  1. Like a great man once said... "If you're not cheating, you're not trying."
  2. I suppose we're suppose to be able to see Randy's hallucinations the same way we were able to see Kane's memories on Raw a couple of years ago.
  3. I always liked this pic. Anyhow... I was drafting a new roster on SD vs. Raw 2006 yesterday, and remember thinking to myself "Gee, it seems like they haven't used Christy on TV in a while..." as I skipped past her and drafted somebody who'd already been released last summer.
  4. Even many atheists celebrate Christmas. I seem to remember Michelle Malkin writing an article about the "Happy Holidays" controversy last year. I seem to remember her somehow equating it with religious persecution suffered by Christians overseas.
  5. The world's not black and white like that.
  6. I'd say he did a fairly good job getting Batista over. And I only categorized his booking skills as "pretty good", but not "great".
  7. Even 2002 was a better year than this.
  8. The thing about HHH (and for that mattter HBK) is that he's got a pretty good head for the business when he's not just trying to get just himself or his friends over.
  9. Low, but not impossible. Veronica Mars, for example.
  10. Triple H seems to be the lesser of 3 evils as far as taking over the company goes.
  11. I don't know if those networks have a lot of first-run programming, but I can tell you that first-run shows like "Desperate Housewives" and "Sex in the City" (back when it was on) seem to get huge ratings.
  12. What? And have Eddie and Benoit feud for the WWE Championship? Are you nuts? That's--- ... I really need to stop arguing with you. I'm not sorry the main event at WM20 wasn't HBK vs. HHH, though.
  13. What if Eddie had gone over to Raw instead of Benoit?
  14. I already knew about 40% of this (having heard Smith's account on his lecture tour DVD, and much of the rest of it from either Wizard or AICN--especially the JJ Abrams part), so it was nice to have the blanks filled in for me. I had no idea the production of Superman 4 was that screwed over, but if you watch the film it makes sense. Talk about low budget... (And Tim Burton hasn't made a good movie since "Ed Wood". ) I'm wondering where this article originated from, though. The people on the site you linked to didn't seem to know for sure, either. I'm not doubting its accuracy, just curious as to who wrote it and when it was written (before Bryan Singer was involved obviously).
  15. BOO-YAH!!!!!
  16. Damn server foul-up making me double post...
  17. Rey, Booker T, and Batista (a Fillipino-Greek guy from Virginia with the Hispanic last name).
  18. Truth. And I've noticed, at least to me, that Lawler kind of stepped up his game abit and is more bearable since Styles joined. I think Lawler's a full blown face now. That might make him a little more tolerable without him fellating the heels all of the time.
  19. Are you nuts? If Benoit had been champion on Smackdown, then we wouldn't have had the aborted Eddie run with JBL becoming cham--- Er, hum. Yes, you seem to have made a good point.
  20. Having Benoit go over Triple H one month, then the next month have him go over HBK (in Canada, by submisson) fits a little different definition of "suck" than I'm used to using. And Eddie/Brock probably would have resumed had Brock not quit.
  21. Must...avoid...temptation...to restart...argument...from last...week...
  22. They gave Holly the title shot because they wanted Benoit to win the Rumble. Didn't Brock go over Holly clean? On the one hand, it blew one great angle (Benoit/Lesnar), but created 2 good ones (HHH/Benoit/HBK and Eddie/Lesnar) from the ashes. If I remember the rumors correctly, Benoit was originally going to beat Brock at No Way Out until they decided HHH needed a fresh opponent for WM20. I think they worked the original Rumble finish (the one they used on the 15 man SD Royal Rumble before NWO) in because of the way Eddie was getting over HUGE at the time.
  23. Exhibit 34553B in the "Reasons to Turn Cena Heel" case.
  24. http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/12/01/vie...e.ap/index.html And don't EVEN get me started on the Spanish-American War. edit: Yes, I know there's an ironic typo in the thread title. Get over it.
