The CSB is sort of like a Northern Lights Bomb where you cradle the opposite leg than waht's usually cradled with a Northern Lights Bomb. Ya, Hero's Weclome = LR/ROTD.

Why is Shane Douglas an interviewer in TNA?
LucharesuFan619 replied to UZI Suicide's topic in TNA Wrestling
The injuries piled up. Plus, he has two kids and a wife at home who he wants to spend time with. In the last few years, he's been a shell of his former self in the ring, so it's probably best that he did leave in-ring competition temporarily. He's not retired permanently. He still works a match every few months for smaller indies, but he's slowing down his bookings right now. I know of one wrestler who met him two years ago and every day he watched a Shane Douglas match after getting to know him - whether it be from his ECW, WWF, WCW, XPW, USA Pro, WWA, whatever days - would stop, turn off the VCR once Douglas' match came on, and say a prayer that he was alright now before turning the VCR back on and watching the match. That's how bad the injuries were piling up for him and those around him knew it. -
Before they became known WWE superstars
LucharesuFan619 replied to AmazingRen's topic in The WWE Folder
Betcha ya didn't know Paul London was the fan that Scott Steiner attacked at either WCW Sin or Greed (I forget which). -
I'm not sure where this would fit in when it comes to forums, so I guess it goes here. I remember hearing various times in the past that there's some web site that lets you search to find out what person, copmany, organization, etc. owns a particular trademark. I know in the WWE forum people have posted stuff about reports surfacing on how [insert wrestler name] has been trademarked by WWE, and then start speculating that WWE probably plans on bringing in a guy by that name (or if it's a well known name, on hiring that guy and registering his name legally). I sorta remember a couple of those types of posts actually having links to what was apparently the official record for that trademark on some web site...I guess a trademark web site of some sort....but I never had any interest in seeing for myself, but lately I've gotten curious. Is there such a web site? Let's say I wanna see for myself if WWE has registered [insert wrestler name]. Is there a way I can do that? Is there a way I could search the records of WWE and see what they have trademarked? Heck, outside of wrestling, is there a way to see what company has [insert product name] trademarked, or which company has trademarked the book title [insert book title] by seraching a web site? Is that possible to do? And if so, what web site do I go to?

I got a couple of dates and matches that they're missing. Not many though. What's really weird is that I was working on EXACTLY this over the last few months - compiling a record of every single of of Sabu's matches I could find. Weird. His PWA Collision With Tradition loss to Balls Mahoney on 3/9/03 in Danbury, CT isn't listed. I don't seem to see his GSCW match vs. Messiah either, although that may be in there and I may be missing it. EDIT: Sabu worked Owen Hart? Now THAT'S a weird combo... Also, anyone know if there are other record books like these online anywhere for different wrestlers, other than Sabu, and if so where they can be found?

Jay - just read the review yesterday and am getting the chance to respond today. Good job. The style you used came out well. Show sounded fun.

Interview: Leroy the Ring Crew Guy
LucharesuFan619 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Latest update: Expect in the next week the official preview for the retrospective, featuring the release date of part one and much more. Also, drop any questions you have for JR Benson (famous indy manager in So-Cal; took the sickest chairshot in the history of wrestling PERIOD back in '94 from Sabu [you'll believe it when you see it]; he managed in XPW for awhole) and Joe LaChance (had a radio show back in '99 on which he interviewed some XPW wrestlers; he also dealt with Rob Black, Kevin Kleinrock, and others). More names will continue to be announced! The full story on the most controversial wrestling promotion in the history of California, from those who lived it: IT'S COMING... -
Uh, actually, his web site has plenty of transcripts from his TNA matches. I've been using that site every week for the last few months in working on an article on the Raven vs. Sabu feud that I'll finally be posting in the next few days. The transcripts aren't in the Interviews or Transcripts section. You have to go into the results section of the site and almost every promo he did is transcribed. I've been using those all the time as of late because I don't get TNA. RavenEffect.com>Results>Year of Choice>Month of show you want the promo of. And look no further than that.

Sunset-flip piledriver. Chris Bosh's Maximum Bosh and Photo Op Maximum Bosh is either a backdrop suplex lift into a sideslam or a Steiner Screwdriver. Never heard've the Photo Op.

Indy matches that have never happened
LucharesuFan619 replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I'm sorry, but I don't see the appeal in either one of these. This isn't even an XPW bias, since I think Chris Cash is a horrible backyard-level worker, and anything with him involved is usually anything but a "dream match". As for Kaos/Acid...well, I saw Kaos in JAPW a few months back, and I absolutely despised his match with Justice Pain. So, unless that's just a bad example of his work, I doubt I'd like him today. As for Trent Acid, let me show my affection towards him now... No offense taken, or anything. I also don't like Cash usually, but his matches with Sonjay, Ruckus, Derek Frazier, and a few others I've liked. I can't really argue with you...I don't like Cash much either. There's just something about the match that makes me wanna see it, sorta. I can't really put my finger on it as to what. I would like to see Acid vs. Kaos. Kaos has a new fire lit under his ass. His JAPW match...I haven't seen it and I can't act like I have, and judging by what almost everyone has said, it was pure shit...but don't let that get you down on the guy. Regardless of what some people will tell you, Kaos CAN go. His matches with Hamrick, Doring, and ESPECIALLY Juvi were very good. There's a reason why New Japan was negotiating to bring him in as a developmental talent. The guy's got losts of potential, and his charisma is bright as can be. Acid and he have similar gimmicks, both of which are based on over-the-top arrogance. Both guys come from similar backgrounds and were pushed as the RVD of their respective promotions. Acid has had fantastic matches with Homicide as of late and I'm the first to admit - he can look awkward in the ring, especially when going up against big guys - but he's very solid when he wants to. I'd want to see it not just because of the similarity in styles, but also in gimmicks. -

LucharesuFan619 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in TNA Wrestling
It's either this past week's or the week before that. They just add a new one every week. You can only view one every week. They delete it when they put the next one up. -
http://www.tnarevolution.com/media/xplosion/ Apparently, they also have TNA's permission in doing this.

Give me tips for making a wrestling music video
LucharesuFan619 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in Technology
Hey, everyone - thanks for all the tips. Unfortunately, the sound aspect of my verson of the program is fucked up, I guess, so I don't think I'll be able to make the video. Unless, I mean, is there another program you can download that uses WMV clips, or is Windows Movie Maker the only program that is compatible with that format of clips? EDIT: Oh my fucking lord...I did it. I fucking did it. It fucking works. In Kris Kloss's words, HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did it by upgrading to the newest version of WMM and working on it in that program. I'll explain how I did it prolly tomorrow...right now I'm just too psyched to explain and I wanna start working on it. But, what I will say is...FUCK YES! ::marks out:: -
MLW veteran Chasyn Rance booked for dark match
LucharesuFan619 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in TNA Wrestling
He's been training with Teddy Hart in Calgary over the past few months, so hopefully his skills will be able to hang with Elix Skipper, Sabin, Kazarian, etc...then again, they'll probably just job him to Abyss or someone like that... -
Well, Teddy HAS been spending tons of times at bars as of late, according to Chasyn Rance's online journals. So, it's definitely possible. And like someone said, with his arrogant attitude, it's especially likely.
-
According to his web site, ChasynRance.com (which just recently got a new layout; check it out!), Chasyn Rance - who both wrestles and referees, kinda like Andrew Thomas of TNA and Wildside, I guess - will be competing on the September 1 Impact event in Florida in a dark match. I haven't seen him work all that much, besides his MLW matches, which he didn't really do tons in. Is he alright?
-
People would probably just bitch that they're copying WCW's cruiserweight tag team division. It sure would make for some great matches, though.

I got to wondering...what's going on with Juggalo Championshit (that's the name, I'm not making fun of it or something) Wrestling and the ICP? What's up with the 2004 Gathering of the Juggalos convention? Is there gonna be one? They've had it the last three or four years and have bought some big ass talent in, like Sabu, Vampiro, and Shane Douglas, along with some great indy talent, but since last year when M-Dogg 20 murdered himself with an Asai Moonsault, I haven't heard any news on this year's event, and last year it took place in February, IIRC. You'd think that after getting exposure relatively recently in TNA that the ICP would try to capitalize on the wrestling side of their endeavors as much as possible. Ya, I know they were backstage at the backyard wrestling convention show in San Francisco a few weeks ago and one of them (who'll rename nameless) even had a rundown with another wrestler who was backstage (" "), and its also obvious that they branched out last year into the backyard wrestling game, but still...come on...they didn't just decide to concentrate full-time on promoting the BYW games, did they? They're still on great terms with Rudeboy and have been for the past what...three, four years? So, what's to lose? I mean, run a show with some of the big names like those they've brought in before and they'll get the video game tons more publicity than it already has. It's wierd because more than any other year that the convention has occurred, the ICP could capitalize on their success and exposure in the wresting business as of late, but I haven't heard a damn thing about any of it. Anyone have any info on what's going on with these guys and the (now former?) GOTJ convention?

Hey, Donners - you're right. I'm sorry about that. Really. I started scrolling down and suddenly saw a bunch of quotes (someone else besides you did it too), and it got really annoying. What I thought it was was quotes from the above PBP I posted. Shoulda checked first, obviously. Sorry about that. Please accept my apology.

People, I'm no mod (and I wouldn't be able to handle the job if I was, probably), but *please* stop fucking quoting ENTIRE posts of other people. It's so annoying to scroll through. Just edit down the quote selection to what you're referring to.
