I assume we are about the same age, because these three are my firsts, too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess I kinda fit in with both groups here because Suns/Bulls is the first NBA Finals I remember, but I remember both Cowboys/Bills Super Bowls, I remember Jays/Braves before Jays/Phillies, and the Canadiens/Kings is my first Stanley Cup Finals. Oh, and while we're going down the list, I remember UNC beating Michigan on Webber's epic choke, and I'm pretty sure that FSU winning it all was the first college football year I remember. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My first WS memory was the Cardinals beating the Brewers. In 1982. Man, I feel old. Other firsts: Celtics over Rockets, 49ers over Bengals, Islanders over Oilers, Colorado/GA Tech split championship (the 5th down season) and Michigan over Seton Hall. I did. I got into the NBA in 1986, and didn't start watching the NFL until 1988.

Well, that was okay. It's nice to see them get out of the country and mangle a foreign language like everyone else. It was so unbelievably obvious that it was a non-elimination, though. And for the race planners to put the ONLY FF ON THE FREAKING RACE on a NON-ELIMINATION LEG shows how horrible the planning has been for this entire race. And get rid of the mugging already. I never even considered anything besides Starrcade 97 before opening this thread. They took a fantastic, drawn-out, superhot angle and killed it dead in one night, thanks to ego, shortsightedness, and general ineptitude. That's WCW in a nutshell.

Just finished watching the last 3 weeks of episodes that I downloaded. This is my new favourite show. And yeah, Cobie Smulders is HAWT.

The only problem with rawmvp's account getting deleted is that he's not on my ignore list anymore, so I have to wade through his crap for the next couple of days.

If there's one guy in the business who deserves to catch a break, it's Chris Kanyon.

The only athlete episode I really liked was The Rock. I HATED the Jeter and Roddick episodes, I only tolerated the Gordon one b/c of Avril and the Tom Brady episode sucked too. If Lance is willing to make fun of himself and shows some range, maybe they can do something good for him. Too often the show is either a recurring character fest or the host just plays himself. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They haven't had a good athlete host in years. The Michael Jordan one to start the 1991 season was the best I can remember.
