I think holly was outside of the ring doing a full nelson and didn't appear to let go when people started coming out to get it back in the ring and Holly just goes flying. It looked like he was attacked, so the camera man pans to the side and finlay looks to be getting held back himself. I may be exaggerating the hell outta this, but this is how I remember it, and I was laughing my ass off.

I just remembered Finlay stiffing Holly during that match. Yet another reason for me to buy the DVD. God, I can't wait to watch that again.

I remember it well and thought it was equally as obvious that they were totally fucked at that point and worked right back to the same spot. If you want to use the "maybe some people didn't notice" logic, you could easily say that Jericho avoided it by not letting Orton catch his head since he was holding onto Batista, and then when Randy went back a second time, Jerico thought he'd meet him head on since he knew what was coming, but was caught in the RKO. It's still repeating the spot.

And what did Kurt do after that botched DDT, you ask? HE REPEATED THE SPOT. I guess that makes him a complete jackass for repeating a spot that was CRUCIAL to the match.

Benoit would profit greatly from the wrestling announcers putting him over and giving a damn and not a guy too busy creaming over Austin being in the ring and the other shilling for a "Playboy shocker" that most of us already know the end result of. These are the guys we hear for the 2 hours of Raw and they should do thier damndest to make it seem important or at least put what is happening for Benoit all into perspective. The crowd sees his effort and his skill that has been displayed for 18 years. The story writes itself.

The best thing they could do is make the audience want to see them hook up, and not just be waiting for chicken shit Kane to get his ass kicked. Why the hell can't he begin to start egging on Taker and no selling all his little noise effects and videos. I want to see him scowl in the face of all the Dead Man hoopla and just get ready for the fight. He's seen all the Taker bullshit, he's been involved in plenty of the same things (The dumpster anyone?) Why would he be at all freaked out?

Very to the point. There isn't a clear cut opponent for him at the moment, since it seems like HBK/HHH will have round 6 soon. He went on about his 18 years and basically said he'll be waiting on the winner. We can judge his promos when they are tied in to a feud.

Just out of spite for the fact that I had to do it, I hope some random retard argues for 4 pages with you about this. All the while getting called apologist, idiot etc... I've been in too many arguments like this where we just go about posting our respective thoughts on certain matches, and it ends up being a pointless compare and contrast which all the while boils down to just "it's my opinion". I said my piece. So be it.

Take a look at how it should have been done by watching the 2nd time. You can see Jericho lets go of Batista's legs in order to try and encounter the oncoming Orton. It was a mistiming on both parts. Jericho had the hold in completely and there was no way he could get into ANY kind of position to be pulled down the opposite way to his face. He was supposed to let go and meet Orton head on the FIRST time, but probably just didn't see him coming. I don't really put any blame on either guy, as shit happens sometimes, and I fail to see why any gloating on how Orton has always sucked or plodding along about how all his momentm is now dead is really necessary.

Halo 2 will be #1.

I've never seen a Brain Pillman match, and he remains one of the last few praised wrestlers I haven't watched often. What are some of his best matches, and what would you rate them? why are they so great? Give me your thoughts on the guy in the ring (maybe some strengths/weaknesses). I greatly appreciate it.

I love when people want to know something like "How can you get into it when it isn't real, the end is already picked out and it isn't a real athletic contest?" I then ask them if they saw a good movie lately.

Help me out here. I've been pondering picking this one up for a while, and the general buzz sounds good. I love to hear you guys take on things like this, so throw me a bone.

The mint on card pictures have been released and Bret's face looks much better. They got lazy and left Andre with 2 straps, but added a robe to HHH which improves that figure. Warrior and shawn are pretty much exactly as pictured, and, unfortunately, so is Taker. Pretty cool though. Didn't Warrior just show up in WCW as "Warrior"? I mean it is his LEGAL name. WWE may own the rights to the "Ultimate Warrior".

I could have sworn Benoit also had the WCW TV around the time he was beginning to get pushed ( right before the US title reign). I think he won it off of Hall or something during the nWo 2000 thing.

That song was excellent, IMO. I only buy this DVD for the Raw Survivor Series match (HBK owned it) and the fact that this is Nathan Joners' only PPV match he actively participated in.

I ordered Vengeance a few weeks ago from WWE.com because they had them at 9.98. when watching the three-way main, it was even better than I remembered. The false finishes were incredible and Angle was booked REALLY strong.

Honestly, I like this sort of thing happening, and I like how Evolution is being shilled so hard. I know WWE will have Orton/HHH splitting up Evolution sometime, and they have to try and make the group meaningful, so perhaps people will care. If they would have broken them up at say Unforgiven when we thought it might happen, who would have given a shit? That's what they are booking towards now. Did they do it correctly? No. HHH was not on Raw for 2 weeks, walked in and grabbed the belt in a show filled with the lame nWoesque stable members cause distraction leading to the heel pin. It's so fucking half assed. Then, you KNOW HHH and Orton and Flair (probably not Batista) will get the old heels are pussys treatment, making them look like complete douches and that they are just holding the belts or keeping them warm for the next face. Them having the belts mean nothing. It sickens me that this happened, but it makes sense, I guess, considering where the storylines will be headed. It sucks, but so did the Invasion. I'm still gonna watch and I'll enjoy the good stuff.

I'm not one to beat a dead horse, in this case about hosses in wrestling, but can anyone think of an example here? Has wrestling in the last 20 years ever brought a new guy into a federation with no prior experience as a top name somewhere else and pushed them as a serious threat, that wasn't a big hulking guy? Has there ever been someone say a Steve Austin or shawn Michael's size that was just brought in, and has his skills showcased to be treated like a big tar? Cases like the most recent in Matt Morgan where guys are just brought in to demolish the undercard and eventually get the title push are REALLY wearing my patience thin. will a new guy ever be packaged well and brought in a serious threat because he looks marketable and is not a hoss? Has this even happened before?

I know a difference in the Farley DVD from the old tape is the "Hybernol" skit replaces the much overused "Schmitz Gay". I'm sure there is some extra stuff in there as DVD extras, since I have the Ferrel DVD and it has plenty of little extra stuff.
