I got $12 credit for SFAC and $8 for Sonic Heroes, surprisingly enough. That, combined with the deal reducing the price to $30 and my total $28 credit (I already had 8) meant that I paid just over $3.50 for Madden, lol. I won't be able to get it til tomorrow, however.

I've barely played the game since I bought it in February. HBK, first off, relax man. I said you were a good guy, which I feel you are, but Black Lushus is also a really cool dude. Please just stop this stupid bickering. Well, we already know what is in Madden 06, so no. Honestly, NFL 2K5 was close to the perfect football game for me. There aren't a whole lot of innovations that can be made in this type of game- at least not major ones. I'm sure if I gave it some thought, I could come up with a few things, but the one big feature I'd like to see in an NFL game is an online franchise. Not just a league, but a franchise.

Even though I hated both men with a passion when they debuted, I've grown to like Snitsky and Masters and I'd really like to see them take the tag belts off Hurricane and Rosey.

Detroit is the one city I've ever been in that I was legitimately scared to walk around in. Maybe it was just the area around the Greyhound station that was bad, though (I had a 2 hour layover).

Back to Madden... I'm going to GameRush today to pre-order. I'm trading in Sonic Heroes and Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, 2 shitty games which I never play, and the deal is that I can pre-order a game for $29.99. Also, the credit for those 2 games is subtracted from the $29.99, and that combined with my $20 gift certificate means I pretty much pay nothing out of pocket.

If you're in or near Illinois, New Midwest Wrestling (www.newmidwest.com) is excellent. I used to train with those guys and go to all the shows, but I was a fan before I became friends with the workers, and I can say without bias that their shows offer some of the best wrestling you'll see in the US for a cost of $8 per show. Check out one of their DVDs if you don't believe me. Back on topic, I really need to get to LA for one of these shows. The only problem is that I have no car, and while I can take the Metrolink to LA, it doesn't run late enough to get me home. Any TSM members willing to give me a couch or floor to crash on after a show until I can take the train back to Riverside in the morning? Heh, doubtful...

I was just wondering if anyone else would be staying up to watch the first NFL preseason game between the Falcons and Colts, live from Tokyo, Japan, at 5 AM Eastern/2 AM Pacific on ESPN2. Sure, there's a replay later in the day, but I have to see the game live, sleep be damned. I missed football so much.

It's looking very good to me. It will likely be the first PPV I've paid full price for (discounting all those I saw by throwing in $5 with my friends) in years... although there are others I would have ordered if I had had money back then.

Since when do they make PPV posters that actually have to do with what happens on the show? Heh... I like it, and I always enjoy the matches between those two.

I've never broken anything, but I've heard that sprains are often more painful than breaks. I know that when I sprained my ankle, it was excruciating when I put any weight on it. Did you actually sprain anything, or was it "just" a contusion?
