
Whipping a woman with a belt. When does he push down a granny and tear up a kid's sign?

I've been spotty on my TNA watching the past few weeks. Has Joe gone back to full face (if he was, in fact, ever full face), or is he just a tweener that gets to beat up anyone he wants to?
-
Konnan saying "Git 'r dun!" My night is now complete. Shit if I could get to Florida (or wherever the match is) I'd send in a tape. I doubt they'd show a "smark" tape though. Edit: So if Hebner wasn't in league with JJ, why the hell did he tip over the ladder? Explanation please.

Ultimate Fighter Season 4 the thread...
Conspiracy_Victim replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Well, that was quick. Didn't think Din would be able to sink that triangle on Mike. -
I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked them. I caught myself humming that tune here and there. The many chants are called "The Hymn of the Fayth". Just making sure we get the name correct. Other good tracks from the game are Otherworld, Confrontation, Challenge, Zanarkand, Someday the Dream Will End, and Summoned Beast Battle. Always liked "Otherworld". It threw me the first time I heard it (during the opening blitzball FMV) because it was so different from FF's musical history. Closest you'll probably ever see to heavy metal in Final Fantasy. The opening guitar riff is still great. There's another couple of pieces of music in there that I really liked too, but I can't remember the titles. Maybe Auron's theme? Another one was a real twangy acoustic guitar piece that almost sound like blues/bluegrass.

I would also like to give a cheer for the shout out to Laurie's "Blackadder" days when Cameron telling Wilson and Cuddy that they needed to come up with another "cunning plan". It took me a second to realize it.

Does Burnett just ask people to punch him in the face or something? The dude always has a busted up nose and two black eyes. -
Oh and I'm not going to recommend Guitar Hero for the simple fact that I've never actually played it except for a ouple of minutes at Best Buy when it first came out. A few extra bucks and I'll get it. Hopefully I'll be getting decent at just as the sequel gets out.

King's Quest IX: The Silver Lining
Conspiracy_Victim replied to Yuna_Firerose's topic in Video Games
Fond memories of that series. The Batmobile coming out of the witch's cave in 2 was my first "WTF?" gaming moment. Recently played a remake of 1 and 2. I had forgotten how short 1 really was if you knew what you were doing. I finished it in like an hour once I remembered where everything was. God Sierra was awesome in the 80's and early 90's. King's Quest, Police Quest, Liesure Suit Larry, and Space Quest all chewed up a lot of my childhood spare time. -
Well, everyone's said most of my favorites, so I'll put in votes for: DMC3 (and 1, of you've never played it. Do not come near 2, I'm pretty sure the suck will rub off). Resident Evil 4 ("awesome" is an understatement) FFX Dark Cloud 2 both Kingdom Hearts Bard's Tale (Good call Yuna, Elwes > just about any other voice work in a game) Beyond Good and Evil (as stated, deserved a much better fate) Metal Gears God of War (mindless but fun [except for the fucking Pillars]) GTAs if you need a time killer

OAO ECW on Sci-Fi Thread - September/12th/2006.
Conspiracy_Victim replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Show's gonna go flying off/through the cage for your HOLY SHIT moment of the evening. I was actually thinking that it was going to be Shane that would go flying off/through the cage. Show falling can hurt someone else or himself very badly. You know, as much as I think the way they book HIAC matches now, with more emphasis on grueling, barbaric punishment, part of me really misses the days of the crazy, 'holy shit' bumps they used to throw in. Nothing in a HIAC match will ever top the Undertaker-Mankind match, but it would be fun to see them try. Show going flying would be a holy shit bump..unless they pull a Rikishi with it.. It would be amazing, but remember for the WWE "wrestling" fan that Rikishi spot was amaing. When Rikishi went off the HIAC I didn't think it was that great. Sure the visual was impressive, but he landed in a truck filled with sawdust (or whatever it was) so people knew it wasn't going to be as "spontaneous" looking as Foley or even HBK. Personally, Rikishi coming off the top of the cage and squashing Val Venis dead was a much bigger "Holy Shit!" moment. I didn't think he was really going to do it (I didn't think there was a chance in hell Val would risk getting landed on by a 350 pound man from that height) and there wasn't anything to tip it off. -
I've actually had a pretty good run with eBay. I'm fairly certain my Love Hina set is a bootleg, but an excellent bootleg and a professional looking case, so I'm not complaining. However, all my other anime (Oh My Goddess, Airbats, Cowboy Bebop) seem to be the real deal. I'm holding out hope I can find the Trigun limited sets (with the metal cases), but I'm starting to htink they're just going to be way to expensive and I'm going to end up getting one of the 3 disc bootleg copies roaming around eBay.

Never wanted to see the day either.

Look out everyone HHH found his phallic symbol!

Then Undertaker turns around from the driver's seat and says, "Where to Hunter?", laughs maniacally, and drives the remains of the limo off into the night. Hogan has to run a semi into his crippled degenerate ass first Then Randy runs in and RKO's Hogan and ties him to the rear bumper of the limo as it drives off. I'm starting to run out of WWE car moments. HHH going to pull a Shawn and "pass out" in the middle of the ring? You forgot about Kane crashing the limo into the trailer truck, setting off pyro. You forgot about Orton driving in reverse through the screen, setting off pyro. You forgot about Austin pouring cement into corvette, setting off pyro (Im sure of it) Then Austin and Angle get into a fight over which truck they use to put out the pyro.

Considering he's been in the business his whole life, Vince throws some horrible punches. Along with horrible-everything else.

Helluva SD. Still have that ticket stub somewhere. One of the loudest crowds I've ever been a part of.

Are they trying to do 1-2-3 Kid/Razor Ramon with these two?
-
If he's not coming out with the lawnmower, can they give him new music?

Vinnie Mac ALMOST breaks Kayfabe! Fine him! Suspend him!
