I would have to say that Nick Mondo vs. The Messiah from EPIC is one of my most favorite hardcore matches. It's one of the very few matches that I would love to see never end, just keep on knocking the crap out of each other with different stuff.

Well, Brett Favre still got sacked atleast twice because I fell asleep during the fourth quarter. They are reporting that Steve Smith has a broken fibula, and that is bad news for Carolina. Keary Colbert can fill the spot, but I don't think there is anyone else in the NFL quite like Smith.

Is there any reason for us to believe the boos weren't for his character instead of the person?

A local television deal shouldn't be the "Biggest Announcement Ever!" as it would only piss off fans who don't live in Indiana. I'm hoping they are expanding their territory and possibly planning some shows in the Mid-Atlantic. If their video quality is the same as in '03, a DVD distribution deal would be highly unlikely.

Well, I doubt there are enough people left in Florida that are wrestling fans that are willing to drive to a wrestling show to make this a profitable venture.

Madden may have the rights to the Vince Lombardi trophy, because I also wondered why there was no cutscene of the team holding it up together. I'm guessing you are talking about the depth chart numbers being red? That means they're injured, yellow may mean they are injured but can still play.

From what I've seen the Carolina Panthers are approaching this game as just another preseason game. Jake Delhomme said they were looking forward to it because it would give them a chance to test themselves against the best team in the NFL. I just hope the Patriots try a little harder this week than last week. Carolina's first two preseason games have been decided by a touchdown or less, so this could easily be as close as the Super Bowl was.

I can't wait for this weekend's Carolina Panthers vs. New England Patriots game, although it can't possibly be as good as their Super Bowl matchup, it will be a good gage as to how good Carolina will be this season. After seeing New England get stomped by the Bengals, I feel pretty confident that the Panthers can pull out a win.

I know I was watching Preseason Football, which is sad considering I'm not even a fan of the Broncos or the Redskins. Last night, the Diva Search stuff was bad, the Kane/Lita/Matt Hardy stuff was bad, the Divas tag match was bad, and everything else other than Chris Jericho vs. Edge I didn't even bother watching. This is still bad news considering once REAL Monday Night Football starts the numbers will probably drop under the 3.0s. I know I'll be watching Packers vs. Panthers over RAW whenever that game is.

Running house shows could be a good move by TNA, especially if they tour around the Mid-Atlantic. They could easily produce low-cost shows with A.J. Styles, America's Most Wanted, Ron Killings, The Naturals, Triple X, and the X-Division. They wouldn't even need to book the higher-priced talent, although Jeff Hardy could probably draw in North Carolina. Hopefully, the ending of the weekly PPVs will mean more competitive matches on Impact! and I don't see any reason they couldn't get an extra hour each week.

I would put the Carolina Panthers on the least recognized list, ESPN always seems to forget that the Patriots won the Super Bowl by a field goal with four seconds to go when they talk about how unstoppable the team was.

They didn't really impress me in their game against Puerto Rico, so them losing to Italy is no real surprise. I remember hearing that most of their points came from inside the paint and they are terrible everywhere else, which isn't surprising when you have LeBron James on your team.

Maybe we'll finally get Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko vs. Perry Saturn and Raven from Spring Stampede '99 on DVD.

The match that TNA can do right now that would get the most buys from their fanbase (internet) is an AJ vs. Daniels match advertised as either an iron man match or a 2 out of 3 falls match and let them go for an hour. I could just watch three of the one million matches Daniels and Styles have had against each other the past year back-to-back-to-back and save $10.

Chris Benoit vs. Jeff Jarrett from Starrcade '99 was good, but I really liked their regular match from Mayhem '99. The finish sucked but everything before it was really good.

If Trent Acid was to win the title, I would expect Homicide to win it from him at the very next show. Have Homicide and Low Ki interfere and cost Samoa Joe the match, give Samoa Joe a little time off, let Homicide carry the belt a few months, then have Samoa Joe come back for one last match between the two before carrying over to Low Ki.

Speaking of EPIC, was Bryan Danielson vs. Samoa Joe on their very first show or their very last one. I have International Collision and Pain And Suffering on video but I heard they had another show with Danielson vs. Joe, anyone have the rest of the results from that show and know if it is on video anywhere? Anyway, another great looking show from PWG, Danielson vs. Joe will rock, Cabana vs. Kazarian should be very entertaining, Prohibition will get his ass destroyed by Dragon, and Donovan Morgan is never a bad thing.

If he can bring the goods on a nightly basis like he did in his matches against Sabu in MLW, I don't see why WWE wouldn't want to hire him. He can wrestle and get the fans on his side just as easily as he can get them to hate him.

Edge vs. Randy Orton in a ladder match would be a good main event match next week. People who watch the Iron-Man match will most likely turn the channel during the Diva Search, so just hype the ladder match during the iron-man match to ensure they get some of those fans back. I would think most wrestling fans would be more likely to turn back for a Edge vs. Randy Orton ladder match than Batista vs. Chris Jericho or Chris Jericho vs. Kane.

I'm guessing before making his dramatic exit with his girlfriend he'll tell the captors to "suck on dez nuts!"
