I can buy that reasoning, but it doesn't make sense for Jordan to go from holding his own then beating Benoit at GAB to getting killed by Benoit just a month later.

I know they wrestled a few times in late 2001/early 2002 (with Jericho consistently winning)... They did wrestle a heel-heel match on Raw shortly after No Way Out in 2002 for the Undisputed Title, but other than that I can't think of anything. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The only other match I can think of is they wrestled for the WCW title on the UK Rebellion PPV in late 2001. So, yeah, there's no reason not to let these guys have another PPV match.
