The Packers are killing me. They're 1-5, but they could easily be 5-1 as all their losses except for the opener against Detroit have been by 3 points or fewer Fuck. And now they've lost their best running back, Ahman Green, in addition to their best receiver, Javon Walker. Well, at least the White Sox are in the World Series.

Rhythm of the Night was a nice song. Never knew who it was by til now, though.

I don't remember why we got an Atari... I was 2 years old. The NES- SMB and Ninja Tutrles. Super NES- I rented one from National Rentals and convinced my mom, grandma, dad, and uncle to pay $50 a piece for the system w/Super Mario World in 1991. Game Boy- Just wanted somethingportable, I guess. Don't really remember. Aside fromthepack-in title, Tetris, myfirst game was WWF Superstars. It sucked (in retrospect) but I loved it. Game Boy Color- It wasin color... heh. Only "exclusive" game I got was Link's Awakening DX. Game Gear- Just wanted a full color ahndheld. Got Sonic 1 and X-Men for it, nothing else. Nintendo 64: I was trying to decide betwen this and the PS1 for my 13th birthday in 1997. ThePS1 had thebest sports games, but the 64 swayed me via brand loyalty, Mario 64, Starfox 64, and for some reason, GoldenEye, although I had never seen the movie or played a FPS. PS1- Just bought this later on to have it. Genesis- I got this when they released Genesis 3. did't buy it for acertain game, although I came to adore Gunstar Heroes. Dreamcast- I rented Sonice Adventure and the system from Hollywood Video in July 1999. No way was I going to miss out on Sonic in gorgeous 3D, or NFL 2K5. GameCube- Got it on Black Friday 2003 with Mario Kart. I wanted other games, but theprice reduction andthequality of this title sold me. Xbox- No certain games, just a desire to play something Non-Nintendo and to haveonline gameplay. Halo 2 was theone gamethat hooked me, aside from sports titles. Nintendo DS- Several titles interested me but Nintendogs was what drove me to buy the unit. Recreating my German shepherd invirtual form is tight as fuck. And I still don't have a PS2... *cries*

Ah, I see. I was wondering how you managed to humiliate me in halo 2 without owning an Xbox. Seriously, you're amazing at that game.

If there was one PPV that defined WCW...
Matt Young replied to CBright7831's topic in General Wrestling
That's if you want to point out the beginning of the end. For positive PPVs, Bash at the Beach 1996 stands out. As far as overall wrestling quality, I'll have to think on that one. God, I miss WCW. -
Hope you can come back. You're one of the good ones.

What happened to your Xbox? We still don't know if the 360 will be compatible. It's only been said that it's compatible with "top selling titles". Halo 2 is a given, but who knows what else. Also, you need the model with the hard drive even for that. And to LLGC, I was going to get Marvel Nemesis, but from all the reviews I've read, it's a horrible game. Please let me know if you disagree with those reviewers. Maybe I should rent it, at least.

But that's what Blitz is- No pass interference and "home cookin'" catch up AI. Still, I would recommend a rental first as well, especially if you don't have Live/PS2 online/friends. If it weren't for Live, I never would have bought the game.

It's actually Tito Maas, but same difference.

Mostly fictional, but according to people on GameFAQs, there are guys based on certain star NFL players. Of course, Ron Mexico is in the game.
-
I was at first, but my opinion has changed. I just made a thread about the game, actually.

I picked this game up for the Xbox, seeing as how I loved the old Blitz games and the new story mode and Live play interested me. I played a couple games, and damn, I was disappointed. I really did not like the game. Then I tried the tutorials. They were tough at points, and Lawrence Taylor shouted more obscenities at me than my mother ever had, but after finishing, I played another exhibition game and I realized soemthing. This game is awesome! It has all the stuff from the old Blitz games, but so much more. Matrix/bullet-time like Clash Mode, dirty hits where you can snap guys' bones and tendons in half, hilarious player taunts and touchdown celebrations, and so much more. I had a hard time putting the game down, and that's just on 1 player exhibition mode. I haven't even started the season (since I have to create a team while on Live to use it online) or played on Live since it's down today, but damn, I love this game. I've never played the Street games so I can't compare the two, but for thoseof you who don't have this, I highly recommend it.

Interesting. I'll have to pass this on to my friends in New Midwest Wrestling.

That sounds delicious. I know my lunch tomorrow will be a couple double turkey burgers (that's all we have) with Miracle Whip, mustard, ketchup, Vlasic Tabasco Stackers pickles, and onions.

I just got NBA 2K6 for Xbox. Do any of you play on Live? I played 3 games online tonight against a friend, and that shit is sooo addicting.
-
Wow, that wasa drastic avatar change. Also, Natty Ice and Icehouse are gross. I drink Budweiser and 211 Steel Reserve.

I'm guessing it's too late to join, eh?

Bad lighting + camera phone= shitty picture, but yeah:
-
Yeah, things like that always frustrated me... until I got an Xbox.

Holy shit. That whole 9th inning was an emotional rollercoaster. I had a good feeling when Podsednik stepped up to the plate, and bam... he did it. 2 wins away.

You can all thank my fiancee. She's a good luck charm for the Sox. She called me last Sunday, and minutes later, the Sox won the ALCS. She watched the game with me last night and they won. She called me tonight, and not 30 seconds later, grand slam. Okay, so maybe it's a coincidence, but as long as the Sox win, that's what matters.
-
I know. That's a shame, really. I just hope MLB 2K6is better than 2K5. I liked the previous 2K/World Series baseball games just fine.

Just got back... I picked up the following for $247 and change: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (GC) Blitz: The League (Xbox) Burnout Revenge (Xbox) X-Men Legends II (Xbox) Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (Xbox) NBA 2K6 (Xbox) Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GC) Sonic Mega Collection Plus (Xbox) Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie (PS2) for my friend's son's 8th birthday. I will be busy for a while now...

Seeing as how HHH will win the match, is WWE just going to ignore the fact that Flair is the Intercontinental Champion?
