Dixie Carter was interviewed by Alex Marvez recently. In it, she says that she is confident TNA will be able to deliver a strong show with Impact! but isn't sure whether they will be able to draw ratings at their weak timeslot. Check out the interview here. - People from TNA are indicating that the guy who forced a fan to stop using his cell phone because he was giving away taping results to a wrestling website was not a direct employee of TNA and acted on his own. - Sabu is apparently not under contract to TNA yet. TNA is trying to get all their main talent under contract. Credit: PWInsider.com - Bob Carter, the head of Panda Energy (the main company behind TNA's financing) was backstage at the Impact! taping last night. It appears as if the show was the first one Bob has ever attended. His daughter, Dixie, is the one looking over TNA. Bob was said to be happy with how everything was going at the show. - Shane Douglas and Jerry Lynn worked as agents for the taping last night. The plan is for Douglas to be one of the main guys for TNA in Pittsburgh when they start running house shows there. - Terry Taylor also returned last night, helping out backstage. - Most of the wrestlers were happy with the six sided ring and many thought it added a lot to the X Division matches since it allowed the talent to be more creative and innovative. - Most of TNA management feels that the X Division is one of the main keys to the promotions success from here on out. The feeling is that the X Divison is the main attraction TNA has that WWE cannot compete with. AJ Styles will be pushed as the focus of the division. He actually asked management to put him back in the X Division and even wanted to defend the NWA Title against another X worker last night but that didn't pan out. - Marc Mero was backstage at the show. - The TNA talent loved the atmosphere at the taping last night and thought everything came off very well and "big league." Credit: PWInsider.com Now everyone stop your bitching, he asked to be put back in the X-Division. Im glad thats settled. TNA management was very happy with how the first ever Impact! taping came across yesterday. The feeling was that the matches came off well and the crowd was very much into the action. TNA was very pleased with how the crowd knew the TNA product and were very loud. The reaction to the set and production values also has been very good. The only negatives seem to be that Jerry Jarrett, the cofounder of the promotion, was unable to attend the taping due to his ongoing heart problems. He did attend the PPV on Wednesday, the first show he has been at since undergoing bypass surgery last month. The other negative is that TNA is getting a lot of backlash for their decision to force a fan not to use his cell phone because he was giving the results to a wrestling website. Obviously if TNA thinks they can keep their taping results a secret without them leaking to the 'net, they are in for a very rude awakening. Credit: PWTorch.com

LOL, yeah, I know, I just wanted to share. MORE TO SHARE!~ This is from 411Mania, it makes a point about AMW getting the tag belts back.... My overall thoughts: I thought this was an excellent first show. The set is nice, not too over done, and nice lighting and laser effects. I like the 6-sided ring, and since it was the 1st time for a lot of these guys in it, they did very well. AJ Styles going back to the X Division is not a bad thing, not a demotion and not JJ holding him down. AJ has said numerous times that being the NWA Heavyweight Champion was a goal and something he wanted to accomplish. But, that the X Division was his first love. They now have a better roster of X guys, and the plan seems to be to build Impact around the X Division. Who better than "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles to lead the charge? They want people to know they are not the WWE, that they are different and this is the best way to do it. AMW as Tag Team Champions again is great. The Tag Scene is a bit weak in TNA as well as the WWE. There are people that love tag team wrestling and if they have a solid team like AMW to build off of, they have a chance. Dusty Rhodes is fine in this kind of role, as he is the link to tradition, and always gets a great pop. Shane Douglas will be used as a road agent and back stage announcer, so that is another positive.

This is from the GameFAQS board I didnt think people like this actually existed. There people who DONT like the wrestling?

Its a world X-Cup, not a national, although that would be pretty hot. The West vs the South vs the Midwest vs the East

My cousin came downstairs and goes "Whats that? A hexagon ring? Why doesnt the WWE do that?" Its always a positive when #2 does something #1 doesnt do and people wonder why #2 did it first.

I still dont see the Kevin Nash resemblance. Test, yeah, but Kevin Nash. People are just nitpicking.

Something else I noticed. On the first episode, Seth is at a party and walks into the bathroom and goes "WHOA! I should really learn to knock, in case theres a 3 some going on the in bathroom." On the New Years Eve episode (episode 15 I think, 14 or 15) Sandy comes home after Hailey's party and goes "WHOA! I should really learn to knock.....in case there is a 3 some going on in my bedroom."

Styles is the best the X-Division has, along with AMW. Look at it this way....There is Rocafella Records, a rap label. Jay-Z is the head of the label. If they were to relaunch the label, or go on hiatus and come back, would it make sense to let Jay-Z do songs with other artists and not help out his own "family"? That is sorta what is happening here. They are letting Styles ,or putting Styles with the X-Division so he can give them that rub and help them shine.

Hey, get a fucking grip and pick what you want. You ask them to use their own talent and make new stars and whatever else you bitch about and what do they do? They use their own stars, they used Chris Sabin and AJ Styles and you complain and throw tantrums. If they would have hired Hogan, Savage, Shamrock, Nash and Hall, we would have had millions of "This shows bush league" and "They are washed up. Give your regulars a chance" bullshit posts. What else do you want?

Something else... At the end of the first show, when Ryan went back to Chino, Marissa is standing at her mailbox and her and Ryan look at each other from the driveway and inside of the car. And what do they do at the end of the last episode? The same thing.

Im watching the 1st episode now (the pilot episode really, dont know if its the 1st or not) and the stuff they do is amazing. 1) Seth mentions wanting to sail to Tahiti in July. What does he do on the last episode? Sail somewhere in the middle of summer. 2) The series starts off with Jimmy's financial problems and you can see the problems in his face. But one thing they do change is the music. The show started off hip (opening scene played some Jay-Z song; when they arrive at Holly's party they are playing In Da Club) but now all of the songs are rock or metal or something. But I hope they dont take Ryan off the show, the show pretty much revolved around him. Unless they bring in the cousin from Boston (mentioned this in the 1st episode) they need that 2nd male character for Seth to feed off of.

Trust me, no one is going to see Soul Plane. For one, its a black movie, and almost everyone black (or all of the black people I know, which is alot) have seen the bootleg already. They were even talking about it a few days ago on the morning show, for people like 35-50, about how Soul Plane looks good (the bootleg, not the movie) and how you can go to your local barbershop and get a copy or tell your child to buy it from somebody at school. They got on the subject because Tarintino was talking about how he isnt anti-piracy and encourages the bootlegging of Kill Bill in China because otherwise, it wouldn't be seen there. -
My basketball coaches are the same way. On game days we had to wear a shirt and tie during school and on our way to the game.

Handwritten too. It would show a "dedication" to your cause.

What they could do is find some big buff guy who can act (Sabretooth maybe?) and get them a HUGE blue fur costume so it to makes them look bigger than they are and just use blue makeup for their face. Would that satisfy anti CGI people?

This is Grand Theft Auto. The last 2 didnt have one set and the last one was set in the 80s and 80s is usually defined as big hair, heavy metal. And Juice is my favorite movie and its not even a "gangsta" flick. Shouldn't they try to steal Menace 2 Society instead? That would make more sense.

Larry, what made you think any different? Didn't GTA 3 have a white guy and there was all kinds of music? Didn't Vice City have an Italian? Was there all kinds of organs and opera music? Was spaghetti mentioned in every line? What makes people think because the guy is black the game will feature rap music and mispelled words?

It starts off in the summer. Kids are home in the summer at grandma's or with a baby sitter.
