Probably because by the time this will be shown on TV, the DVD will have been out for a week. Actually, they often put trailers on DVDs that come out weeks before the advertised item itself. I doubt this 90 second trailer makes it onto TV.

For some reason I was thinking about the difference between Molly Ivins and Ann Coulter last night, and I decided that while Ivins comes to some pretty over-generalized conclusions based on limited amounts of evidence, its completely nullified by the fact that Coulter's insane. Replace the word "liberal" with "Jew" in everything Coulter writes and you'll quickly see how the woman's on a pretty dangerous path. The only thing missing is some psuedo-scientific explanation of how liberals are genetically inferior.

This reminds me of how they tell you not to weigh yourself every day if you're on a diet.

I love how they put "Available Now" on every trailer, whether it is or not, instead of the actual release date.

I find it hilarious the Republicans would try to run on issue they agree with most of the Democrats on. Most Democrats oppose gay marriage and want to keep the "under God".

The easiest response to this would be a quote from Maureen Dowd: "Cheney implies that John Kerry couldn't protect us from an attack like Sept. 11, blithely ignoring the fact that he and Bush didn't protect us from the real Sept.11."

I think the audio problem is a subconscious way of the WWE telling us they're really sorry they put the belt on Orton.

I like the way they're no-selling the Rock's 9 reigns (7 WWF/E, 2 WCW). Of course, they never kept the belt on him for very long after he'd win it...

He got cheered because he was a face doing a run-in, so I don't think that's a good gage of how over he might be. Orton was getting some pretty strong pops earlier in the night, as was Benoit.

Nova's name is Mike Bucci, though. Nova's got the chrisma, facials, and engery to make this work... I mean Nova did INVENT wrestling after all. Somebody please tell me the origin of that joke. I've been wondering it for the longest. The way I've heard it... don't take this as official... Someone used a move in a match, and Nova went on the record as saying that he invented it, the guy stole it from him, etc., etc. Whatever. This then hits the IWC, where a bunch of people (writers, message board posters) start making jokes about Nova inventing so-and-so, eventually turning into the overused running joke we have today. So does this mean Nova invented overused running jokes?
