Yeah, that's news to me. But hey, I wasn't going to win anyway.

You and Malibu stole Franchise and Spree's gimmick. Where the fuck is Spree, anyway?

Just out of curiosity, which teams are currently on probation? (Yes, I'm extremely bored.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What are the terms of this probation? I understand that I'm on it for missing several weeks, but I had no internet connection, so I had no choice. It won't happen again. Can I still drink while on probation? Jee golly, I hope so.

Yeah, Malibu and Muggy added me as friends... out of pity or morbid curiousity.

I don't wear make-up, but I have insecurities. I don't see your point.

Didn't click the link, but I'm wondering- Major game releases which are sold out (unless you have a pre-order) at most game stores can often be easily obtained at Wal-Mart on launch day. I'm wondering if it'll be the same for the 360, because even if I have an extra $400 to spare by then, pre-orders are likely backed up for weeks by now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It won't harm anything by waiting a number of months, un;ess you are a die-hard have-to-have-it-NOW kind of gamer, and you don't seem that way to me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm a diehard, I-want-it-now-but-often-can't-afford-it-now gamer.

I did have a flag. But I did, however, outright state that I am NOT a odgers fan, which is why I chose to take it out. I simply follow the team because (A) their games are on here, and (B) Jayson Werth went to my high school.

Kid's lucky he was at a church, because only God could have saved him from, at the very least, a broken neck. Well, maybe he did break his neck, but I don't see how else he could have survived that. Sheesh.

Explain. I figured that following them for 10 years, watching most of their games up until I left Illinois and was unable to, and owning a black Labrador with white paws which I named "White Sox" qualified me as a fan, but I'd like to hear what your reasoning is. And no, I didn't mean for that to sound bitter or condescending.

I rarely participate in the discussions because, although I love the Sox, I rarely get to see their games and others are able to offer far more knowledgeable opinions than I am. Plus I'm lazy.

As a huge SC fan, I was dying for Soul Calibur III to be playable on Xbox Live. Sadly, it's not even online for the PS2. However the demo I played at E3 was incredible, and the game if one of the main reasons I want a PS2.

I don't know if you would enjoy it or not. I signed up upon a friend's recommendation in January, and I thought it was stupid for the first few months. Then, after discovering that quite a few of my friends from around here used the service, as well as locating old friends, classmates, it became highly addicting. There is a fair amount of stupid shit, but that could be said about any message boards you would go to as well, or any place where people communicate on the internet. EDIT: Yeah, the MySpace music pages are gerat for aspiring musicians as well as those who are looking to discover quality unsigned bands. I've found several local bands that are amazing, and some have even found and added me.

I know it's not exactly the most unique choice, but you've got to love NWA. I'm about as white as they come, but I still highly enjoy their music.

Didn't they have some angle where Dusty was trying to find some woman... Katie Haas or something similar. It was ridiculous stuff, but I'd always get a laugh out of it whenever I'd watch that show before ECW on TNN.

Exactly. You guys act like she's eaten herself to that point. She's pregnant, dammit, and believe it or not, when you're pregnant, you might just gain a little weight. At least that's what you HOPE happens when you're pregnant. Some of you guys will NEVER be able to handle being married, or having kids, because you can't stand the thought of someone looking like something other than a twig with big breasts. The immaturity level (like calling her a coked-out Tammy Sytch) on this board is sometimes absolutely astounding. I do agree with CanadianChick though - who wears clothes like that when they're pregnant? I kind of expected a more conservative look, but oh well. If I had breasts like that, I'd show them off too. Nothing wrong with being proud of yourself . . . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a huge difference. The only reason I have to care about Dawn Marie is her looks. If the woman I loved were pregnant, it wouldn't matter how big she may get because the attraction goes so much deeper than physical appearance.

On a similar subject, is there anywhere I can acquire any version of Oregon Trail? I've been saying for years that they really need to remake that for PC or, even better, consoles. Oregon Trail on Xbox Live wouldbe awesome.

Well lady and gentlemen, it's about time for the annual Toys R Us buy 2 get 1 free sale. The sale applies only to PS2, Xbox, and GameCube games. Unfortunately, PSP, DS, and GBA games (and I wanted quite a few DS and GBA games) are not included. Basically, you buy 2 games, and get1 game of equal or lesser value free. Buy 2 $50 games, get a $50 game free. Buy 2 Platinum Hits/Greatest Hits games at $20 a pop, get a $20 game free. Simple enough, eh? I know some people here are aware of the sale, but I wanted to let everyone else know. This is a great chance to catch up on titles you've missed outon over the past year, and to save big on some of the stellar recent releases. If only they did this at the end of November... but hey, I can think of at least 6 games I want just for the Xbox right now. I hope you all are able to take advantage of this and find what you are looking for. Good luck!

*Raises hand* EDIT: I agre with what Porter and I Sportsfan said. I, too, would watch every Sox game that came on WGN (well, I did that this season as well) and Fox Sports Chicago. Unfortunately, since I moved last Novemeber, I wasn't able to catch all the local broadcasts this season.

I can. "Want to have a slumber party?"

I got married.

Ah, so I am not the only one who can be entertained by the cheesiness of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin even though they're not really "good movies". On a random note, I still have my Riddler glass from I believe McDonalds, circa 1995.

'Tis your own fault for taking anything he says literally, unless it be about music. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Man's got a point. That's why Inc is (at times) funny. He's so over the top. I just thought that applied to his statements in the Music folder as well.

I rented this tonight, and all I can say is that it is by far my favorite superhero film ever, and one of my favorite films of 2005, if not the definitive #1. I must own the deluxe edition. I'll be watching this one many times over.
