I like you Masked Heel, I really do, but to say people will remember the Dudley Boys long after the Road Warriors/Legion Of Doom is laughable.

The Dudleys, in history, will be held back by two main things, in my opinion. 1. They were most famous for work in ECW, which was in the annuls of history just a small company. 2. They aren't well known for actually being able to wrestle, and neither have ever been in superb condition. Dudley's don't even crack the top 5 for me.

To follow up on earlier reports, the feeling is that when Vince McMahon stated at the WWE shareholders conference on May 1 that WWE was interested in adding another weekly TV show on Wednesday is that he was more posturing if anything reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WWE's production crew has been described as being stretched to the limit at this point with taping TV for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The feeling is that while it would be difficult to add another hour of tapings during the week, it wouldn't be impossible. The other thought is that they could simply consider doing a classics show or highlight show. Do you really count ECW and TNA as title reigns? They're hardly major promotions like WWE or WCW. Greatest American team ever? It's hard to look past the Road Warriors.

The British Bulldog pulled the move off well, but that was 15 years ago. Could Smith pull it off today? Time will tell.

In the great scheme of things, how will The Dudley Boys be remembered?

Of the obvious names not mentioned, I always found Bret Hart's promos from 96 onwards to be top notch. Even his build up to WrestleMania 12 was pretty awesome, even if it was face/face. Of course, 1997 came and he excelled even more.

I still, all this time later, can't believe that moment has been tainted. Right up to the tragedy, that moment was the greatest thing that ever happened in wrestling.

I've started this in GC and not NHB for the simple reason of nobody should be mocked for what they want to achieve. Personally, i'm losing weight. I'm six foot four and I go 268 pounds currently.
