Much better lineup on paper than last week. Four good games, plus the Green Bay-Minnesota battle to take over the division lead at 2-4 should be amusing.

Of course Bream was such a slow runner that he stole six bases in six tries that year, and only grounded into three double plays in 372 at bats. And his knees were shot. Him scoring on that play would be comparable to John Olerud scoring on that play. I read an interview with Cabrera himself where he joked that it usually took a triple for Bream to score from second.

Jim Rome used to joke about that all the time on his show, how Bonds couldn't beat a 78-year-old man (Bream) home on a throw from deep short.
