My personal favorite is Sting/Flair/Luger at Cade 95. WM20 is in second with Benoit/Angle/Rey.

Stiffest beating you've ever seen
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I've been watching a tape of some RAW's from 1993, and the Steiners are like this in every match against jobbers. Sure, they're facing jobbers...but not one jobber team ever has gotten in ONE MOVE on the Steiners. They stiff the shit so bad out of the jobbers they're almost heels...but the crowd loves every minute of it. Last match I watched, Scott busted out a _SICK_ Orange Crush Piledriver that could have broken the guy's neck. Wow. It just amazes me how they got away with this. Often when someone is stiff to a jobber the promoter sends out a tough guy to rough up the guy who was stiff. Too bad no one in the locker room could rough up the Steiners so that's how they got away with it. -

The Greatest Video Packages Of All Time

My favs are Bret/Taker at Slam97("If life was fair...") and Sting/Hogan from Cade97(Sting walking through glas while the screen writes about "The Ruin of an Empire"). Not counting build up videos the Lonely Road of Faith desire is by far my favorite. -
My two favorites: Bret/Taker from SS97. "If life was fair...". Sting/Hogan. Sting walking through glass pics of Hogan while the screen shows the "ruin of an empire". Also Austin/Rock, Austin/Dude Love at OTE and HBK/HHH from Slam 02.

One of the best angles in WWE history, to this day. Hell probably right behind Bret/Austin, Austin/Vince and, maybe, Bret/Owen for best feud in WWE history. Match is a good blowoff too, and possibly one of Hogan's best. And this is, most likely, my favorite single announcing job ever in the WWE. Jesse's anti-Hogan rants are so entertaining it's priceless. Great match and the definition of a Mania blowoff(not technically but it drew the most money of any Mania up till 1998 I think).

Out of active guys(ie. no Austin) Cena and Eddie are tied for second most over in the company. Like him or not Taker still gets the loudest reactions.

Just about the tap: Hennig literally couldn't handle taking the sharpshooter cause of his back. Thus the fast tap. -

***3/4 - Taking in my mind Perfect was so crippled he couldn't actually take the sharpshooter and had to tap in seconds. Great match though and, had Hennig been healthy, I can imagine how good it would've been. -
Walking Tall. Hellboy looks like shit. I'm SO sick of superhero movies.

Road House Pure action and pure fun. I love it! -
What controversy does he have to spread? He seems contempt with where he is in life and I'm happy for him.

Last minute booking decisions
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Apparently at Superbrawl 4, Flair(the booker) couldn't decide till moments before the PPV started whether to let Vader win the title back or not. -
I could make a comp. depending on what you want since I have a lot of stuff. Check my site(in sig) to see if I have what you need. But I got bad experience with making a comp. for someone on this site(Bring back Charlie ward) so we'll need to discuss this.

had heard many great things about this movie but I really didn't knwo what to expect going into it. Now that I've wacthed it I actually feel different. The movie actually had an affect like no other movie in the past year. It didn't just thrill me like Kill Bill or hook me dramatically like Mystic River, it simply captivated me and I felt it. That is a very rare trait in cinema and Sofia Coppola deserves the applause in the world for what she has pulled with this film(producer, writer & Director). This isn't your stereotypical comedy or black comedy or romantic comedy or drama or anything. There are no cliches and no "happily ever after" cinema ending. It is a real story with real people and thus you feel their privacy, their connection, their lonliness. The script features no huge moments but instead many subtle moments which aren't meant to be dramatic but still come off dramatic in a way that you believe that these characters are experiencing this drama. Now I spent all of February preaching Sean Penn for the best actor Oscar. After seeing Bill Murray here, I'm split on who was better. Both were powerful but while Penn went into hysterics, tears etc. Murray does so much with so little. He doesn't try to be funny, and his character doesn't want to be funny, but he is. He doesn't try to act he IS Bob Harris. He creates a fully fleshed character without any gimmicks of life changing experiences or anything like that. In hindsight I truly believe he deserved the Oscar over Sean Penn. But that's nothing comapred to how Scarlett Johansson was robber of even a nomination. She matches Murray scene for scene yet she didn't even get nominated. Another great call by the Academy(to go along with ROTK beating out this and Mystic River) . Overall I don't even know how to rate this movie. It's not my favorite of 2003, nor overall the best(Mystic River still takes that crown), but it's special in it's very unique way. Not something I would buy but I something I would watch often(if that makes sense). So I'm rambling now, what did you all think?
