Eddie tells a story of when his grandmother first came to El Paso and cheated on her citizenship test. Eddie is interupted by John Cena coming to the ring. Cena does his usual rhymes saying Eddie does not belong here. Cena says Eddie has the US Title but he's not even an US citizen. Eddie says Cena should not talk about his people where there are 12,000 of them there. Cena wants a shot at the US title. Eddie grants his wish and the match is on tonight. I saw the last 15 minutes...a little far fetched all that shit to go down an hour before the game but whatever...it was okay. But my advice to ESPN is let ABC show it and keep network like dramas off your fuckin' channel. The point of the channel is to report real sports not make believe.

Let's see tonight the breakdown wrestlers to non-wrestlers featured in the second hour of Raw: Wrestlers: Chris Jericho, Christian, Randy Orton, Maven, Shawn Michaels, Kane Non-wrestlers: Linda McMahon, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Steve Austin, Eric Bischoff, Johnathan Coachman, Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross Okay that's 8 to 6 and Jericho was just enhancement to Shane/Kane and Christian was just enhancement to Coach/King. Seriously enough is enough. Its called WRESTLING so let's see some wrestlers. I'd ask for seeing some wrestling matches betwen wrestlers only too but that'd probably be asking for too much.

Big trade news that goes to show the July 31st deadline means almost nothing. Baseball Tonight is reporting that Brian Giles will be traded to the Padres tommorrow. I guess he cleared waivers since everyone knew he'd be going to a non-contender. Also they are reporting Rondell White will likely be traded to the Royals or Expos before Sunday.
-
Yes because the timing is odd since Angle now looks stronger than ever after his win last night. Here's what I basically said in the Raw thread: HHH is dropping the title at Unforgiven...he'll show up on Smackdown the week after and beat Angle at No Mercy....which happens to be the week of his wedding....perfect wedding present from Vince. They also have to be itching to reunite HHH and Steph on camera before it. Crazier things have happened.
-
Royals acquire starter Brian Anderson from the Indians for two minor leaguers. Waiver trade deadline is this Sunday.

The one-and-only football contest thingy thread
Bored replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Sports
Since it doesn't count I'm just picking every road team. Texans - 13 Chicago Detroit N.Y. Jets Arizona Atlanta Houston Kansas City Miami N.Y. Giants Oakland Tennessee Washington Cincinnati Pittsburgh Seattle San Francisco -
Well that was the greatest three day Intercontinental Title reign ever you have to admit that.
-
Ummm nope...because he's not the World Champ...Kurt Angle is.
-
I'll say what I said in the PPV thread...people are giving the title HHH holds waaaaaaaay more value that it has. HHH can hold the title for the rest of his career for all I care. The title is not what he wears around his waist but he himself is the title. HHH actually losing clean in a 1-on-1, non-gimmick match is the only thing that matters. Obviously this is not going to happen but I just don't think him holding the title itself means anything at all. If Orton or anyone else had won it would have meant NOTHING. That's the one thing about him that I think where he hasn't been smart enough to realize that the title means nothing and the real world title is currently held by Kurt Angle. I hope HHH stays is Ric Flair delusion mode and continues to hold the meaningless belt because Flair held it so many times. If he ever wakes up and decides to drop his vanity belt and position himself to get the real world title THEN and only then is the company truly fucked. Of course that might happen soon after October 25th.
-
Well he is two months away from being the son-in-law. I mean you got to keep him strong for the wedding...I know if I had a daughter I wouldn't want her marrying a loser.
-
Kane beats RVD and HHH retains...and some people actually act surprised?
-
Ohhh, STFU....I'm so sick of hearing that lineage shit...pro wrestling is FAKE, remember? And that has what to do with what I was saying?
-
You know people actually worry about who is going to win like the belt actually means something. You people really give it too much credit. Its still the distant #2 belt in the company. Even if Orton won (which he won't) it wouldn't mean shit.
-
I thought of that myself. They could of course just do the match at RR, with the same buildup. In an ideal world the WMXX main event would be Benoit/Lesnar or Benoit/Angle for the title where Benoit finally completes his journey. It would be fitting and deserved. And they could build it up big in the upcoming months. Emphasis on COULD. Benoit in the main event at any WrestleMania would be like the Cubs in the World Series...it ain't gonna happen.
-
They could throw Brock into the upper midcard now to pick up some wins and slowly get a new submission finisher over. Then you push him back into the main event for WMXX and do a Brock/Angle submission match there. The story would be that Brock tapped out in their last match and now he wants to prove that he can do the same to Kurt. That's just off the top of my head. Bleh I hate repeat main events at WrestleMania....anyways you do all know Vince will be main eventing WMXX....but that is for another day.
-
Its a valid point but I'd just prefer to see Angle move on to other things. There matches are good but their "feuds" have Bored me. I mean if you think about Angle hasn't had a program with anyone else in six months.
-
In all honesty if I had a worker bad mouthing my company I'd job him out too...although maybe I wouldn't have used him so bad to piss him off that he would publicly rip the company.
-
*cough* bullshit *cough* Yup cause the Stunner and Rock Bottom have lost SOOOOOOOOOOOO much credibility. Dude one fuckin' guy has kicked out of it...it just makes Angle look good is all. Oh and Brock has been in the company for 16 months now...how long should he have waited to tap out? Brock will be fine...so "QUIT YOUR BITCHING!"
-
Or a woman's title match. Oh and to add to that this match shouldn't be higher on the card than Angle/Lesnar...well neither should the Elimination Chamber...but fuck it I'm happy Angle won.
-
Angle won? Holy shit THAT is a surprise. For once WWE isn't 100% predictable in a high profile match. With Angle going over it makes me wonder why it was this far down the card? Oh and anyone who complains that Lesnar shouldn't be tapping give me a break. He's been built plenty strong and he ain't gonna be losing heat. Besides everyone would be complaining about a one month Angle title reign if Lesnar had won. I'm interested to see where they go with this.
-
That's why they should trade him to a team that could afford to re-sign him after 2004 like the Mets or Dodgers.
-
Yup Brock is winning tonight...and I guess Kurt gets the "honor" of wrestling Vince at No Mercy.
