  1. FACT: Kyliejunge was responsible for the reprehensible gimmick forever known as "Human Jukebox." Evidence, you say? He was sloppy enough to leave behind his signature! How much more damning could this picture be?! Do you really want someone like this having the first pick? Make the right decision. Vote Frigid.
  2. Eh, I don't know about that. The red X looks pretty nice.
  3. The advertisements alone would get me to buy a ticket. "WWE Smackdown is coming to an arena near you! WATCH Eddie Guerrero lose his mind and begin to insult the crowd. Why, if you're lucky, you could be a member of the very exclusive Guerrero ass-kicking fan club! Hold your beer and your comments to yourself, or you may just be holding your teeth instead! SEE John Bradshaw Leyfield take part in inappropriate, offensive acts. Nazi salutes in Germany. Lynching of black men in the South. Dressing up as an Arab Terrorist in New York. You never know what that crazy, stock-savvy Texan could do next. HEAR Akio, Sakoda, and Funaki with exaggerated Japanese accents! Booker T and Theodore Long with classic negro language from the past ("Yo, Taker, let me AX you a question!" "Belee-Dat!")! And let's not forget those lovable Full Blooded Italians. Don't miss your chance to buy exclusive WWE Smackdown tickets! Where else could you watch Orlando Jordan use an armbar....several times?! Plus we hear Hardcore Holly and Mark Jindrak just may be delivering breathtaking dropkicks. Maybe even use a few armdrags! Folks, you've never seen anything like it! Don't get shut out. Order today!
  4. Finally got it. Christ, it took me long enough.....
  5. I think some people are prematurely saying they solved it. I got it right on the first guess, but was wrong on the second. After a few more rolls, I came up with a new theory. It was proven right the first time, disproven the second. Now, I'm still trying to come up with the right solution for this problem. Spiff, I just want to thank you for this frustrating problem.
  6. Count me in the draft.
  7. It was a decent season finale.....just may have been too predictable for its own good. With the Adrianna whacking last episode, people were begging to be shocked again. Instead, Tony B. got clipped in a plot twist that didn't surprise anybody. Sure, it's logical, but another major character could have gotten killed before it was all over. I will say that I was surprised about the FBI appearance at the end, but it became even more disappointing when we realized they weren't even after Tony. And are they serious with ending the NY/NJ war? That was what the sixth season was supposed to be about. Bloodshed, nasty mob dealings, continuous whackings....the hottest way to go out. But it looks as if that chapter in the Sopranos is closed. So what's next? Dealing with Meadow's wedding, AJ's party planning, Carmela's business, and Tony's marriage?? I don't know if I could deal with any more of this Soprano family garbage. Who really cared about AJ's party tonight? What the hell was even the point of thoe scenes?! Let's hope they have a plan for bringing back the mob war in Season 6 because, otherwise, the series is in danger of ending in a whimper rather than a bang.
  8. Nice to see Dames is allowing the handicapped to moderate. ...... ...... ......well, SOMEBODY needs to tell him! Who wants the job?
  9. Well, to be fair, I'm sure the people that know you don't like you either.
  10. So, with the season finale happening tomorrow night, what are your predictions for the last episode of Season 5? -Obviously, I see a big whacking happening tomorrow night. Everyone is convinced Tony B. is the character that winds up getting killed, but I'm actually leaning towards Christopher. With his relapse back into drugs, being alone without Adrianna, his remaining hurt feelings with Tony S. and Tony B. making fun of him together.....I don't think Chris is lasting much longer. -Maybe they'll admit that they didn't actually shoot Adrianna. There has to be a reason they didn't show a huge killing like that on camera. I've been hearing theories that Silvio fired a warning shot, telling her to run away before she gets hurt. It's a little unrealistic, sure, but.....still......one could hope -There's also the storyline with Johnny Sack that's sure to be addressed. as well as the recent rejoining of Tony and Carmela. There's so many different directions they could go with the finale tomorrow night. Let's just hope they don't drop the ball like they did with Season 4.
  11. -I would laugh my ass off if Reservoir Dogs happened to win the tournament. Christ, what a great ending that would be... 2001: A Space Odyssey Fight Club The African Queen Key Largo Bride Of Frankenstein The Usual Suspects The Third Man Vertigo A Clockwork Orange Raging Bull Once Upon A Time in America Reservoir Dogs Rear Window Se7en On The Waterfront Rocky Adaption Dr. Strangelove The Ten Commandments Duck Soup Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid Midnight Express Scarface Night Of The Hunter Amadeus Das Boot Jaws The Killer the Godfather Memento Greed Goodfellas Taxi Driver Gone With The Wind American Beauty Blade Runner The Quiet Man The Searchers To Kill A Mockingbird Heat Apocalypse Now LA Confidential Leon Lord of The Rings: Return of the King Breakfast At Tiffany's It's a Wonderful Life Ben Hur Citizen Kane American History X An American in Paris The Deer Hunter The Shawshank Redemption Casablanca A Face in the Crowd Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back The Manchurian Candidate Forrest Gump Cool Hand Luke Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence Life Is Beautiful Chinatown Full Metal Jacket The Godfather Part II
  12. Pissing in the shower? Please, I'm so past that at this point. Instead, I've taken to peeing on other people lately. It really should be considered just as acceptable as pissing in the shower, if not more so.
  13. -Thought the Jingus/Black match was well-done. It had enough action to carry itself on its own, yet didn't give too much away for the tag team match that will be coming soon. I've really enjoyed reading the Black T segments recently, and this one was no exception. Looking forward to the imminent Black T/Jingus & Mystery Partner feud coming up. -Nice, intense segment between Crystal and AJ. All the different cross-feuds among the teammates is only going to help make this match more awesome than it would have been otherwise. -Good segment between Leah and Rick. Just when you thought Rick was weakening a little with the counselor last week, he restablishes his asshole roots once again. I also like the fact that minor seeds have been planted for a possible relationship between Leah and Rick.....well, if that's what you were going for, anyway. -The Mario Brothers attack was a great idea. Although, I think the Hoff cape would wind up selling more than the Hoff shirt ever will... -The match between the Saints and Rey/Konnan was probably a little TOO short, even if it was meant to be a squash. But I loved the interview afterwards. The conceited nature of those two guys have been established really well already. -Well done confrontation between Dama and Smith. I think it did a fine job of explaining why they had been missing, and the "Secret Death-Match footage" idea is actually very intriguing. I'm looking forward to seeing what actually happened in Mexico. This feud between the two guys continues to get even better. -Really intense match between Hoff and Sly. The action was great, and the ending with Sly's heavy blood leading to his downfall was a nice idea. If I could make one suggestion, the nearfalls might have much more impact if you split up the numbers vertically rather than writing them horizontally and just dividing them with a group of dots. The match loses a little when you can clearly see that a big move doesn't actually lose to a pinfall. Besides that minor criticism, once again, I really enjoyed it. -Interesting promo with Popick and PRL. Once again, the partnership gets even more mysterious with the surprise attack on Abe and Bill. -As always, I loved the match between Bryte and Tina. The action in these series of matches is always well done, and I like the new twist with Bryte's bodyguard. The whole feud has been done nicely, because it's now at the point where I can't wait for Panther to come back and beat the piss out of Bryte. I only wish certain federations like WWE could book a feud this well. -Yet another good match between Crystal and Calvin. Very nice warmup in preparation for the War Games match, and I continue to like Crystal having to overcome all the odds against Thrillogy. -I liked the quick, technical nature of the contest between Shuffle and Rick Edwards. With this match, Rick's character has managed to get even deeper. Seriously, he really has wound up becoming one of the most interesting wrestlers on HeldDown. Again, very good match. -What can I say about the Fonzie/Warrior/Dan match? Like I said last week, I enjoy the comedic aspects of this angle. It seems to be filling a certain role in the federation that hasn't been seen in a few months. -Zack vs. Phoenix was a very fun Main Event. The give-and-take nature of the match was realistic, the action was great, and I liked the twist with Northstar being revealed as Phoenix #2. The ending with all of the War Games combatants fighting with each other was crazy, and it's good to see that the face side of the team is getting more solid against Thrillogy by the week. ......Christ, that was a lot of segments to cover. Like always, any feedback on the Drek/Cappa storyline would be greatly appreciated. Honestly, I felt this week's angle lost some impact by being put on so early in the show. But then again, with so many big angles going on at the same time, what can you really do? Anyway, once again, feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.

  15. But then we face the risk of a Polish person running the country for a day. Is that really a chance you're willing to take?

  18. Ugh. "Don't be a Menace" was supposed to be a joke entry......guess that didn't go over so well. You might as well take it off the list, as it was never meant to be taken seriously. I would strongly suggest replacing it with "Forrest Gump" instead. 1. 2001: A Space Odyssey 8. Back To The Future 14. Das Boot 17. 19. Now hold up. If I'm voting for what is the conventional greatest movie, then there really is no reason for me to vote. The Godfather, Citizen Kane, Casablanca....these are all movies that have been rated the greatest by the average American. If I don't agree with this....then I would be voting for my favorite movie out of the two. Which has already been covered in that other poll. You can't tell me that Citizen Kane is a great movie, if I don't necessarily agree that it is. Like I said before, it was just one of those movies that I think has been severely overrated throughout history. Now, if it is pitted against Fight Club......conventional wisdom says Citizen Kane is the better movie, which I disagree with. My personal opinion says Fight Club is the better movie, but conventional wisdom disagrees with that. Which idea am I supposed to be following? Then what is the point of me voting if history has already decided which film has had a larger overall influence on the media? What you're suggesting is that this poll doesn't require you to have an opinion, which defeats the very idea of a poll in the first place.
  20. Oh no, I do get the concept. I just think it's a very flawed one. We're nominating movies based on the preconceptions other people have had about them. Forget the fact that I found Citizen Kane to be an incredibly boring movie. Countless movie critics have enjoyed it. Does this now mean that I have to put in a vote for Citizen Kane in a tournament bracket? Despite the fact that I didn't like the movie, movie experts still think of this movie as one of the greatest movies ever created. Who's guidelines am I supposed to use here: Mine (who would probably find Forrest Gump or Fight Club to be a greater overall movie than Citizen Kane)? or The conventional line of thinking (which means that my opinion isn't really warranted in the first place)? I don't understand how we're supposed to be making the decisions in this tournament. The rules don't seem to make much sense.
  21. It could also have to deal with it being Memorial Day and all...... Considering everything, 3.2 isn't too terrible
  22. American History X Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood Forrest Gump
  23. In 2000, Bush was able to get by with unintelligent comments, rambling speeches, and a shady past. But he had this certain charisma that, at least, attracted many people to vote for him. Kerry has absolutely NO redeeming qualities when it comes to public image. While I do want Bush taken out of the White House, I'm having quite a bit of trouble realizing that my vote is going to be towards someone as stiff and unfriendly as Kerry has appeared to be. If Kerry had the type of charisma and overall friendliness towards people that Clinton had when he was running for the Presidency, the winner of the 2004 Presidential Race wouldn't even be an issue right now.
  24. I just find it incredibly disappointing that, even after all of this recent criticism against Bush and the continuing evidence that he's unsuitable for a second term, John Kerry has been unable to get any additional public support in his bid for the Presidency. Anybody with at least a SHRED of charisma would be able to take advantage of the political gold that Kerry's being given. But obviously, Kerry has no idea what "charisma" even means.
  25. "Rob, we are FURIOUS that you have been a few hours late to our recent Smackdown house shows" "Oh.....sorry, dude." "That's all you have to say?! We didn't even know if you were going to show up on time. This is unacceptable!" "My bad. Really sorry, bro." "That's it. How dare you! We're not writing you into Smackdown tonight!" "Dude...." "That's right! You will NOT be starting off the show. You will NOT be having a meaningless match. You will NOT continue to be a directionless distraction on our show. You will NOT be participating in anything Smackdown-wise, tonight. Now....GO TAKE THE NIGHT OFF!!!" -------------------------------------------------------------------- Boy, they really came down with a harsh punishment on Van Dam this time around. Wow, not making him wrestle on a show in which he has absolutely no angle. Imagine the terrible things he's done the past few weeks - they actually forced him to go out there and wrestle with the kind of guys currently on the Smackdown roster!
