well both the episodes the Polar bears appeared, Walt was reading the comic book with the polar bear in it. So I think that was more his shinning (in a scottish accent) that summoned it, like that bird he was reading and thinking about in that flashback. The others seemed more like they were symbols.

Heh, ironically in college a couple of days ago I started singing the California Dreams theme in college. One of my friends had no idea what I was talking about. A few mins later another one of my friends came into the room we were in and I started to sing it. A little after I started he just smirked and reluctantly sang/spoke the rest of the lyrics with me. They have to bring out that show soon.

Oh yeah, I also remembered my friend saying something about a week ago that some people had figured out what time the series takes place. You know the way the producers etc keep hinting that supposedly the series doesn't particularly happen now. He basically said that the sight said along these lines: There was a few other things he said, but I was drinking and I half believe these theories myself, Just thought i'd pass them on if people were interested.

You were clearing crumbs from between the keys with the knife. When taking out some of the crumbs, you decide to eat one of the crumbs that appears to be oreo. You were wrong and it was really old bread that had turned black and mouldy. This makes you woozy, the room is spinning and you pass out. When you reawake you are at your computer desk and you have forgotten about what made you pass out (probably mentally blocked by the stomach churning expierience). This is why you can't remember the knife.

What? they got rid of him? ah fuck, why do they have to ruin all the things that were good. The room is spinning now. soon enough they are going to make Elmo come out because same-sex parents will want their kids to have a role model.

Do you think that the "incodent" that happend with using the computers for something other than typing in the numbers was creating, or at least activating/fucking with the defense system, and thats why its going wild around the island now? Also, i'm a bit suspicious about Walt being on the other end of the the computer. could it have been another who just used the word "dad" as in reference to realising that Michael is Walt's father? Walt could have used his name around the people that took him, and they made a connection when Micheal typed. It is a bit ironic that as soon as they watch the video that suddenly there is talking on the computer though.

People need to realise that the people on the island dont even know who the others are. Jin called the tail end section "others" Tail enders called those people in rags "others" Our main crew called ethan etc "others" It hasnt really been set. But if anything people like Ethan etc are the head honchos ( unless the scientists are slightly above them) and those people in rags are beneath ethan etc. They are all others in a sense, there is just a ranking system.

I always got confused with him, and the Grandfather from the 3 ninja movies. Shame he's dead though. Oh and was Karate Kid 2 the one where they go back to Japan, and have that stupid drum? If so, that movie was so boring.

I just hope the "big scene at the end of Ootp doesn't come across as "Scooby Doo" as it did in the book. Thats the main part of that book that really annoyed me. Well, that and Harry being a moan bastard for the majority of it.

Eddie was a good idea, but you couldnt read that essay of profanities everytime he posted.
