  1. Oh, OK. Sorry about the misinterpretation. The heat between XPW and CZW really started around 2000, when Zandig tried to start an interpromotional deal with XPW and Black basically told him to fuck off. The Kaos issue didn't help things, obviously.
  2. Hey, I just realized - at the end of the video, it says NWATNA.com and not TNAWrestling.com. To quote the Hurricane...wuzzupwitdat?!
  3. I just watched a clip of him do it in IWA-MS in 2003 in the Best of IWA-MS 2003 Review MV, towards the end of the MV.
  4. If you want the video, IM me on Piratez4v3go2 and I'll send it to you.
  5. I've definitly seen him do it in IWA-MS a few times. I don't think he uses it much in Wildside.
  6. Then whats the move I'm thinking of?
  7. Chemical Imbalance: stand behind them like you're gonna hump them. Stick your hands through your knees and grab their arms. Lift them up and catch them in a Storm Cradle Piledriver. Basically an Armlock Storm Cradle Piledriver (Ric Blade's version). In Vitro Fertilization: Fisherman's Samoan Drop
  8. It's good to see that Akuma is keeping the NAWF's tradition alive and still defending their title. I got some good memories of his matches with Spider.
  9. Speaking of Messiah, I just saw him vs. Mondo from EPIC in full for the first time (only had seen the MV previously) and to say it was a letdown would be an understatement. Jay Doring rating this match ***** is the biggest joke I've ever heard of...talk about a bad taste in wrestling. Maximum of *** (I guess I can see ***1/2, but ANYTHING above that is ridiculous), and it doesn't even come close to Messiah vs. Supreme from Go Funk Yourself. Truly one of the most overpimped matches I've ever seen. Good stuff, but nowhere NEAR the quality people hype it as, and it's not just my tastes - as a death match, it was nothing more than great, and even that would be pushing it. I don't know what people see in it that makes it more special than some of IWA-MS, CZW, and even XPW's death match stuff.
  10. EDIT: Now that I think about it, it's probably not worth even touching this one.
  11. Well, Grimes is having health problems right now, so there's no way he could've done it. I don't think Webb's doing wrestling anymore since he got married to Veronica Caine, so I'm surprised they didn't pick Angel.
  12. They announced Mongol as the third person? That sucks - I wish it was Angel or someone like that, but the show itself still looks good. AWS seems to be somewhat underrated.
  13. They were never booked to work each other in XPW. You're thinking of CZW. Kaos was going to work Messiah in CZW, but Rob Black used his political pull and threatened Kaos' XPW job if he appeared, so Chris Hamrick subbed for Kaos. Their only matches were in JCW and PCW, and they most definitely have no heat with one another and never have. They've always been the best of friends, dating back to their XPW days, and have kept in constant contact ever since Messiah left XPW (Kaos is one of the few guys Messiah really trusted during the thumb ordeal).
  14. Zandig has been trying to bring Pain back for like a year, and it just worked out about a month ago. Messiah's doing pretty good lately. He changed his look and grew longer hair, but is the same wrestler he was.
  15. No, I'm just happy Kaos is finally getting some more bookings. Messiah vs. Kaos has happened twice before - in JCW (never released on tape) and in PCW. What's cool is it's happening on a bigger platform. And 12?
  16. EXCUSE ME~! EXCUSE ME~!
  17. Vic Grimes at XPW Halloween In Hell 2 was absolutely disgusting.
  18. Sweet site. Thanks for the link.
  19. Jack was planning an autobiography as of a year and a half ago. I hope he still is because that'd be cool to read.
  20. Q and A September 7, 2004 Q: If there were a Tough Enough 4 would you consider being one of the teachers? A: There is going to be a Tough Enough 4, and I am not interested in teaching on it. I have my hands full where I am and enjoy working with my people in OVW. Q: What is the biggest bump you’ve ever taken? A: I’ve taken several Power Bombs off the tope rope from Chris Candito, which are likely the biggest. Q: What is your opinion of Teddy Hart? A: I don’t know Teddy well, but he seems to have a lot of talent, but needs to mature a lot yet. Q: Have you ever had a Ladder Match? A: I’ve had two of these both with Chris Jericho, and both in Calgary. I even won them both. Q: Did you prefer working on RAW or Smack Down? A: There were high lights and low lights of both. I can’t really pick they all blend in together at this point. Q: How hard is travel in WWE? A: Hard enough that Brock Lesnar walked away from a multi-million dollar contract. This is the toughest job there is from a travel standpoint. Between 200 and 260 days a year on the road with no off-season. Unless you love it like we do, it will kill you. Q: Which of your Title Reigns meant the most? A: I look at Title Reigns different than most people, so this is a real tough question. The Three Titles run in WCW got me the most recognition so I will have to go with that one. Q: Who was the most fun to work with? A: I don’t think I can pick just one person, as there are so many variables and great guys to work with. Don “Cyrus” Callis, and I had so much fun at times, Jerry Lynn I’d work for free, Tommy Dreamer was always, excuse the pun, a Dream, Champaign Gerry Morrow, Chris Candito, the list goes on and on. Q: What are your thoughts on working Spike Dudley? A: Spike is one of the few people I’ve actually been in near fight with back stage over a finish. On an ECW house show in Baton Rough (I think) he out right refused to let me put him over. We sat and argued for close to 20 minutes before I finally had to all but threaten him into letting me do the job. Other than his difficultness, I absolutely love working with Spike. Q: What are your thoughts on Bam Bam Bigelow’s retirement? A: This is news to me and I wish Bammer well. We worked in Japan and ECW together and I got to both know and like him. His work in Japan was off the charts, man he could control that ring. Q: What are your thoughts on the new dress code? A: I can see both sides to this. I’m not a big fan of blanket policies, but some people needed to professional up a bit. Looking good is an asset, but it does cost us our individuality, which is very important in wrestling. We must relate to our fans and have them relate to us. Austin is a prime example. He wore jean shorts and T-shirts, and was a Texas Red Neck. People saw that that was real and related to it. I also think that if we all dress up HHH and Evolution lose part of their uniqueness. I think there is a happy medium that might better serve everyone, but guys showing up at airports in tank tops and ripped sweats had to stop. Q: Is there a gimmick you would refuse to do? A: There likely is but it would have to be extremely distasteful, as I have always been a team player and done what I was told. Q: Do you consider yourself under rated in your WWE career? A: I don’t think under rated is the right word. I think I was respected as a very talented individual by fans, co-workers, and the office. I think they all rated me very highly. I think I could have been utilized more, at times, but that is true of so many people. I had a ton of opportunities in WWE, and had a lot of fun. I worked with almost the entire roster and held titles on 5 occasions. I look back at my WWE career fondly. Q: Were you on the 2002 Plane ride from Hell? A: Nope I missed that one! Q: Who is the stiffest wrestler you ever worked with? A: Koji Kitao, a former Grand Champion in Sumo. I worked with him numerous times in Japan. His kicks rattled every bone in your body. He was 6’ 8” and weight 390 lbs I think at the time Q: Has anyone ever stiffed you on purpose? A: There are likely a few, but only one that I know for sure was on purpose. The late Pitt Bull 2 and I got into a bit of a fight in a battle royal in Vienna Austria. I’m saving the rest of the details for my book. You guys better hope it gets published some day I’m teasing you with a lot of tid bits. (LOL) Q: Do you have a favourite RAW Diva? A: I have to keep it in the family, Victoria. Q: What is the stupidest question you have ever been asked? A: You mean apart from this one? Q: Have you ever feared getting hurt like Droz? A: What happened to Droz was horrific, but you can’t think about stuff like that. If we did we would never be able to perform. Q: Was the Dynamite Kid the best wrestler ever, in your opinion? A: I don’t think there is one best ever, and I’d have to have worked with him to give a fair opinion. Q: Do you have a pension fund set up? A: I’ve had a financial plan set up for years. I am not going to be wrestling or selling autographs at 65. Q: Is Ken Shamrock the most dangerous man to ever step foot in a WWE ring? A: I wouldn’t say so no. He may be the most skilled fighter (not that I would know that for sure either) but skilled fighters don’t put you on the most dangerous list. Guys like King Tonga, or Fit Finlay, are dangerous people. Q: Sid considers himself the greatest wrestler of ever. DO you agree? A: He may say he considers himself that but I doubt he honestly believes it, at least not using the word “wrestler”. Please! Q: Hulk Hogan said he considers wrestlers to be the greatest athletes alive. Do you agree? A: I think some of us are. You certainly can’t group us all together. Kurt Angle is, Hulk Hogan, not so much. No offence Hulkster but I don’t see you placing in the Decathlon at any point in your career. (LOL) Q: What do they mean when the announcer says. “This bout scheduled for one fall”? A: It means it a regular run of the mill match that will be over when one guy takes a fall. (pin fall, submission, etc.) That’s it for another week, or so. Keep those questions coming. Lance
  21. EXCLUSIVE NEWS about New Jack Date: 9/9/2004 By: RF VIDEO I just got a phone call from New Jack and he is officially done with Pro Wrestling. He made it clear that he is not going to be like Terry Funk and come back to the sport again. His body and other problems led him to his decision to hang up his boots. New Jack will always be remembered for being one of the most violent men in ECW and pro wrestling all over the world. He is one of the more controversial figures in our sport. New Jack started his career is USWA and then moved on to Smokey Mountain wrestling teaming with Mustafa as they were a tag team called The Gangsters. He had a falling out with Jim Cornette and wound up in ECW around 1995. The gangsters made their first NY appearance at Heat Wave '95 in Middletown, ny at the Orange County Fairgrounds Vs Public Enemy. In ECW they had some of the greatest brawls with the Dudleys and Eliminators. New Jack was always the kind of guy that spoke his mind which led to several backstage fights including one with Brian Pillman that I was a witness to. Most of his fights with the Sandman were nothing more than two friends fighting and making up the next day. When Mustafa left ECW New Jack still was able to keep himself on top as the most over babyface besides The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer. On 11-23-1996 New Jack will always be remembered for what he did to Eric Kulas that cold night in Boston. He was never convicted for cutting Eric Kulas with a huge knife sort of like a box cutter. We just released that video by the way. When ECW folded New Jack was able to be a major player on the Indy scene. He worked for XPW, TNA, and USA Pro. New Jack never was the same after his injury that he had at the ECW PPV in CT with Vic Grimes. Jack was thrown off a scaffold and landed head first into the hard floor. Vic Grimes also fell with Jack and landed on him. New Jack suffered permanent eye problems from that bump which was not planned. RF VIDEO just sat down with New Jack about a month ago for one of our best shoot interviews to date. He is the only guy besides Steve Corino that has done three shoot interviews with us. We wish New Jack the best of luck in his future and the wrestling world will miss him. Do I think he will be back? This is Pro wrestling so we will have to see. My (LucharesuFan619's) note (don't want it to be confused with RF, who wrote the above): I know someone who's very good friends with New Jack personally and he confirms that Jack is done. Which is weird, since Meltzer just posted earlier today Jack was booked vs. Justin Credible in a few weeks for USA Pro. Bill Behrens had been insisting that Jack would retire in December 2004 at NWA Wildside Christmas Chaos, but obviously that wasn't meant to be. I'm not New Jack's biggest fan, but he is a character like none other. He has so many strip club stories you'd think he's a pimp instead of a wrestler. Truly someone you can't get bored talking to, if you're willing to crack some smiles every now and then. MY QUESTION: Why the fuck is ROB FEINSTEIN talking to New Jack, when New Jack AND his lawyer/associate Bob Barnett have publicly hated RF for years? This business sure is weird. I thought they HATED each other - not just disliked, but hated. Crazy.
  22. I dunno, maybe their series with XXX was all XXX (that doesn't look right, if you get my drift), but even if it was, it shows ya how good XXX is. Skipper's another guy I'd like to see in WWE, specifically vs. Paul London. I've been wanting to see that match for awhile now. Too bad they'd just job him and not capitalize on his charisma (and Skipper has a lot of it). As for Daniels, I wrote an article about the pros and cons of him going to WWE on ObsessedWithWrestling.com awhile back. Overall, it'd screw up his career, as most who follow it should be aware of. As for Sabu - he's been helping out in TNA a lot, but specifically with Monty, Abyss, and Alex Shelley. Those guys seem to be his three proteges as of late. Don't be fooled - Sabu knows his shit. If I was an up-and-coming wrestler and could get tips from him, I'd be more than happy.
  23. Interesting indeed. Definitely not something that was expected. An interduo feud (D/St vs. Sk/H) could be pretty cool I guess.
  24. You really don't see them going after AMW, Laz? I mean, AMW seems like the typical duo WWE would be after - both size and style wise. Them vs. WGTTP (Haas/Benjamin - assuming they're still teaming...I don't know - I don't watch WWE much anymore, besides Velocity) would be pretty cool to see, IMO. Maybe in '02 they weren't seasoned enough, but they've improved since, and have started - at least to a degree - to develop some charisma (now granted, I don't see TNA every week, I usually download a couple matches of the show, but from what I've seen of them lately, they've improved in the ring and more so on the mic). I agree - I could definitely see Monty in WWE. TNA - for all they've done wrong - have really done something quite good with him. He's no A+ level worker, but he's learning fast, and when you got guys like Sabu giving you tips, it's hard to go wrong (unless you take his advice about how to break a table ).
  25. Batts cuts the most intense promos on earth. They really need to give him a mic, but knowing TNA they would have to manufacture a new one that doesn't say "Jarrett" on it. Dusty/D'Amore, though? Yuck.
