My friend's selling me his extra ticket if I can come up witht the money soon. Needless to say, I'm trying everything to do just that. If I can manage the extra $50, which I'm doubting now, I'd like to go to the Hall of Fame ceremony.

Shit, I missed it. WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME?!

Exactly. I would much rather nto wear a condom, but I'm not even going to be 21 until July, and I don't want a child that I have to spend 18 years of my life (minimum) dedicated to, nor do I want to contract a painful or potentially fatal disease. Kids can wait til I'm 25-30 and have lived a little, and the whole death thing will probably come soon after marriage/kids anyway.

Hey Downhome, I didn't know you went to Cheap Ass Gamer. I registered at their forums in July, and I've been posting almost daily for the last month or so. Their Xbox Live leagues are great. P.S.: That board is also where I get all my info on game sales and find deals from the weekly ads early, such as when I informed everyone of MLB 2K5 and MVP Baseball sales.

The Sony PlayStation Portable was released at 12:01 A.M. today. Thousands of wealthy gamers and tech-heads rushed out to buy the system, with many more no doubt set to purchase it later today. I have little doubt that I'll get the system in the future. Although I don't have much use for portable systems, I'm a game collector and I enjoy a good game no matter what the system. For that reason, I will pick up a PSP (and DS) someday. However, there have already been a couple design problems reported as it pertains to the $250 machine. There have been problems with discs popping out unexpectedly and the square button "sticking" on the Japanese versions of the system, although those problems have supposedly been fixed for the U.S. release. Now, though, there are hundreds of people reporting problems with dead pixels on the PSP's LCD screen, along with dust under the screen itself. I know Sony doesn't have the best track record when it comes to new hardware, but such things are inexcusable. In one poll, only 36% of respondents reported having no dead pixels. That's 64%, or nearly 2/3, that did have the problem. Understand that I am not trying to bash the PSP. I want it to succeed. I'm simply reporting what's been said so far. If any of you bought or played a PSP, let us know. For now, I shalt venture to GameFAQs for more related reading.

What he said. And MMH, the girl I'm currently involved with is a couple years older than me. OMFG LEGAL~!!1! Regardless, I have no problem admitting that I see nothing truly wrong with hooking up with underage girls if they are mature, both physically and mentally.

Countdown to Infinite Crisis, six page preview
Matt Young replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Literature
I will pick it up since I have been looking to get back into comics for a year and a half now, but I never found a place to jump in. This will be $1, so why the fuck not? I also want to thank you for introducing me to popcultureshock.com. I had never been there, but it pretty much covers all my main interests save for women and wrestling. Great site. -
I pretty much only bother with the novelty and old school games at arcades. I don't really have the desire to spend too much money on getting my ass handed to me for 15 seconds in the hot new fighting game by someone who has devoted countless hours to it. I just can't afford that. I will likely hit up the arcades once I get good at DDR on my Xbox, though.

It's funny that you guys mentioned some of these bands. I like a lot of 90's alternarock, and last night I happened to get high and listen to the s/t Marcy Playground CD, New Miserable Experience, and The Cranberries' To The Faithful Departed. I also heard The Eels' Novacaine For The Soul on the radio. I need to go find some similar stuff on Launchcast radio. I haven't even bothered with that service since I got SBC Yahoo DSL 2 months ago.

I just talked to JSYK for 15 minutes on the phone.

I;m high and that's really funny. -
I just have to state for the record that as far as 3D fighters go, Soul Calibur 1 and 2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Tekken series>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mortal Kombat: DA and Deception. I thought the current-gen Mortal Kombat games sucked, even the MK:D online play, and while the Tekken series is really good, I believe SC is a full step above. Although, to be fair, I (regrettably) haven't played Tekken 5 due to not owning a PS2 yet.

OMFG come to my house so we can play video games and watch the Ashlee Simpson Show!!! LOLGAYNESS Um, yeah. I don't know where that came from. Just forget I ever typed that. Please. That sucks that you didn't get to do much for your 21st birthday. Mine's coming up on July 30th, and I'm not sure what will go down, but I hope to get very drunk and have a good time doing whatever it is I'll be doing. Last year, I just spent some time with my then-fiancee and a few close friends. We just hung out at the apartment, got drunk, and I got laid that night. Nothing impressive, but I had a great time and it was my first time getting drunk and/or having sex on a birthday that I can recall.

Homeless man busted for printing kiddy porn

I pretty much only bother looking for pics of celebrities. Pics of "regular people" typically don't interest me. -
Do you work for that magazine? I know you do reviews and you did pimp the review, but I wasn't exactly sure if you were employed by that particular publication. I'll remove the links if that is the case and you don't want them posted here, but they're on pretty much every wrestling games message board around. I figured the review would be of interest to the 99% of us who don't live in the UK and don't have access to the magazine.

Here are some scans of the review from the UK XBM magazine: http://img32.exs.cx/img32/4812/wm21reviewpage1xbm5op.jpg http://img31.exs.cx/img31/4839/wm21reviewpage2xbm3xl.jpg http://img31.exs.cx/img31/1473/wm21reviewpage3xbm2ib.jpg http://img31.exs.cx/img31/4969/wm21reviewpage4xbm6gq.jpg http://img31.exs.cx/img31/6346/wm21reviewpage5xbm1bc.jpg http://img32.exs.cx/img32/3456/wm21reviewpage6xbm9qz.jpg ---------------- These screens have only served to get me that much more hyped for the game. I enjoy pretty much any wrestling game,. but the amazing graphics, rich feature list, and online play for this title make it look like possibly the greatest wrestling game of this console generation. The impressions of various reviewers and Mike Regan, along with the awesome videos he has posted at GamingRing.com, make me want to pre-order right now.

He said the first Turtles game. The second one was the game with 4 player support and the unlockable arcade game. The first TMNT for Xbox/GC/PS2 was pretty good, though repetitive at times.

Fuck Namco. I've bought more Namco games in the last few years probably than any other developer save Nintendo, so this news disappoints me greatly. I have Soul Calibur for Dreamcast and SCII for the GameCube and they're amongst my favorite fighting games of all time. Needless to say, I have been eagerly anticipating SCIII. Now they are going to reelase it for the one system I don't have. Yes, I'm planning on getting a PS2 anyway once I can afford it. But this decision is stupid for several reasons. There are a lot of Xbox owners (and to a lesser extent, GC owners) who love the SC series but don't own a PS2. Namco's giving up a ton of money here. I have a feeling that they'll be releasing the game for the other systems later on, but it should be simultaneous. Most importantly, they NEED to release the game for Xbox and/or Xbox 2. Soul Calibur III with Live play would be godly, and I could actually compete well in that, unlike Street Fighter AC.
-
I still haven't even opened up the first game. Too many games, and too much time spent on Xbox Live. Still, if I had $20 right now, I'd pick up KOTOR II via GameCrazy's ad misprint.

Ha... I talked to him briefly after that, not knowing what happened (I asked for an autograph) and then saw him get arrested. That was the only cool thing to ever happen in Springfield, Illinois. If only I'd had a camera...

I say if you're gonna download, don't bother translating foreign langauages or paying for downloads. Get 'em free. Of course, when I thought downloading games and music was the coolest thing ever, my connection couldn't handle it, and now that I have broadband, I'd rather pay for the actual product. I don't have any moral objection to getting the stuff for free, but I guess the collector in me prefers the real deal.

Fuck, and I was really counting on seeing london win the belt live and in person.

I think this is really cool. I unfortunately missed the Smackdown match (anybody know where I can download that?) but Marty looked great on Raw.
