You know, although I liked the Spice Girls' singles back in, what, 1996 or 1997, I didn't know any better then. I listened to lots of cheesy pop, stuff that you could never get me to give a chance now. However, Milky's words have changed my view. The guy has convinced me to give the Spice Girls another chance. What he said was well thought out, well written, and made sense. For this and otehr reasons, I am convinced the man is a genius, or at least is borderline.

A mere 15 months after here smash hit debut, Autobiography, Ashlee Simspon will be releasing I Am Me on October 18th. Ashlee has been all over TV and awards shows, and she and her sister Jessica were recently profiled in an E! True Hollywood Story special. Come on guys... I may not have the Ashlee avatar and sig anymore, but I still love the girl. Maybe now I'll be able to see her perform live after missing her tour-opening shows in LA and Anaheim last fall. Anyway, here's the information I received tonight in my "Ashlee's Insiders" e-mail update: September 9, 2005 Hey Matt, it's Ashlee! It's been an exciting and busy week for me! I just shot the video for my first single "Boyfriend" for my new album called I Am Me which comes out Oct.18th. I'm really excited for you all to hear it and see the video! I am going to TRL next week to show the finished video and hope you'll all vote for it on the countdown. Over the next few weeks, I'll be performing across the country and I hope to see and meet some of you then! In the meantime, I'll be keeping you updated right here so check in often! Much love! Xoxo Ashlee

On "Comments That Don't Warrant a Thread"
Matt Young replied to Matt Young's topic in No Holds Barred
I simply looked up a random book in my Bible and it turned out that the passage I opened it to was this one. I quite like it, actually. -
Yeah, I know this probably came off like that, like I wanted to get a cheap laugh and/or attention. But really, I am just plain bored like the post states and wanted someone to talk to since AIM's not working. Very, very, very bored. So bored that I watched Batman & Robin and halfway enjoyed it. Also, why did I used to think Banky was a good poster? All he does is say shit about me that's neither hurtful nor funny, just sad, and has posted the worst picture of my girlfriend in like 3 posts. He's worse than usethesledgehammeruh, Micah L. Glossinger, Jerry Drake (even though the guy was my friend way back before he posted here), O.J. Hart, Eddie Winslow, and Mr. Rant- combined.

What do you look like... (Pages 1 2 3 ...73 )
Matt Young replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in General Chat
I've posted a fair amount of pictures of myself and my girlfriend over the alst few months, but since this pertains to none of my topics in which those pictures were included and certainly doesn't warrant its own thread, I share with you a picture from earlier tonight of me showing off my purchases from my trip to Albertson's. Melissa and I merely picked up the essentials- Beer, condoms, and cigarettes (211 Steel Reserve tall cans, Trojans, and Newports). -
Nope, I can't. Kudos to you.
-
If fat girls can't convince me to have sex with them when I'm plastered, you can't convince me to drink piss when I'm merely drunk, yet not wasted. Convincing one person in one night is quite the accomplishment. Be satisfied with that.
-
Don't be upset. That just means we should post everything in this thread.
-
Yeah, I'll admit it. Since Melissa left 20 minutes ago, i've been horribly bored. i figure if I talk to someone, I'll be less broed, and you may be entertained by my intoxicated state. So if any poor soul wants to talk to me (doubtful), my cell number is (951)966-2067. I'll be drinking whiskey, eating pizza, and watching some form of DVD. Shit gets boring once the girl leaves....
-
Why are you two talking to each other when you both usually IM me whenever I sign on AIM? Oh wait, I'm not on. For England, James? For England, Alec.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven: A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing. A time to search, and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and a time to speak. A time to love, and a time to hate; A time for war, and a time for peace.

Nothing in "General Chat" really even warrants a thread anymore. Same for Hardcore Discussion.

I like 'em all.. but the second one tops the first due to not having his name on it.
-
If you're someone else, you'll be like, "WTF?" But are you Jerry Drake, or someone else using the Olympic Slam moniker?

PSX is a great system, no question, but the N64 was better. As far as other generations go, Dreamcast, NES, and SNES, along with various Game Boy incarnations, walloped it. I wasn't even aware that the PS1 was released on this date until I read about it at CheapAssGamer. Most importantly, it is the 6th anniversary of the Dreamcast (9/9/99). I had the day off, and I played DC games most of the day til like 5 PM when I left home. Long live the Dreamcast!
-
No, although I may look like I am without the beard. It was something Melissa decided to do while we were both drunk. I didn't consider the repercussions until I started getting funny looks from people the next morning, heh.

Awesome. They haven't been running any commercials yet on UPN-13, so I guess tickets aren't on sale yet, but maybe I will be able to attend that show. It might make up for missing the Raw/SD supershow in Anaheim the night after Vengeance (last night of the draft)... well, a little bit. *cries at the memory of ahving a ticket but not being able to attend*

Don't quote me on this, but from what I've read, I'm 99% sure he is not. His player model is available for download, however, along with (and I'm guessing here) probably some other rookies. A complete roster download covering the countless roster changes of late will be released prior to the start of the season.

Yeah, it's gotten decent reviews... 7/10's on average from what I've seen. I was very excited about the game because the demo I played at E3 (how many times have i used that phrase here when discussing a game? lol) was really fun and the graphics on an HDTV are beyond gorgeous. However, knowing now that single player lasts maybe 6 hours and multiplayer is supposedly a second rate Halo type game, I'll just rent it and then wait for a price drop unless the final game really wows me.

This picture was taken for other reasons, but here's a decent shot of the left side of my beard from last night:

Yeah, that game was balls. I have fallen so far behind on my MVP season with the ChiSox... I think I've played maybe 35-40 games.
-
I went to a concert in August 1999 featuring Starship, Eddie Money, and Styx, and enjoyed it.

I was wondering the same thing. I've heard past songs by them and was unimpressed, and I even skipped out on their set at Warped Tour, but I've been hearing "Bat Country" for the last few months and I love it. It's one of my favorite songs of the year. I listen to it on repeat on Madden, lol... I wanted tod ownload the CD or stream it, but my computer is broken and I have to share thsi one, so I haven't been able to. I'd buy the CD if the rest of the songs were nearly as good as the excellent "Bat Country".

I had some white albacore (not canned albacore/tuna, but freshly caught fish), mashed potatoes, and corn for dinner... And I'm about to hit up the leftovers right now.

I took this picture of the X-Men Legends II display at E3 back in May:
