I can't understand anyone who says they like the song. Fear Havoc, I forgot about Jagger/Bowie Dancing In The Street. Terrible. What I think is crap on Bad: Bad Speed Demon Liberian Girl Dirty Diana Smooth Criminal - The most overrated song he ever did. The song is downright terrible, and the supposedly great video isn't much better. Leave Me Alone. Mind you, with Bad, I realise that most of that is just in my opinion. I can see how with some of it one could like it, it's just that I really don't.

I was friends (or aquaintances, I dunno) with a guy who killed a guy. What he did was despicable and a terrible thing to do. He's currently going to be in gaol for god knows how long. And I'm glad, he deserves to be imprisoned, but not killed. Australia hasn't had the Death Penalty for thirty years. To reinstall it would be such a step back socially. Two wrongs don't make a right, it only furthers the tragedy of the initial murder.

To the above post, the movie which is best in your opinion should be your favourite. I don't see how you can say "That's the best movie I've ever seen, but I like this one better". I didn't vote for BTTF over Pulp Fiction, but did over Fight Club. To me it was because Fight Club, while quite good, is immensely overrated. I think had I seen Fight Club having heard some of the rave reviews I've since heard about I would have been massively underwhelmed. Comparatively, Back To The Future is just a downright fun movie. It's like the Indiana Jones movies. Yes, they're not exactly profound (neither is Fight Club really) but they're just fun, energetic and watchable movies.

Pulp Fiction Kill Bill Vol. 1 I warned you all that this tournament was going straight to hell! I warned you all! And now we're going to get PF-RD final two because they're the two best movies ever. Sorry, but this all seems like a bit of a joke.

When I was seven my cat was bitten by a snake and died, yet strangely I don't have this massive hatred of them that I should. I think partially because we're basically taught down here what to do if a snake bites you and, though it may not be the most pleasant thing in the world, I'm likely to survive. No, the worst animal in the world, without a doubt is the shark. No matter how cautious you are, no matter how safe you're being, they're going to get you. Once the shark has you in its sights, you're dead. Tell me how anything can be worse than that.

Soccer is the most played sport in Australia. Bar none. That's a fact. If the media began giving soccer coverage (which it won't because the sport is too big for them to control, thus they don't want it) then it would be the biggest sport in Australia. I was the 1995 Melbourne World Cup Qualifying game against Iran, and that was the greatest sporting event I've ever been apart of. The atmosphere was electric, the patriotism huge (as *everybody* sang the anthem, then booed the Iranian one), it is in my eyes the greatest and worst sporting event I've ever been a part of. In fact, when we do qualify for the World Cup, then soccer may (hopefully) get the recognition it should have. As I said, it's the most played sport in the country. Not cricket, league, AFL. Now jump on the bandwagon lest ye be left behind, says I to all these naysayers.

I too did The Real Inspector Hound and thought it was awesome. I've read some other stuff, but don't remember the names of it, except Ridley Walker, but I'm not even 100% sure that's Stoppard. Aside from that, I've only seen Shakespeare In Love, I think. But it's all quite good.
