  1. Eh, I saw this thread on the main page and wondered how long it would be before someone said those exact words. The first reply, as it were.
  2. Yeah, i've been logged out twice myself this morning.
  3. You win at the Internet.

Well, in all honesty, Derby are a bigger club than Preston, a better ground, fanbase, training facilities (I swear, the Training Facilities line comes out EVERY time we sign someone) - and more of a upside. A new board coming in, a better future. That's the company line and i'm sticking to it.

Billy Davies has indeed won the Manager of the Month award for November, it comes ten years after the last time a Derby manager won the same award - November 1996, Jim Smith.
  6. Eh, working.
  7. I love that he put this particular clip there.

That's very interesting, if not quite random =]]

Big shock, Phil Brown is back in management, after joining Hull as a coach, he's now been appointed caretaker with a view to a permanant position. Anyway, I haven't seen the Manager of the Month for November, but it'll be a crime if Billy Davies didn't win it, he won every single game in November.
  10. It's okay guys, he's harmless, it says there he's chrisitian.

It's all well and good, but I don't think we were a premiership side at the time! I don't know. Ashley Ward, I've got a soft spot for him, he scored the last ever goal at the Baseball Ground (and funilly enough, the first goal at Pride Park).
  13. People are going to buy WrestleMania. Big Show / Sabu could main event it and people would still buy it. RVD and Stevie Richards could go on and the fans would buy. Guys, it's Wrestlemania.

I don't know if he touched 15 games. In five years. We signed him for £3m when he was just 19.
  15. This isn't strictly accurate, I'll use myself as an example. The reason I use this site, was because about four or five years ago, I was a big high-school wrestling mark (as in, I watched in high school, not I'm a big follower of high school wrestling..) - anyway, I was always on wwe and wcw.com - but I decided to use a search engine for WWF - and in between the WWF and WWFund sites, there were lots of other sites, like Geocities (back in the day, like) and fan pages, then there other sites, like this. If you see a 'wrestling forum' with thousands of members - odds are you're going to view it, regularly if you like it. That's what happened with me. I went from a mark to an 'internet fan' (I don't like the term, smark) - by using a search engine.
  16. Which is a shame, as i've been improving from bottom place for about 6 weeks now, I was really getting into this.

You're right, I don't know why I said City, We've only played Rovers once in a blue moon. Derby's side that day: Poom: Signed for Sunderland, then Arsenal. Best keeper we've had in the last ten years. Grenet: Cost I believe £2.5m - Second worst signing of the last 10 years. Shipped off to I believe France. Mawene: Our player of the year last season - obvious decision was to release him 2 weeks later. The old board were useless. Joined Preston on a free. (Morris 52): In my opinion, the best left winger we've had in the last 10 years. Plagued by injuries so badly. Left for Leicester. Carbonari: "Petaco" Famed for his free kicks, not much else though. Released under the old board. Higginbotham: One of the two quality defenders we had, sold when we were relegated due to financial situation. Joined Southampton. Zavagno: Worse than Grenet. Cost £3m. Shipped off for far less. Bolder: Home grown talent, does a job, squad player, starts one of every 5 games or so. Carbone: Personally, I loved this player. Previously the lad at Sheffield Wednesday if i'm not mistaken. A great talent, couldn't afford his wages. Released. Boertien: Read the exact same description as Bolder. Christie: Happy-go-lucky player. A confidence player, if he had it going, he had it going. Famously hit a hattrick against Man United, the winner being disallowed. Sold with Riggott to Middlesboro. Ravanelli: Quite easily the worst striker in the last 20 years at Derby. His heart was never in it, and we only finished paying his wages 18 months after we sold him. .. Yeah, a new board has come in, a new manager has come in, and six months makes a hell of a lot of difference. That's if it's even been six months.
  18. Umaga: Legend Killer.
  19. Son of a bitch.
  20. Yeah, as a Taylor, it's hard to spot. Enter youself as John Bocampovic. Odds are you'll notice it might just be your son.
  21. 'God all mighty, shut that woman up!' JR no mince words.
  22. Have DX or RKO been in the ring officially yet?
  23. Raw thread is bare tonight.
  24. Me too.
  25. Did the Booker/RVD combo theme grow on you or no? The absolute worst was the DX/Kane one.. I don't know if you guys go this far back, but anyone remember the Lex Luger/ British Bulldog combo theme when they were the Allied Powers back in 95 or so? I liked it!
