agreed I'd believe the shiek over Greg anyday. I was pretty shocked when I read the interview. The purpose of the interview was about his father not him. No one ever gave a shit about Greg. What did he ever do? I think its a decent proposal for Gagne to be honored at the ceremony. But where is Curt Hennings honors? Rick Rude? or Owen Hart? Hart's been dead for nearly a decade, its time... Now that Bret is on better terms with WWE, I think next year it would be appropriate for Owen to be inducted by Bret. I can see the point of wanting to not put too many big names in every year though...

That really shouldn't matter. If you have a Tivo, the TV tunes to the channel to record and the meter would pick it up if you are in a metered home. If you have a diary, the person would write it down as normal...

Another factor that some might not consider is that the higher audience of Smackdown can act as a good lead in to programming following it. In my city, the local news on UPN at 10pm often runs teasers for a pro-wrestling related story during Smackdown that doesn't air until 10:40ish to try to get viewers to stick around. I'd assume it works... I think SD will get axed anyway though... but while UPN doesn't seem to want it in favor of the comedies like you mentioned, it's almost like they don't want to give it up to another network in fear of losing more ratings.

Why is it that my SpikeTV has just been airing commercials nonstop since 11pm? It's on DirecTV I believe, routed through my school's cable system. Basically tons of DirecTV PPV commercials
