I usually agree with you on WWE related matters... but no. So you're saying they should fire Shawn Michaels and Triple H, 2 of their best workers.... Ric Flair, who is still better than most of the newer guys.... Mick Foley, who can be great in one shot comebacks... Kane, who is a fairly good big man... Undertaker, who has a great gimmick and can still put on a great match when motivated... Viscera, I'll give you...JBL is one of the most entertaining characters on the roster, and I used to despise him... Hardcore Holly, well, I'll give you him, too... Scotty 2 Hotty, I couldn't care less... Road Warrior Animal probably won't be back anyway...And I think that covers them all.

EDIT: Perfect, he's in the thread, too. Nothing personal, Bob... I like ya.

I loved that play, but I haven't seen it yet. Then again, I only played with about 1/3 of the teams before creating my own for campaign mode, and each has a different playbook.

I thought the original SNL joke was, "If you were ahot dog, would ya eat yourself?"

Todd Grisham dressed up as Harry Caray for Halloween and did a dead-on impersonation of him.

There's also a link on the main page under "Headlines" that says "Vote Now" for Taboo Tuesday. And actually, no, it's not fixed, by all accounts.

I've been looking to get back into comics since seeing X-2 a couple years back and finding about 150 of my old X-Men and Batman books. Sounds like a great deal, but I'll have to check on shipping. EDIT: Shit, $50 with shipping. Still a good deal, I guess, but I'm not sure. I'd love to get a Marvel W-Z box though, for all the X-books. Watch them be ones I already have, though. EDIT 2: But if free shipping for orders over $40 applies to this deal, you could just get 2 boxes for the same price as 1 shipped. Nice.

Freudian slip?

I didn't see any advertisements for the game, but I waswell awareof its release dueto message board hype. It came out near the beginningof October. In regards to the discussion of game difficulty, while a lot of older games are devilishly difficult, I actually have more trouble with certain newer releases, while I can breeze through the first 7 supposedly hard Mega Man games (NES and SNESversions, not Anniversary Collection with auto-firing) in a single day.

Shit... I swear, I will never miss another LA or Anaheim show again. Soemthing big always happens. I missed Rawin LA the night after Mania, the Raw/SD Supershow the night after Vengeance (had a ticket, and travel problems) and I missed last night's LA SD taping and now this... Vader, Goldust, Duggan, SD Superstars.... fuck me.

Not mine. I'd love to see Jericho return, but under no circumstances should Austin come out of retirement only to be pinned by an announcer.
-
Fuck this, fuck WWE if they go through with it, and fuck Mark Henry's big, fat, untalented ass. I don't want JR back so soon, so if they have Austin lose a debate, as shitty as the whole thing would be, fine. But, as much as I am tolerant of WWE's bullshit and almost always enjoy their shows, I think I'll be sick if Austin loses an actual match to Coachman.

So Kameo plays as well as it looks? I watched the demo at E3 and it looked gorgeous, but aftetr waiting in line for so many other things and having already played Need For Speed on the 360, I didn't want to wait in another long ass line to play it.

What happened to horror movies on Halloween?
Matt Young replied to Failed Bridge's topic in Television & Film
I know. It's bullshit. AMC is re-airing Halloween 4, 5, and Resurrection, which they've been showing every night all month long... 31 Nights of Fright, my black ass. -
Who Was Screwed Over The Most This Year?
Matt Young replied to The Niggardly King's topic in The WWE Folder
Shelton's been fucked by being stuck on Heat, but no way should he get any votes over these two guys since he's still employed. I say Hassan, although I like Christian better. -
Since I didn't get to go to the SD taping in LA last night and I hate spoilers, could someone at least tell me what matches I missed?
-
If Christian really quit, I'll be incredibly sad. I've been a fan of his since he first appeared at Breakdown in September 1998, and even before that, I followed his and Edge's careers in the Canadian indies via Pro Wrestling Illustrated and its sister publications. Now I really wish I could have gone to Smackdown in LA last night to see his final match.

They've signed Roadkill... if they don't sign hispartner and my favorite Bret Hart wannabe to bolster the tag division, they're retarded. So basically, it'll never happen.
-
I've got all three. I prefer DD slightly over the original, and both are better than MK64, although that is a great game in its own right. Can't really explain other than it's just a personal preference.

going 7-2 for the rest of the season would be an incredible daunting task for the Packers (Pit, ATL, PHI, CHI, DET, BALT, CHI, SEA)...I can see maybe 4 wins out of that stretch. 7-9 could be enough to win out the NFC North. I wouldn't put hopes on it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, I don't expect it to happen, but I can always hope. They came back from 1-4 last year and won it at 10-6, so coming back from 1-6 to win it at 8-8 or 7-9 is improbably but not impossible. Sure, the team is severely depleted, but they don't have much in the way of competition.

My top 5, in no particular order (although SMB 3 is certainly #1): Super Mario Bros. 3 Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Super Mario World Mario Kart: Double Dash Mario and Luigi: The Superstar Saga I never owned Yoshi's Island or Super Mario RPG, and Mario 64was very good but very overrated.

Wait just a goddamn minute... The Tolands debuted on Smackdown a few weeks back. Then the following week, Palmer Canon mentioned them in his NTI speech with Teddy Long by that same name. Then last week on Velocity, they were "unknown superstars".... and now they're James and Chad Dick? What the hell.
-
The Packers lost to a damn good Bengals team by just 7 points, and aside from their opening week loss, 14-3 at Detroit, they have lost byno more than 3 points up until this week. They could easily be 5-2 or maybe 6-1 witha few breaks, and they're doing really well considering they're without their best receiver, Javon Walker, their best running back, Ahman Green, Najeh Davenport, and others. With those guys, they'd have a much better record, but even without, they're barely losing. In the sorry NFC North, they could still win the division at 8-8. Still, it hurts to see them lose so often...

Hogan vs. Beefcake.
