"Over" is the fan's acceptance of a performer, "draw" is being over to the point they will pay to see you, I thought this was the appropriate usage. Meaning people are over, but no one's a draw.

You can be over without being a draw, but drawing is the highest form of being over. Example, Hogan can't draw anymore, but was over to the fans, albeit as a nostalgia act. It all comes down to semantics though, I guess.

I've seen players in many sports get hit by stuff. I have never heard a commentator call it a "disgrace" when they don't go into the crowd, or say they would've been justified going into the crowd.
