I'm naked and feeling neglected, and I've been
Matt Young replied to Matt Young's topic in No Holds Barred
I'm consistent. I bring the gayness almost daily. What's most disturbing is that someone would spend time searching through my previous posts from the last 2 or so years of the board that I believe is still listed. Even I'm kind of afraid of what I'll find. -
I didn't even think to mention DVDs, probably because I haven't had a DVD player for long and I got 12 of my 15 DVDs at once from that DeepDiscountDVD sale that Downhome posted about several months ago which led to me discovering how awesome the original Star Wars Trilogy is.

useless moron Scott Keith's girlfriend XXXPosed
Matt Young replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Man, I love you guys. This thread made me LOL on several occasions. Congratulations to Scott on apparently finding happiness. I enjoy his rants, and everyone deserves to find someone special to spend their lives with. As for her looks... Well, as much as personality matters, I couldn't date a woman that large, regardless of how great she was. The inital attraction just wouldn't be there to stimulate my interest. But Scott appears to be less shallow and/or more desperate than I, and for that I commend him. I'll tell ya what, though, I've met women that make Scott's gal look like Tyra Banks by comparison. -
The Sacajawea dollar must be very common. I have 5 right here, all of which were minted in 2000 (was that the only year they were produced?). I got them all as change when I bought my Metrolink ticket (what a farce, they don't even check for tix) at Union Station in Los Angeles. I had never received one before, but I officially hate them- just as I hate Canadian $1 and $2 currency- because I have a tendency to lose change from my pockets. I much prefer paper money.

I need to find some "before" pictures for me. I was a fat fuck from age 7 to almost 19 and I always wanted to lose weight, which I finally did 2 years ago via losing my appetite to depression and dropping from 176-125 pounds in 4 months or so in 2003. Now some say I'm too skinny. I trained to wrestle for a couple months on 2 separate occasions- once while fat, and once after losing weight, expecting to do better. It's harder when you're skinny. Steel cables/ropes hitting non-fat-covered ribs= teh pain. I want to add some muscle and maybe go try wrestling again (but I just want muscle period) but gyms cost money, unfortunately. This isn't about me, though. I'm just saying that I have an idea of what you went through, and I respect your hard work and commitment. Bravo. P.S. I thought this thread was about the poster with the balding guy in his avatar and the dysfunctional lady at home, The New Me.

This is just a random question that comes to mind every now and then, and I am interested to hear your thoughts. Some of you may disagree with me, but I want to be honest- I have no moral objection to obtaining copyrighted materials without paying. It may seem contradictory, but while I detest stealing in the traditional sense, I have never had a problem downloading or copying games or music, which some people do consider classifiable as theft. I would always try to get copies of games and especially CDs from friends or painstakingly download the music via my 56k modem. So now that I have broadband, you'd think I'd be doing this more than ever, right? Wrong. I am downloading CDs to replace mine that were stolen, but other than that, I have bought all my games (I even buy carts when I could easily get ROMs) and I started buying CDs again this year, although I won't spend more than $9.99 usually. For some reason, I enjoy having the actual design and packaging in my hands and/or on my shelf. I can't even explain why. I could likely print off a near perfect copy of the disc design, booklet, etc. but I choose to pay for the real thing when i could get it for free. Is this an extreme collector's mentality or simply insanity?

In your sig pic, Gene Snitsky has the tiniest right wrist that I have ever seen on a man. -
I used to really like Weezer. The Blue Album was great, Pinkerton was awesome, Green Album was good. I haven't heard much of maladroit, but the singles were alright. This "Beverly Hills" song, however, sucked. I saw the video... It's slow, monotonous, unoriginal and boring. The solo is its only redeeming factor.

Will Chappelle's Show go the way of the dodo?
Matt Young replied to syxx2001's topic in Television & Film
I just have to chime in to say that Dave Attell rules (I used to watch Insomniac regularly), Chappelle is one of the best comedians out there, and Chappelle's Show still hasn't lost much of its entertainment value despite the fact that I've seen every episode probably a dozen times or more due to Season 1 on DVD and tapes of Season 2. -
White Sox beat the Twins, 8-5 in Minnesota, to take a 2-0 series lead.

A friend of mine in Virginia no longer has a GameRush store in his area, so he's sending me a couple games he got on discount at EB (the GR trade in value is higher than what he paid) so if I trade in his shit along with my copy of Street Fighter: AC (which sucks on 1P and I'm no good online), due to GameRush's "trade 2, get a new release for $30" and "trade 3 or more games, get $5 extra credit on each" deals, I can get him Forza, still get Tiger Woods 2005 for myself, AND get WrestleMania 21. Badass.
-
Indeed. Over 60 games a week, all season long. I think that's what the commercial said.
-
Ah, thanks. I heard from others after posting that it is a one week deal. The full Extra Innings package is 4 payments of around $42 (not sure on the exact figure).

I wasn't sure whether to post this in this forum or Movies/TV/DVD, but I decided that a response would be more likely here. I turned on the TV today and flipped to what I thought was Fox Sports/FSN West, looking for a Dodgers or Angels game. I instead witnessed a pretty good game between the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners. The feed cut out after the game, though, and went to black. I noticed that this channel was FSN Northwest. I flipped through the FSN networks and saw a White Sox/Twins game on FSN North. I pressed "enter" and the game was on! Now I'm watching my beloved White Sox for the first time this year, something which will likely be a rare occurence out here in California. My question is this- Normally, I only get channels 652-653 when it comes to Fox Sports. Those are the West/California channels. I have no special sports pack... Does everyone get all the baseball games now? If so, is it only this week, ending tomorrow? I never got any mail on it, whether it be regular, e-mail, or DirecTV viewer mail, and DirecTV.com says nothing. If this ends tomorrow, I'm going to be pissed that I didn't discover it til today.

Now it's being listed at GameFAQs as April 20th. That makes more sense, but often various game sites/stores have several dates listed depending on where you look, from the Monday of release week til the end of the week. For example, Tales of Symphonia for GameCube (broiught up since it's one of the few games I preordered) had an "official" release date of July 13th, 2004, a Tuesday. However, some place got it Monday, some Tuesday, some Wedenesday, and then Best Buy (where I reserved it) got the game on Thursday the 15th. Scroby, having worked at a game store, knows this already, so this is more for everyone else to comment on. Who knows on what date which retail outlet will have the game? I'm just hoping GameRush gets it soon since, provided I have to trade in games to get WM21, they give the best value.

FBTG- Damn, that post is old. That was from before she and I ever got back together and, eventually, engaged. Where did you find that? As for the rest, well... what can I say? I haven't made good posts in a long time. And with that title, did you expect much? I don't really recall much of my reason for posting. I was truly smoking marijuana and watching the Star Wars trilogy for the second, but I was neither naked nor feeling neglected. I found Desi Arnaz to be extremely hilrious for some reason, though. Really, that's about it. But my internet connection was down for the next 2 and a half days, I believe as some sort of punishment. -

Sorry, double post.

I'm pretty high right now, and the song "The World At Large" by Modest Mouse is quite entrancing.

When should Edge cash in his title shot?
Matt Young replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
He ditched the Spanky theme (what song is that anyway? I hear it on commercials a lot) back when he started teaming with Kidman. Now he has a crappy, generic power chord riff. -
I already own the VHS.

Kansas, along with Duke, has been one of my most hated teams for years, so I don't like Roy Williams. However, I do respect him and UNC's basketball team, and they definitely earned their win tonight. I'm incredibly disappointed in the outcome of the game. We were so close. So close. The game meant a lot to me since I lived a short distance from Champaign for 20 years, traveling there often, and I have a cousin who's an Illini cheerleader. Illinois finally made it to the title game, and I truly believed that they would win. If it wasn't for that first half and far too many missed 3's, they probably would have come out on top. Still, I can't be too disappointed... They made their first ever title game, and finished 37-2 with those 2 losses coming by a combined 6 points. They tied the NCAA wins record for a season. Congratulations to both UNC and my Fighting Illini on a spectacular 2005 season.

I'm looking for a tape of 21 myself since I was there live and my friend's tape got fucked up. I don't want to wait for the DVD to see the televised version of the show.

Green Day's my favorite band (along with The Doors) and they're the reason I started playing guitar, writing songs, and wanting to be in a band. However, I missed Storytellers since I was at WrestleMania. Hopefully they'll replay it soon.

Bruiser was referring to MVP, not 2K5, just to clarify.
