Yeah, I noticed it being on tomorrow night. I don't think I'll watch it though, I think the ad breaks would kill it plus they'll have probably heavily edited the thing. That said, I agree with all of Dan's post (and he must be CRAZY to make such a long-winded post) except for the following: I'm not going to be a dickhead and correct the spelling of Pacino and that the film is Training Day (well, aside from doing it just then) but rather saying Denzel deserved the Oscar for Malcolm X. I thought Stephen Rea got robbed from The Crying Game, and also liked Eastwood's performance in Unforgiven. And Washington did nothing for me in Training Day, and I'd say him beating Russel Crowe was the biggest Oscar disgrace in history, barring perhaps Oliver! beating 2001: A Space Odyssey. I decided to vote for Part II after much deliberation, btw. I have no idea who the hell it was who voted for Part III.

I've felt this way since probably about the beginning of the year. Now that FrigidSoul has done the mass cleanup of 0 post accounts, I am curious as to when we will open registrations again?
-
And this was such a defining moment of your life that you had to post it here and create a thread about over a year later because...???
-
I'm asking this because I just was watching the second one yesterday and found I wasn't sure if I prefered it or the first, so I figured I'd put it to a poll. Which do you think was best (and please don't vote for one if you've only seen one)?

I firmly believe that's the greatest song The Stones ever did. I don't even particularly like Sticky Fingers as an album, but that song is brilliant. Van Morrison - Sweet Thing

I agree with Papacita, killing a conversation is far worse. I do it every so often, mainly because being in another time zone my main posting times are when nobody is on. Getting the last post in every folder isn't a bad idea though. I may try that tonight.

What an abnormal selection of albums.

Yes, it reminds me of that time Marlena was possessed by the devil and Stefano pushed her off the balcony. Um, I mean, yeah, exactly like Days Of Our Lives.

The fact I've been here quite some time and yet still one of the youngest (according to this thread, anyway) makes me wonder how young I was comparatively when I began posting here. Geez, no wonder everyone ignored me. It had to be that and not at all because of my poor quality as a poster.

Meat Loaf - For Crying Out Loud Amazing ending to an amazing album.

Just recently I was trying to figure out when I ceased liking The Simpsons. And then I realised that it was (and also the last episode I ever watched in its entirety) the episode in which Maude Flanders died. Absolutely killed my interest in the show, because that was one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. What was the name of that episode, and when did it come along (ie. what series etc.)???
-
How would you rate quality of the show thus far (ie. pre-death)?

I really don't like rap. Thus my top five: 1. Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby 2. Kriss Kross - Jump 3. Morris Minor & The Majors - The Stutter Rap 4. Salt N Pepa - Push It 5. MC Hammer - U Can't Touch This I really like the late 80s/early 90s, however.

Non Spoiler Smackdown/Velocity match listings
spiny norman replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in The WWE Folder
As someone who has read the spoilers, can I let everyone know that this could very possibly be the worst showing of Smackdown ever. Maybe watchable in the "so bad that it's good sense", but don't go on with high hopes, the spoilers look pretty abysmal. -
And why do they always involve Torrie Wilson?

When I was about eleven years old and only watching WCW at the time, I fantasy booked a Nitro. If you subsitute Kurt Angle for Hulk Hogan, Big Show for The Giant, Rob Van Dam for Sting etc. I think they've copied almost exactly my show.

Whereabouts in Sydney? I am 17, but when I began posting here I was at the wee age of 13, so I empathise with being nearly the youngest on the board, SFJEB. Now if only I could find someone to empathise with me having spent four years on this board. I'm so lonely!

If you had to fight one of these 80's synth acts..

I voted for M. How I hate that Pop Muzik song. -
Yeah, not my top fifty. It is really quite a good movie and is fairly interesting, but there are several better movies out there (eg. Gone With The Wind, which nobody has put in their top five list bar me. See that kind of thing frustrates me, one top five mention compared to however many Fight Club got. That's a sign of a film being over-rated).

Currently I am listening to Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush. She's definitely a guilty pleasure, especially after seeing her video clip of this song. I'll throw my hat in for Phil Collins also. That will probably do, for now.
-
It was a made for TV version, I think. Nothing terrible, but obviously not of the same quality as the original.
-
1. Gone With The Wind (why am I the first person to have this in their top five!? Heathens!) 2. Life Is Beautiful 3. Blade Runner 4. Apocalypse Now 5. A Clockwork Orange

Despite Nanks's outburst, you're right. Cold Chisel is like a poor man's Bruce Springsteen. In regards to MX, as I said earlier, it's a classic hits station. R & B and Rap really don't fit the criteria for the music played on it

Fargo - 10/10 Sound Of Music - 10/10 A good day for movies with me.

From the WWE Site: Hopefully the Tag Match will be really good. It certainly has potential, and like Orton/Batista or not they've shown they can work a good multi-person match at Wrestlemania. Should be a good show.
